Neutral :l My first time here I got the black gel French manicure with jewels and it was an amazing experience. The manicure turned out beautiful and lasted over 3 weeks! I got so many compliments on it and was super happy with my service. I went back today (my second time) to get a gel manicure. Overall the tech was pretty rough with filing my gel off my nails. My nail plate is sore and the damage is visible as you can see the drill burns on my nail plate. I don't know that I'll return, which sucks because my first experience was so good :( read more

I sat here for two hours for possibly the worst nail experience i've ever had. The workers were very calm and friendly overall. I walked in for French tip manicure and pedicure. It was so bag/ugly I ended up asking her to simply do a full white color which still looks horrendous. My cuticles and skin were constantly knicked and shaved down by their shaping machines. I had to leave without getting my toes done because the experience was so frustratin. This is definitely not what I asked for. I paid $55 to have bulky looking veneers on my fingers. It took everything in me to not go back inside and just ask them to undo everything I absolutely hate these nails. read more

The staff was so helpful and my mani pedi was so cute and cheap! As I was getting my pedicure, I showed the staff like 3 different gel swatches and described what it wanted. I figured they'd just do whatever when it was time for the manicure, but they were so great and came back with a new (perfect) swatch to make sure it was what I wanted. And warned me that the cat-eye gel was a little extra -- $38. My jaw dropped and I tried not to blurt out, "That's still insanely cheap!" Cat-eye gel nails and a pedicure for $66? I was shocked when I paid. I can't wait to go back and try new colors. Oh, and they got the shape perfect. The request of, "Kind of almond and stiletto but not too pointy." Usually doesn't end with the best results. They made my dream nails a reality. I walked-in around 3 pm on a Tuesday (I had a day off and was seen immediately), but it started to get chaotic around 4:30 and they got nonstop calls booking appointments. Both the people took their sweet time in cleaning and polishing my nails AND as a bonus, hand and foot massages are included. It was such a treat! I am very happy with my experience at this nail salon! I was visiting from out of town and needed a mani-pedi and did a walk-in and even though they were pretty busy and everyone there had made appointments, they still managed to help me right away. I just got a French manicure and pink toenails but I think this is one of my favorite French manicures that I have ever gotten. I really like how my nails look and they managed to resolve some cuticle issues that I have been struggling with for a while. Service was great! The nail techs are extremely friendly and did a great job with my nails. The owner of the salon was very welcoming as well and made sure to double check my nails before I left. I also think the price for the services are very reasonable. I highly recommend this nail salon if you are in the downtown Houston area. Ivy never fails me. Years later and she still does my nails perfectly. I NEVER have an issue with Ivy or Van's work. Always 2 weeks or longer on my nails. My nails grow out super fast so I can't really push it out any longer than that. I come from Spring to get my shellac manicures done by them and I never regret the drive. Second time coming. First time, they were very busy but got me in in a timely manner - completely ignored my gel color selections and when I pointed it out, ignored me. I let that go because the overall quality of the service was decent. Now I've arrived to a far less busy shop and the techs meeting me at the door saying they're "too busy" to get me in (they close in 2hrs) with no possible wait time. The furnishings are older and out of date. Overall, it just did not have a nice feel to it. My manicurist was a bit rough with me as well and hurt me a couple of times. I got a shellac mani. The pic I posted is 2 weeks later, so the work has held up pretty well. I got a mani and pedi and it took the woman 1.5 hours....due to the time it took, I also thought it would contribute to the quality of my manicure.
