I have been a loyal client of Glass Nail Bar for over five years, spending over $300 a month and consistently paying a $50 deposit to secure appointments with master technician Jennie. Because of my long-standing history with this salon, I am thoroughly shocked, confused, and disappointed by how I was treated during my recent visit. My appointments were scheduled for 5:00 PM (pedicure) and 5:30 PM (full set with Jennie). While my pedicure started on time, Jennie was running 45 minutes late. When she finally approached me, she appeared visibly frustrated and upset presumably carrying over stress from her previous client and unfortunately took that frustration out on me. We sat down, reviewed the reference photo I brought, and agreed on the design. Just three minutes into removing and filing my old nails, Jennie abruptly asked, "What did you book for?" I replied that I booked for a French tip. She said nothing further in the moment, but when I politely followed up to ask why she had inquired, she snapped with an attitude: "Next time, book for a design." I addressed her tone directly, asking why she was being condescending. I explained that the front desk considers French tips a design, and reminded her that she was already 45 minutes late for my appointment an appointment I pay top dollar for. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Jennie stormed off to the front desk. When she returned, she announced, "Yeah, I won't be doing your nails. Somebody else will." I refused to have another technician perform the service. I book specifically with a master technician and pay a mandatory $50 deposit for Jennie's services. I stated that if Jennie would not fulfill the service, I expected my $50 deposit to be refunded immediately. At this point, the manager stepped in and offered to assign another technician. I reiterated that I pay a 50 dollar deposit specifically for a master technician, not a random reassignment. The manager then agreed to process a refund for my deposit. However, this left me in a worse position: my original nails were already partially filed down, the service I came for was completely cancelled after a 45-minute wait, and a card refund takes several business days to process. After the technician finished my pedicure, I was deeply upset by the blatant disrespect and the massive waste of my time. I gathered my things and walked out. The manager then chased me outside, demanding payment for the pedicure. I pointed out that the salon was still holding my $50 deposit (as the refund had not settled) and that the primary reason for my visit was ruined due to their staff's unprofessionalism. Rather than de-escalating the situation, taking accountability for their late start, or apologizing for their master technician's refusal to complete my service, the management chose to escalate matters further by calling the police and holding my car keys not allowing me to leave!!!!! read more

This was my first time here and it won't be my last! The inside is sooo cute! It was like crazy busy when I walked in in the morning but the wait with my reservation wasn't long at all. They had a really long table where clients were getting their nails done and along the wall people were getting pedicures and manicures at the same time. Christy was my nail tech and she is a true artist! I showed her 3 different pictures and made my nails better than what I wanted! She free handed the designs and they are so beautiful. I got multiple cateye shades. I really couldn't capture how good they are with pictures or video. She gave me the best set I've ever had! Y'all are just gonna have to catch my nails in person. I went to Gloss for the first time ever for a Pedicure. I ended up getting the Jello Shot Pedicure with Gel polish for $90 (including tip) during their early bird special with Taylor. She was really kind, thorough and did a great job. It was very busy and even with an appointment, I did have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The valet was very fast and a nice touch. They also offer you a variety of colors to choose from and a variety of beverages for you to enjoy while getting your service. My pedicure also came with an extended shoulder massage and that was a great added touch. If you go for a pedicure, book with Taylor because she's definitely worth the wait! read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Gloss. Parking is very tight but they offer complimentary valet, which is a HUGE plus. I like that they provide a cup with a lid for beverages because I'm always worried about the various dust and chemicals flying into my drink. The space itself is very chic and well-decorated, however, it is so crowded that it doesn't feel as relaxing as I would have liked. My tech was friendly and assisted me with color selection. The pedi itself was very well done. The highlight for me is that they time their pedicures. It's a selling point because at some salons I pay extra for a deluxe with 20 minute massage and barely get 5. So this is why I will keep returning here, because I know that I am getting what I paid for. read more

Solid pedicure! A very nice nail salon. I should've asked for harder pressure on my foot/leg massage but I didn't, so that's on me. My toenails came out beautifully. I wish there wasn't valet parking because it's a huge hassle to get from the busy street into a crowded parking lot and wait your turn.
