I forgot who took care of me and did my nails but she was very sweet and nice and patient and meticulous with her work. She is very cute and has spunky glasses and I recommend this technician as she took her time and checked in with me during each step of the way of getting my nails done. I don't get my nails done often but on occasion when i do, i like to treat myself and this was well worth it and I'm used to having my hair get caught underneath my nails after about a week and a half but these nails have lasted a long time and I type on the computer every single day for work and school and these have not broke or weakened and my hair hasnt gotten stuck and that for me is the true test of amazing work and an awesome technician. Two different people worked on my nails - took forever, the second person who took over had airpods In the entire time and didn't check with me on any process of the manicure. Didn't check on nail shape, color, etc. Had to put on my own sandals, and remove the cotton. Toddler laying on the floor on the way to the bathroom with their iPad on full volume - so that wasn't relaxing. Saw one customer accidentally kick the toddler. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to downgrade my rating after my last few visits. I hate doing this because most of the girls working there are super nice. However, I have given them more than one chance, and each time my shellac gel starts peeling off within the first week (see my pic), which is unacceptable in my opinion. I might as well get regular polish! I've been getting shellac for years from other places, and gel usually lasts for a good 3 weeks on my nails. Not from here though. Yes, they do take their time and make the experience as organic as possible. Yes, they have some nice nail polish colors. Yes, they can do some cool designs and styles. But when I'm sitting there for over 2 hours and paying almost double from my regular place, I'd expect perfection in every way. Sadly, each time I walk away with slightly lumpy gel which starts coming off way too soon. At that point, I've been there long enough. Plus, there are no massage chairs or TVs, which I understand adds to the minimalistic and modern atmosphere of the place, but is a little painful after sitting there for so long. Also, the last time I called to make an appointment, the girl had a slightly snippy attitude, but this was just an isolated incident. Hopefully, they can figure things out sooner rather than later so they can be consistent with their results across the board for all their patrons, because they seem to love what they do with a passion! read more

This place is super cute! The chairs are wooden benches and they use these white bins to soak your feet. They're not the typical massage spa chairs you sink into. The place is bright and airy and super hip. There are two walls of colors you can choose from, along with shellac and nail designs. Great atmosphere, though not the relaxing so you can sleep and get a massage type place. The mani/pedi was good. The lady was super nice. I can't say their foot massage or even shoulder massage was good - but it's a nail place. I wish they put a little more ommphh in it and it was a little longer than just tiny squeezes for like 2 mins. My nails are looking good - shellac mani and normal pedi. I just had my nails done 2 weeks prior so I suppose there wasn't much cuticle to work with, so they didn't spend much time on that. I usually judge a nail place by how long my shellac will last - so will definitely update if it's not at least 2 weeks. I'll also say they're a bit pricier than the normal place by about $10ish. Biggest issue with this place: cleanliness. I went in for a gel manicure. These are the issues: -They used these weird plastic clips to hold your cotton ball in place to remove your old gel. They had clearly been on lots of people's fingers and not disinfected before placed on me. -They seemed annoyed when I asked if they had sterile nail tools. Nail tech was just going to use the same nail cutter and other tools she had used on who knows how many other people. -As I looked around, place was dirty. -The manicure was $35. When I went up to pay, surprise! They told me it was an extra $5 for gel removal, which is fine, but tell me upfront...like when I called to ask how much you charge for a gel manicure. Even when I got a idea which was extra l, Dripped nails & spa had more than enough materials to accommodate and create my vision. The environment was very welcoming, not your typical nail salon interior and energy. Having high stock of materials used for nail or beauty purpose, a diversified staff team and a minimalistic urban interior theme with a nice view of Westheimer, all made the experience very comforting. I really want to believe in this nail salon because of the how close & convenient it is from my home and how cool of a salon it is. Good customer service! But My nails never last as long as expected. First time I went, I got a gel set that only lasted a day & quickly started chipping away as if it was just regular polish. I went back two days later & was able to get all of the chipped ones done, free of charge. (Which I was not expecting and paid for through tip anyway because I felt bad in coming two days later as if it was my fault the polish was chipping so early). Because of that I recently went again & got a dipped set and pedi. I didn't know that I couldn't get my previous dipped set refilled because I have gotten it done before & I thought that was a great idea & what made dip healthier and more beneficial than an overlay. Because of constant overlays & nail filling my nails are now thinner. My pedi looks, in my opinion, bad!! I don't know why is the polish like this but I can't explain it, you will just have to look at the picture. One of my big toe nails are round and one is square and the polish..... I'm not happy, especially paying $95+ for such work and that's not all that happened but covers the key points. My friend and I went in the other day. She had an appointment, I did not. There was a tech who helped my friend right away but I had to wait another 20 minutes or so before being helped. My pedicure was good so no complaints besides the long wait time. My friend on the other hand was very disappointed with her nails. The original tech who started doing her nails was attentive but then for some reason was called away. Another tech took over and that's when the quality went down. The tech did not paint the rainbow colors in the right order. The whole experience was bizarre. The nail technician's husband was also there and hovered over her the entire time. It was uncomfortable because we didn't want to complain since her husband was proudly watching her. I highly recommend Dripped. I having been coming here for almost a year. I usually have my nails done by Kim, but have also gone to Dylan. They both do an incredible job and are willing to do pretty much anything you ask for! Their nail art and attention to detail is amazing. They are both very sweet but don't talk you ear off, actually all of the technicians are very friendly and chatty. The salon isn't over the top fancy, which is fine by me. It is in a cute little white building. For the quality of the work and products they use, the prices are very reasonable. My nails last longer with their products than anywhere else I've ever gone. My favorite place in inner Houston to get my nails done. I've been coming here for years. Kim is great but so is Jackie she does cute and funky nail designs. When you get your nails done here they last for weeks my last set was on for about six weeks just because I didn't have time to go get them redone but not one broke or cracked. I've been wanting to come here for forever now and finally got the chance to make an appointment. I did one online and even sent in a photo of what I wanted done. I received a confirmation text the day before, which I thought was nice. I arrived to the shop the day of and the girls tell me that there is no one there to do the nail art that I wanted. I thought, if you knew this why not tell me before I came in. It would've been more professional if you saw the appointment ahead of time and told me if you were capable of doing what I wanted instead of waiting for me to come in and having to change my mind especially when I set my appointment days in advance. My nail tech was Diem, she didn't talk much, but she wasn't rude. I didn't know what I wanted to do; so I opted for something simple. I just chose to get some simple colors. The whole process took over 2 hours. I've never sat for that long before especially for something so simple. I've sat under an hour and got more intricate designs done elsewhere. I've also never had my cuticles cut so much before. Upon further evaluation of my nails, I noticed multiple small bubbles and some nails were lumpy. When viewed at eye level, the polish wasn't placed on evenly. I could see some parts being elevated and some were flat. Overall, the results were disappointing. I've had better results for a better price. It's safe to say that I won't be coming back. I was so sure I was going to love this place and it was going to be my new nail go to, but sadly that was not the case. If only they called me before and told me they were unable to do my design I would've found a simpler design, but when I came in expecting to get something and they were not able to deliver I was surprised and didn't know what to choose from there. Oh well, on to the next salon~ 2 weeks later: The bottom of my nails are chipped because they didn't brush the ends of my nails when they were polishing and the edges are still a bit rough. Amazing place if you want something specific and want to treat yourself. I went today wanting to try an almond shape and powder technique for the first time. My technician did a great job helping me choose a color and shape that worked for me. He was meticulous in shaping them which I loved because I am a bit ocd about my nails being symmetric and consistent. It ended up being $50 for powder nails, I think some part of that was for shaping. I will note that there isn't a massage or anything in the powder manicure. But I was okay with that today. I do recommend making an appointment. There's a gravel parking lot right next door. Will definitely be back! read more
