The front desk lady also said "well you didn't have to get French tips you could have just gotten your toes painted..." which yes duh I could have but I didn't want that. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? The manager walks around to quality check and they offer you with things to drink. I believe they also have some massage services and facial services too! Some salons can feel too small and crowded, but the wide layout of Infinity really helped to create a comfortable setting. It was 2 pm in the middle of the work week, so they were quick to take me without an appointment. The tech who removed my set was very quick and gentle. I didn't experience a single moment of burn. Tam did my nails, and she was amazing and so sweet. I was going to get dip powder at first, as I wanted something light and natural to help grow my nails out. However, after Tam explained the difference between dip and builder gel, I felt encouraged to give the latter a try. I'm glad I did, because it was exactly what I was looking for. My nails felt light and natural, but durable. Tam wasn't pushy with her recommendations either, and I appreciate being educated on better ways to maintain my nails. Another thing I noticed was how welcoming all of the staff were. They were chatting with customers like they were old friends, asking about the well being of family members and kindly gossiping. I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. My pedicure became an easy $100. Onto the quality of my nails. The quality was horrendous. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.
