New management has meant a lot of the worn aspects of this salon have been addressed. Their process around check-in/out seems smoother. They've always given a great pedicure (clean, carefully done) with great massages. I recommend the hot stone! Now the ambiance is a lot nicer. read more

I have been coming to Citris for over 10 years. They do a great job, have a clean facility, and are always so nice and accommodating. If ever I have an issue with a nail service or don't love something, they are quick to fix it! Luna makes my feet feel brand new! She's super attentive to any nail or cuticle issues and has a super gentle touch!! read more

Luna is always great with my manicures. Great attitude. Hanna did a good job with a pedicure!

I've been going to my nail technician Luna for a while now, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. She's meticulous, gentle, and truly cares about the health of my nails. My manicures always last, the shaping is flawless, and she somehow remembers every little detail about what I like. The studio is clean, relaxing, and never rushed. If you want someone who takes pride in their craft, she's the one! Bonus is the new drinks menu read more

I have been coming here since 2019, and I have loved my manicure and pedicure every single time!! I had a pedicure here yesterday and it was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The girl who started my service was clearly brand new and did not know what she was doing. At one point, someone else had to come in and take over, and she was visibly annoyed -- she became very rough with me and appeared very irritated with the other girl. It was extremely awkward and unprofessional. On top of that, my nails are cut unevenly and one of my toes was left bleeding because the original tech buffed my skin for about 30 seconds. I also have bruises from the massage because she used her knuckles to beat my shins over and over again as opposed to actually massaging me. This was a 45-minute pedicure that lasted two hours. She rushed the polishing at the end and sat with a portable fan desperately trying to dry my toes because she took allllll the way until closing time (my appt was at 4:00). This was the worst experience I've ever had. I left feeling super uncomfortable and not at all relaxed. I will be getting my money back and will not be returning. The only positive was the girl who did my dip manicure was lovely and gentle and my manicure does look incredible. read more

I wish I could leave 0. This was absolutely the worst experience. I showed Exactly what I wanted. They didn't even have the correct colors or tools. So she kinda just did what she wanted on my Nails... then charged an extra 15 to shape and file.... Like? Is that not what you have to do when you do nails. Not even complaining about the price tbh. But at least shape and file correctly. read more

Ugh Idk what's going on with Forney nail salons but fix it Jesus! I was SO hopeful about treating my boo to a spa day, we had a REALLY talkative man giving her pedicure and long story short, got an infection on a big toe and had to get antibiotics from the doctor!!! We usually go downtown to Nail Bar which is pricier but so far seems worth the trek and the price! I also had a great experience first with my nail dip but the lady was gone when I requested her! The woman who worked on me did not file the shape I wanted and a dip set with coffin shape is so easy I've done it at Home before! If anyone in my area sees this review and can recommend a trustworthy nail tech that I can start requesting when I can't go downtown I would really appreciate that - cheers! read more

I came here today to get my pre-birthday nails before my trip tomorrow to Japan. I made my nails look like an early Christmas bling (haha). The two fabulous ladies who helped me today were fantastic! I forgot their name, but they were lovely and cared for me during my mani and pedi. I got the deluxe pedicure and the dip for my manicure. The service was excellent, and you can also get complimentary drinks during your stay. There is a free parking spot in the shopping center. read more

Decided to come here at last minute since I wanted to get my nails done urgently for Christmas. I called about an hour before I came in and made sure that someone in the salon knew how to do ombré nails. I was then able to set up an appointment (they also take walk-ins). When first getting here, the appearance of the salon is very nice and clean. I was also serviced right away. Even though the tech that it was going to be doing my nails wasn't ready yet, one of the other techs was able to start working on my nails by removing the acrylic and gel polish I had on before. In the end, pricey for just nails but it was a good job. Also wish they knew how to do more designs on gel nails than dip. The guy said for some of the designed I wanted, I absolutely had to do dip (which I believe to be untrue). read more

I was new to manicures and pedicures as an older man but decided it made sense to take better care of myself. I selected this place at the recommendation of my female barber nearby. I've been here about 6 times and try to tip well because it's hard work cleaning another person's neglect. The people who do the direct work are pleasant but their investment in their work varies a great deal, from exceptional to poor. For instance, in a recent visit a service for 2 with a listing of 30' each, quickly became about 10' each and a need to address errors myself when returning home. Another time, the pedicurist spent extra time attending to the massage. I have mixed experiences here. Good luck! read more

The WORST manicure experience EVER- Citrus Nail Spa! They do what they feel like while talking non-stop amongst themselves and not once checking on the client. She put a bright YELLOW color on my nails without asking if this is what I wanted- she just assumed. Good nail salons ask before proceeding. Here they are so busy talking amongst themselves that you as a client pretty much is non existent. A mani/ pedi is supposed to be a relaxing experience. Both the pedicure and the manicure process was rough on my nails and hurt me too. Not one apology for painting my nails bright yellow. Totally unprofessional staff! There are very many better salons that are luxurious and professional to get your money and your times worth. read more

My mom and I came here because we had gift certificates from Christmas 2023, and we couldn't use them because it had been too much time. That was fine, and we didn't mind paying. We sat under the dryers for about 5 minutes after we paid. As we were getting in the car, two employees came rushing out with the rudest expressions, asking if we had paid. One of them was the same person we had helped my mother check out. When I told them yes, we had already paid, they just walked inside and didn't apologize for the misunderstanding. I get asking questions, but coming at me all accusatory and then not even apologizing is unacceptable. read more

SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, AND IT'S AFFECTING BUSINESS. I will not return and will not recommend to friends in the area. I came and got a shellac manicure (expensive, $40) and classic pedicure ($30) on a Saturday, and by the following Tuesday the gel on one of my nails had started lifting because they weren't sealed correctly - not even a week long. My shellac from Milano ($38) down the street can last up to 4 weeks without lifting or chipping. I called to see if they could remedy this, and the guy who works front desk told me I could come in Friday morning to have it fixed. I came in and was told it would be at least an hour wait by a very stressed looking nail tech - amongst all other stressed looking nail techs. She also said they don't make appointments for fixing nails (fair...) but that I could come back later and maybe it'll be better by then. That was a bit frustrating given that the gel manicure was not cheap, and I was told over the phone by a woman named Mindy that the SINGULAR gel nail should take no more than 5 minutes to fix. It's not like I had acrylic nails or something complex. Overall, this place needs to staff up ASAP because when I came Saturday, the nail techs were joking out loud about being understaffed (I felt sorry for them about that), and there was at least one other customer who was upset about having to wait 30 mins for someone to free up despite having an appointment already. read more

I really like this place a lot. I drive in town to come, a little pricy. I believe it's pricey to match the area. They have a massage chair you sit in, and out petals in the water for your pedicure. Decent color selection. I will say that I'm not crazy about them cutting skin around the cuticles for my nails. So if you don't like something definitely speak up! I don't have a particular lady that I really like just yet. But there are some very talented ladies in here. I just don't have the names. They do decent work, and get the job done read more

Used to love this place but I will never be back. I had ASTRO nails done the week of the World Series in October. By the time I went to the 2nd game of the series my nails were chipped after spending over $100. (Gel chipped after 2 days, toes chipped that night). I messaged about it but they didn't answer. I was mad so I didn't go back until January. I repeatedly told the nail tech my gel didn't look right and asked if she sealed it. She insisted she did. Well. She didn't. If you are lucky enough to get an OG tech, you are probably ok. But with how expensive this place is and the decline in quality, after being a loyal client of 8 years... I am looking elsewhere. read more

Honestly I don't know why I keep coming here. It's one of those "familiar" type of things. I leave paying $75 for a shellac mani and a pedi. Like holyyyy.... They charge me $5 to take off the gel that they put on me two weeks ago. Absurd. I don't understand this practice at all because logically- are customers supposed to take off their gel before they arrive at the salon? The receptionist has the craziest RBF and it matches all the interactions I've had with her Per my previous review this use to be my regular spot, I always had nice interactions with the owner Mindy and Amanda at the front was always peppy and friendly. There are some great details that I commend but I think this was probably my last time coming here. There's cheaper competition nearby who also do a great job. The nail techs are all over the place. I've had times where I've left so happy with the shape, cleaning but I just left and looked under my nails and there's polish all over my skin and she didn't clean under my nails at all. Yikes read more

This has to be the best nail salon in the heights! I made my appointment at 6:30pm. Arrived a bit early, and was greeted right away and given all the gel colors to start my process. I booked with Cindy for a full set, she was very knowledgeable and suggested length and shape to suit my hands. She was very quick soaking off my last set of acrylic and very attentive to details. All their staff was very sweet and the manager constantly checked up on me to see if everything was ok. We ended up doing a long ballerina set with gel #555 on top. See photo below for her work. Superior Job! I'm more than happy and will be returning. read more

My new nail spot! Last minute wanted to try a new place. They fit me in pretty close before closing and I got a full set + paragon wax & stone massage pedi...and they didn't cut any corners either! My treatment and service was TOP NOTCH. Giselle did my pedi--such a great foot & leg massage. She was just above and beyond--on every level! She gave me some files to-go & instructions on how to help keep my calluses down until my next pedi. And, after I'd already picked a color that I thought was right--she went the extra mile by recommending another color that she thought may be closer to the picture that I brought in & even went and grabbed the bottles to apply them on my 2 nails, so I would be better able to see & decide. And Jasmin did my manicure--making it as close to the picture as possible. She was quick but very attentive to detail and also did a great job of checking throughout to ensure I was happy with each step of the way. Also, I prefer regular nail polish on my toes (because it costs less & it stays well), but shellac or powder on my fingers & it's normally such a hassle to find exact matching colors--often times--they just end up being similar shades . I was THRILLED to hear that I could pick one color from their nail books/samples & they would have that exact color for every option I wanted! So easy! Highly, highly recommend this Citris Nails Spa. Ask for Giselle & Jasmin!! read more

Did a walk in eyebrow wax and Jasmine did a phenomenal job! I waited just a few minutes before being greeted and situated to the wax chair. The place was clean and shortly after, Jasmine came by and did her thing. The wax was hard wax with strips which I'm used to and prefer as they get my baby hairs out. After a quick 10 mins, she was done and I was on my way out. I think I've found my new eyebrow spot here in the heights! I'm curious about their nails too. read more

Vivian did my nails on today. I am not happy with my nails. She changed my nail shape from round to pointy, almond nails. She tried her best but for $50 for a refill I'm so disappointed. It pains me to leave a bad review, I'm pro small business especially in the service industry. Loved this salon in the beginning, started noticing more and more they made me feel unwelcome, especially if I didn't have an appt. The techs are VERY nice, but can be a little rough on your nails and rush the process. Front desk seems annoyed at walk ins. Overall this is not the luxurious experience I like in a manicure, there are much better places to go. read more

Good enough. I went in for a gel mani and my nails were cut entirely too short as the tech seemed to want to keep them uniform- ended up sacrificing comfort. Environment was nice, though some details/cleanliness was lacking. read more

They made an appointment and I were there on the time. So owner Alex came around 10 am and I wait for them 1 hours because nobody knows I will come over for fixing nails. She was so rude and treat me like I am a hard person and she actually humiliated her employees because she said I have high standard and nobody's make you happy here. She just put some glue on my nails and I asked you are gonna fix like that and she said yes. But her sister told me she will fix this and Alex said she isn't her sister and she didn't kept her sister promises and also she told me my sister haven't seen your nails. The quality of services here is amazing, and the prices are really reasonable for the area! They have a huge selection of colors, dips, and acrylic. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! I arrived at 6:45 PM and asked if they accepted walk ins and of course they did, they walk me into get my eyebrows waxed which took about 8 minutes and when I come out they tell me that they can no longer do my nails because no one wanted to stay passed 7:30. Mind you I walked in with my mother whom they sat down to do her nails and her pedicure as I am sitting here just watching. What type of business does this. I know it's just nails but, you don't tell someone that you can do they're nails and have them sit and wait while they only do the person that they came with. You know when you walk in with your girlfriend it's either both or we schedule it for another day. Then when I go to the manager he says he never told me that. I was just kind blown. As I then proceed to continue to tell him how unfair he is being He continues to say he never told me that I would have them done and that they could refuse service to anyone. I told him to calm down that I was only stating the facts. He is a nervous wreck at this point I told him there was no need for that. I was just a little shocked that they would do this just to fill a seat, but then again it is a nail salon. I felt as a small business owner my self i would have never treated a customer the way that he did. It's employees like him who give any business a bad name. read more
