My experience at the salon itself wasn't terrible, I got my nails done and was treated well. However within 5 days of getting my nails done the first nail popped off. I'm a student and was very busy during this time so I ignored it and used store bought nail glue to glue it back on. Then two days later another nail fell off. This continued until a few days later when I was finally able to call them. They asked me who my nail tech was and offered a free full set, however I didn't have the time to return and get it redone as I am a nursing student and cannot have my nails done once school starts. I requested a refund and was spoken to rudely as they refused to honor this. I did not feel like returning due to the experience with my nails and didn't want to risk the new set not coming off before I started my next semester in a week. Overall I would not recommend for a full set, however I have been for a pedicure before and they did well for that. The ambiance is very nice, it looks very fancy and is spacious. I asked for black stiletto nails when I got there, and the lady kept trying to talk me into doing a different color and a design, but I kept insisting that I just wanted a basic shellac acrylic stiletto set because I wanted to be in standards with my job. I ended up receiving a black powder coffin shaped acrylic. It was not at all what I asked for. I honestly will not be back at this place. The reason I asked for a stiletto shape in the first place was because that is the nail shape that doesn't break as easily for me. This nails salon is on first level of shopping plaza that also houses Panda Express, Salata and Buffalo Wild Wings. Parking is always tough in this area. The nails shop recently expanded and doubled in size. The interior decor is now nicer, with high ceiling and bright chandeliers. Upon entering, there's a long reception desk where the manager usually stands to greet clients. After asking what we wanted done, she told us to pick our colors and used her microphone to call some technicians out form the back. The techs came out from the back and led us to our appropriate chairs. My coworker had one lady do her mani and another lady work on her pedi at same time. I only needed a color change on my toes and the lady quickly cut, filed and painted mine in under 10 minutes. Where I usually go, it's typically $12 for a French color change, here it was $17. It was the fastest $17 I've ever spent in a nail salon. She was rushing through and did not spend any time correcting any areas where she painted outside of my nails and onto my toes. Seems like a decent nails shop for quick fixes but it's not somewhere I'd go for detailed service. read more

Wow this place was busy on a Friday at noon - I thought I was ahead of the rush cause I had a random Friday off but I was so wrong! Didn't realize so many people didn't work on Fridays and were thinking the same thing! Even though they were busy, they took me in right away cause the place had lots of chairs (probably at least 20) and a lot of workers! You go in and pick your color, there's a huge table with lots of shellac or dipped nail colors to choose from, or behind it, there's two towers full of normal polish! Love the selection! I chose my colors and because I was doing a shellac mani and a basic pedi, was lead to a massage chair! You know how most nail places that those controllers for their massage chairs?! This place has the controls built into the arm rest! Liking it! The wrap the tub with plastic for sanitary purposes and then you're good to go! The ladies didn't mess around and started on me right away! My mani and pedi were done at the same time and I've never had it go so quickly! The ladies did a good job for how quick they were, but the true test will lie in how long they actually last! I like that they give you a little shoulder massage after your mani as well! They try to up-sell everything though, which I didn't like.. it was an extra $5 for the normal Opi polish with the silver cap cause its shinier and lasts longer - say what?! It cost $60 for both mani and pedi.. a little on the pricier side compared to other places! They also kept asking if I wanted to extend the massage for extra costs - no! Just do my nails so I can be done and out of there! Overall, loved the job they did. Didn't like them trying to sell me things along the way and didn't like that the nail file and cutlery were not individual sanitized wraps - the lady just sort of dipped it in water after she was done with me - ack! I sure hope they sanitize everything between clients, but from what I saw, it was highly doubtful. Will probably come back again though cause of how convenient it is - especially if the nails last! Been going here for years so I absolutely hate giving a bad review, (especially when people work so hard) but I cannot imagine how Managment would allow the technician I just had to keep working when she is obviously sick. At first it was just a sniffle and a sneeze, and she got up and washed her hands, so I thought "okay". However as the manicure continued she was sniffling, sneezing and then WIPING HER NOSE WITH HER HAND more than once and CONTINUING my manicure. It was close to closing time, my shellac manicure was almost done and I just sat there in shock, holding my breath till I could leave. I looked around the room and noticed 2/3 of the techs had on masks. Then from across the room another unmasked tech was coughing and snorting. Then she asked me if I wanted a massage?!? Uh...NO! As soon as she was done I ran to wash my hands and now I'm praying I didn't catch anything and hoping she just had allergies. But YUCK. Will never go back. read more

I don't know... I've given this place a handful of chances with different outcomes each time. I'm still on the fence. My last experience was with a shellac manicure starting to chip within 48 hours! I got dip now to check it out, and so far so good. It definitely just depends on who you get. I'll rate higher or lower depending on how my future experiences go. The place is big, and overall very clean. I got a deluxe manicure with shellac. I was able to serviced right away. They have an enormous selection of colors to choose from. The tech who did my nails did a fine job with both the manicure and shellac portion. It did seem a little rushed though. I'm writing this review three days post manicure and I haven't had any problem with chipping. Sounds like part of your experience may be contingent on who is your tech. Decent experience here. Salon is nice and clean. I went during a lunch break for a simple pedicure. I told my technician I wanted the easiest and quickest pedi with no frills since I had limited time. She did a wonderful job but kept adding on extras (salt scrub and hot stones) when i explicitly said I did not want any extras. Instead of asking, she just applied the add ons and said "doesn't that feel good?!". I was unsure of what the end game was but the pedi was fine. Once I was finished, she wrote down my services to take to the front and there was a difference in the price of the pedi I selected from the menu and the final. She noted the salt scrub and hot stone was extra charge. Instead of arguing, I left. I may come back if I am in a pinch but the deceptive tactic to get extra dollars tacked on to a service was not appreciated. Beware! Two stars because the salon was clean and quiet and I got a decent pedi. However, I despise being deceived into paying more than a service I requested. read more

What a nice Sunday spending wonderful time at CC Nails. Kelly made whole classy set of acrylic skillfully in a timely manner. They're super glossy and natural. Will ask her to go crazy for diamonds bling next time (Sakura petals color mixed by Ha). If you don't like artificial nails, definitely ask for Kate to get your Shellac gel toe nails done for quick dry (that's why I'm confident to wear my sneakers). I'm so glad to try my first time here. I've been to this salon for pedicures a few times previously and had a good experience. I went this morning and it was not busy at all. The technician I had was nice, but when she got to the scraping of my feet, she scraped my heel completely raw. I thought I was just being sensitive because I haven't had a pedicure in a while. But it really burned and stung. She then went on to buff my foot, including the raw heel. I was too afraid to look at my heel until after I left. And the technician never said anything. When I got home, my flip flop had blood on it from where the heel bled the whole way home. I won't be returning. This was incredibly painful. The salon wasn't busy either so it's disappointing the technician didn't say anything or try to put even a band aid on my heel before allowing me to leave. I just hope this technician doesn't put anyone else through this kind of pain. read more

I have had varies experiences over the years. Some days they do excellent work and other times it's the worst. The last time for me was the dip, which costs a small fortune only for it to chip off 2 days later. I think the idea that you own many of these CC's at varies locations inside the loop & outside the loop - which I am positive these people are no doubt hardworking, but multi millionaires by now will eventually change anyones attitudes towards their customers, average people from all walks of life. This place is a well-oiled machine. Rows and rows of pedi thrones with nail technicians working hard and fast on tired, janky feet. Now if you know me, I've been a fan of Prestigious Nails in The Heights since 2010, but it's kinda out of the way for me, so I've made my last three or so mani/pedi appointments at CC Nails. They're slightly higher in price, but my gel manicures have lasted about three weeks (always use OPI gel polish). The one time a nail chipped after one day, I went back a week later and the ladies fixed it with no problem. Manicure includes a shoulder and neck massage. (I paid $27 for the gel mani, not including tip. I'll update my review with my pedi price once I go back!) Walk-ins welcome, but I rec an appointment on weekends. read more

Unsanitary and rude- I went in for a shellac polish. Pretty easy. The tech, Hana, started to paint my nails and another tech came over and they started talking about my only paint shellac decision. Hana clearly had allergies or a cold and literally went digging in her nose with her finger then back to my nails without gloves on or washing /sanitizing her hands. She messed up a nail and I pointed it out- she went to use cuticle clippers and I asked for them to be sterilized or to get some they were clean- the nail file she used on me was clearly old and had old polish on it. She got upset and refused to get sanitary clippers. Then another different tech came over and they talked about me as the other tech raised her eyebrows and looked at me several times as my tech was hashing out the story. I was polite the entire time, but who needs that? Rude and unsanitary? No thanks, too many good nail salons to put up with that. I'll go back to my regular place. read more

This is my go-to nail salon. They don't require appointments and there's never a wait, they always do a great job, and the price is SO affordable. Helen is my gurl. I always ask for her if she's working. All of their facilities are very clean and I think they take hygiene very seriously. They don't include a lot of the frills that the expensive salons do, like giving you drinks/wine when you enter... but for the price you can't beat them. read more

Stumbled here with my sister to escape the post thanksgiving shopping crowds everywhere else. As busy as this salon is, there's always plenty of technicians to service you without a wait. Plenty of shellac colors to choose from, and given the nice area, a shellac manicure plus a neck and shoulder massage for $27! I usually pay anywhere between $30-35 not including tip or a massage. My nail technician was Trish. She was very polite, professional, and TOOK HER TIME! What impressed me the most, was her technique in cutting my cuticles. Usually, the day after... I am left with hang nails from excessive cutting. But today, (a day later) my nails still look as great as they did when I left the salon. She uses a sweeping motion to carve the dead skin versus nipping and cutting. Painless! I requested to change my usual shape from square to oval round... And she executed perfectly! I usually go to CC Nails once a month, no matter who does my nails it's pretty good. But I went there today, and the lady Linda made me feel rushed and unwelcome. I had a feeling she was going to cut my finger and she did. She didn't seem to care and used an unknown product to put on my cut. Afterwards, she tried to keep putting the nail polish on. The nail kept bleeding and I told her to press the finger couple minutes to stop the blood. She didn't understand what I was saying and just kept trying to use the unknown product. As I was checking out, the owner(?), an Asian man, asked if I was ok. I told him the technician cut my finger. I showed him the cut, he offered me a band aid. Then charged me for a deluxe pedicure and manicure,$48. Which I do not feel I received. At this point I was so mad, angry, and upset I quickly paid and left. I regularly come here due to it's convenient location. Services and prices are comparable to most nail salons. They take reservations and walk-ins. CC's has had many changes over the years but they now occupy the space next door. The new space has a more contemporary feel to it compared to the old one. They started using individual foot tub covers between customers for sanitary purposes. The place gets packed but they constantly move people in and out without making you feel rushed.
