My nail tech was polite, professional, and did an amazing job on my dip gel manicure. My nails look absolutely lovely -- top-tier work! But what really stood out to me was the customer service. When the manager checked me out at the front desk, she let me know about the new-client discount on services and even gifted me some cuticle oils. Now, that's what I call good business! Easy parking and super friendly staff. I was able to walk in without any wait, which was a big plus. The space is cute and nicely decorated (there's even a fish tank), and while some of the furniture shows a little wear, everything felt clean and organized. The $35 pedicure was honestly a great deal for the quality--I was really happy with how it turned out. My shellac manicure looked perfect at first (Friday and Saturday), but by Sunday three nails were already lifting. By Tuesday, eight out of ten were lifting or pretty chipped. They do have a 10-day warranty, so I went back and got them redone for free, which I appreciated. That said, during the redo, three of my cuticles were cut badly enough to bleed, and even a few days later the redness and scabbing kind of take away from the overall look. My eyebrows also ended up slightly uneven, which I didn't notice until I got home and had to fix myself. Overall, there were definitely some positives, but with so many other salons around, I probably wouldn't come back based on this experience. read more

I had a really great experience here overall. The salon is spotless, welcoming, and well run. From start to finish, the service felt attentive, and the staff made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. One standout detail was the hot tea. It was absolutely amazing. I had two glasses and was honestly a little addicted. It was so good that I would genuinely buy it to go if that were an option. Little touches like that really elevate the experience. I also loved that they provide cuticle oil at the end of the service. It smelled incredible and seemed like very good quality, which I truly appreciated. The location is convenient, with open parking in a shared plaza, making it easy and stress free to get in and out. Pricing feels fair for the quality of work and overall service. I've now been here twice, and the second visit was largely the same positive experience. The nails came out great again. The only downside was that the nail tech I had the second time smelled strongly of cigarettes, which took away slightly from the experience. I also had to return a few days later to fix one nail, which they did handle. That said, I would still go back. Next time, I would simply request the first set of technicians I had, as that experience stood out the most. Overall, this is still a place I would recommend and plan to continue visiting. read more

I have come here multiple times to get my nails done because it's not too far from where I work. They are always friendly as some other reviewers have said. It is also true that you can expect to get cut on your cuticles on your visits. The pedicures are fine - $35 Manicure with french tips NOT GOOD- $85 There is no care in what some nail "artists" do, I can't speak for everyone who works there, just my experiences with some of them. I will be going elsewhere from now on because i've learned my lesson enough times. The last visit I spent $200 and was not satisfied with the nails then either. read more

Update 16 days later... most of the chrome has come off ($20 up charge) and the builder gel is chipping and cracking. They are really clean which gives them the 3 stars- and I wanted to love it. I ended up coming back to get them reshaped but they are still not the best looking and they were confused as to what was wrong with them. I also had to come back to repaint a toe. The place seems like people love it and they are huge with plenty of people. Not sure if I can give them another try for $100. I went in to get a full set of nails with a gel builder overlay and a basic pedicure. They were out of the color that I wanted on my nails and feet. So I went with a French manicure on my nails in a white milky light frost on my toes. I enjoyed the vibe in the salon. It was very chilled and they have good wine. Overall my experience was great. They hit me in quickly and my pedicure was ok. It could be more straight along the bottom and sides to look more professional. But it's decent. My color powder fill on my nails is nice. Looks good. I do think they nickel and dime you and charge for every little things but that's becoming the norm. They were nice and polite. The benefit of coming here is that you can walk right in and always get service, they offer you a drink, and there is plenty of parking. The downside is that it almost feels like a factory and the nail technicians are speeding through the service. I used to come here regularly but have since left to a different salon where they clearly tok time cutting cuticles, filing, etc. I decided to give Palazzio another shot this past week and was again dissatisfied. The person doing my pedicure didn't listen to my request to soak off instead of file off and with file machine my old gel (again trying to get by with quickest option), left cuticles hanging off nail, and injured other nail by filing with file machine too aggressively. If you want to go to a quaint salon where it feels like you aren't just in a sea of customers this is not the place for you. read more

I didn't have an appointment and they were super accommodating event it being a weekend before a major holiday. I chose to get a gel manicure and pedicure. They were fast and efficient for the most part. I had some smudging with my manicure but the staff attempted to cover with a clear coat which didn't work out too well. I think the gel didn't cure all of the way. I don't like to complain so unfortunately didn't say anything. I chose an a color outside of my typical color palette. Love going to this location. It is centrally located and they have other shops to walk too (Marshalls, TJMaxx, JCrew Factory, etc...) I have tried many different nail techs and currently I highly recommend Evie or Stephanie for pedicures and Kelly or Lee for manicures. They are all diligent, sweet and easy to talk to. The place offers a variety of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Their color selection is vast and they can definitely help pick a color for any occasion. Tried this salon for the first time, so perhaps I was just unlucky. However, both technicians seemed rushed during my manicure and pedicure. I had a hard gel infill on my hands and asked for a very natural look, especially since I have small hands and nails, but the gel was applied very thick and bulky. My toe polish was also ruined because it hadn't fully dried, and the pedicure I selected included a 15-minute massage that felt very rushed and was barely done. It was more like a quick back rub while another technician was working on my hands, which made it difficult for her to do the massage properly without shaking my hand. read more

I finally had to ask someone else what was going on, and that's when I found out she didn't speak any English, which is fine but has I known I would have had someone translate first. I asked for a refund as my nails looked worse leaving than coming in, and the manager tried to offer me a 15% discount for the next time. Absolutely not. I tip more than that. She told me I was "wasting" her time after I asked if I could change the color then in a condescending tone told me "it'll just come off anyway". Beware! They up charge for everything. A refill on my short natural nails was $60. Not to mention she lightly shaped my nails before applying the acrylic then filed my nails to the shape REMOVING all the polish from the sides of my nails. The woman who did my nails was rough and nicked me multiple times with a drill!!! I told her how the polish was completely missing from the sides and then filed down 1 nail a remove just the top coat??? I told them as I left, and they said NOTHING! Do not come here! read more

I normally use the Katy Pallazzio location but decided to use this one in a pinch. They are almost 30 miles from my home, but they are one of the few places that offer Gel-X, and they have a 10 day repair warranty. I asked for square round nails, which the technician applied. After she was done, she informed me that normally, there would be an upcharge because the nail shape was considered coffin, which is apparently more expensive, and that there should also be an upcharge for the long length (see pic; they're neither coffin-shaped nor especially long) but that she was going to cut me a break and not charge me. Again, she told me these things AFTER my nails were finished--never mentioned a thing before she did them. Considering the normal gel-x is already a hefty $70, I was thankful. However, when I went to check out, I was charged $85. When I questioned the cashier, I was told that was the price of the service I was given. I have never paid more than $70 at the Katy location. Fast forward to a week later and three nails were lifting at the cuticle. I drove back to the salon only for the tech to apply acrylic nail glue under the lifting nails instead of re-doing them! I was shocked because my regular location would never take such a short cut. When I voiced my concern and that I had actually tried the glue method myself with a previous Gel-X manicure and it didn't last, she informed me I just "hadn't done it right" and sent me on my way. Two days later and guess what? One of the "repaired" nails is already lifting again. For $85 plus tip, I expect my manicure to last more than 11 days. Next time I will wait for availability at the Katy location. read more

The original woman who was supposed to do my nails said it would be $130, she ended up leaving and not doing my nails and the guy who came to do them said "oh if she said $130 that's okay. I treated my mom to a mani pedi for her birthday and let me tell you, from the second we walked in the vibes were completely off. Every color she picked wasn't available, her technicians gave her attitude and rushed her to "just pick a color," for the prices we were charged I would've thought there would be better service. We both did the Matcha Glow Pedicure, which includes a shoulder massage, and in that 5 minute massage, she was left with the biggest bruises on her back. The website clearly states first time customers receive a 10% discount and also 10% off for birthdays. Neither discount was honored. And when I asked about the complimentary cuticle oil, they told me I had to leave a 5 star review. Don't let these misguided ratings fool you, they just want to take your money and get you in and out. read more
