I've been going for years but clearly there must be new management that focuses on quantity over quality. Shellac nails are supposed to last two to three weeks. Not at Coco Nails. Went in for a repair of 5 lifted and 1 shellac nail polish that came off with no damage to my nail. They wanted to charge me full price and I refused. My last visit was on 5/26/2023. I said no. I have a shellac pedicure from another salon that looks fresh and it's 3 weeks old. I liked this place my first 3 experiences. After this 4th I will not be back. Please see the attached photos. Today is Sunday I just went on Friday and already chipping. Definitely not worth 147 (90 for nails and the rest toes). This was my second design that day the initial design was terrible and didn't look anything like the pic. The rude manager at the front was so rude it was ridiculous. Don't have rude people at the front who have no customer service skills it's really a bad look for the business. I literally just wasted 147 because my toes are chipping as well. All within 2 days. Frankly I'd like my money back because now I have to go spend money elsewhere to fix nails and toes. read more

Some clients may like getting their pedicure AND nails done at the same time. It was NOT a relaxing spa experience for me. Being scrunched and twisted in the chair to get my nails done instead of laying back and relaxing isn't my kind of appointment. If your concerned about Covid or anything else they are right there in your face no sanitization of washing hands. Hard pieces of acrylic left under my nails, argues with me when I wanted a nail shorter. I need to relax and have a moment of pampering and feel safe. It's not going to be at Cocos. My nails look fine from a distance. One side is thicker and one side is thinner. I'm from out of town and my nail tech is a perfectionist and she gives me the most relaxing pedicure and acrylic nails in a total of 1.5 hours and somehow I don't feel rushed. It took two people at the same time and I was in their "care" 1 hour and 45 minutes. My neck and back hurt when I left from being twisted the whole time. So it didn't even save me any time. I have never been loyal to any nail salon for as long as I can remember. There was always something lacking, especially with nails salons inside the loop. Those tend to be more expensive with technicians rushing from one customer to the next, resulting in bad craftsmanship. I've tried nearly every reputable nail salon in this area. But I think I've finally found the nail salon of my dreams! Coco Nail Salon is brand new, spacious, located in a shopping center with plenty of parking (a big deal to me, not trying to valet just to go to the nail salon!), has a large color selection, and most importantly nail technicians that are knowledgeable and actually want to help you preserve your nails! I arrived on Saturday afternoon, the salon was busy but not crazy packed. I got a Shellac Manicure and Deluxe Pedicure. My nail techs both took their time with me and carefully applied the polish to ensure it would look even and uniform. (Sounds simple, but that's hard to find these days.) Michelle helped me find the perfect shade of light pink polish. (CND: Winter Glow, thank me later!) Prices were competitive and lower than some of the other salons in the area, quality of services received was top-notch. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED - I had such high hopes for this salon but I don't think I will return after my experience today. I sat down and waited for my nail tech (Thanh) and told her hello and she said nothing back to me(way to start off my 1st experience). She was very hard/aggressive with how she did my nails the whole time. She was drilling heavy on my nail bed which burned a good majority of the time with her drill bit and just seemed very annoyed and angry the whole time. When she started laying the acrylic it was just overly messy and super rushed. She didn't clean off the sanding residue while painting the shellac which resulted in a lot of bumps and bubbles in my nails. She did not do a clean up on the underside of my nails to clean off the acrylic or glue and was just overall messy. After the shellac was cured she refilled my nails which messed up the shellac and the cure gloss which NO nail tech has done when I get shellac. This was NOT worth $72 that I paid for my nails. I'm very disappointed... I don't know if my nail tech was taking some anger out on me but I feel like anytime you deal with a client you should care about the work that you do and to not be so rough. The color was cute but everything else really ruined it for me. Wouldn't recommend at this time. read more

Instead of reloading the gift card as they should with the amount I paid for, she would only put the amount on the card minus the discount they gave her the day she came in. This place was OK. I was shocked at how packed it was even during Covid. It was no social distancing and mask were not required so I really did not feel comfortable. I thought they had a private room that I was going to reserve for my birthday but it's really not a private room. It's just 3 to 6 chairs with a partition that's not even halfway closed, so it's really not exclusive. I would not recommend this nail spa unless you go during the week when hopefully it is less crowded, and you want something really quick done. I thought the prices were great (have def paid more for less at other places) and service was warm and prompt. The massage chairs are brand new so they really work your body nicely. Be warned that the chairs have a booty massage feature! I loved how it felt glamorous and clean but not stuffy. Didn't smell overwhelmingly of polish, etc. All the exfoliants and creams they use smelled so good. My pedi came with paraffin treatment which feels nice even days later. What I love most is the dipped manicure. I came in for it because my friend got one and it lasted weeks! The mani feels so strong and I feel like my nails are ready for anything. I like this place in terms of the final look of the nails, but the process was painful, literally and figuratively. My sister and I went in to get manicures today for my birthday and her nail tech seemed great but mine seemed to be having a bad day. She was really aggressive with the filing which tore my skin and made my pinky bleed. She never asked what shape I wanted, and I noticed she was doing square when I wanted almond. I spoke up asking for the change and that seemed to upset her because she talked frustratedly to another woman about what sounded like the shape of my nails for a good minute or two. (Their conversation wasn't in English so I can't say for sure if it was my nails she was talking about.) Every question I asked seemed to bother her. I called two days ahead of time to make an appointment, was greeted by a very sweet lady on the phone who booked me an appointment within my availability. However, when I showed up 10 minutes early, stating that I had an appointment, they did not ask my name, just what I wanted done and they gave me a place to sit. I was seated for about 3 minutes when another customer was sat next to me. By my appointment time, there was still no update for when a tech would be available. (I will say they came by twice to ask if I wanted something to drink which was very polite.) However, 20 minutes after my appointment time, a tech came to start on the client next to me, who had not even specify which service/nail color type they wanted, and I was no closer to having my nails done. When, 30 minutes after my appointment time, someone did come to help me out, the young lady slowly sat, nodding her head toward the client leaving, and had a good little laugh with the receptionist and the tech next to me. I don't know what she said, and usually I don't mind since that's expected, but I do know that she still was only just starting to soak my nails after I'd been there for half an hour (+ the early arrival time before my appointment since I hate to be late, it's rude.) I was left soaking my nails for 15 minutes, and it was not until after I had already scrubbed all the dip off myself that a lady scurried over and asked if it was already done. Finally, she pointed a tech in my direction and I got what I actually came for. When my nails were finally done, and ONLY when it was time to pay, did anyone apologize for the long wait. Ana did a wonderful job on my nails, I would return for her but not for the salon itself. If you go, ask for her, but don't bother with an appointment. read more
