I recently moved to this area and I had been coming to this nail shop for a few months. I was satisfied with the service and appreciated that you could make appointments online, especially after COVID. Today I walked in, stated my name and informed the crew that I had made an appointment online. I was then met with rudeness, combativeness, and irritation with a technician stating, "no online appointments, we don't do that here." It also appeared that as I saw individuals walk in, all of the White patrons were greeted politely and the minorities were not greeted or even acknowledged. I've been coming here for pedicures for about 9 years because they are the BEST. You get a lot for your money and they do a good job. I don't live in Houston anymore but I visit frequently and this is ALWAYS a stop. Very relaxing and worth the upgrade to deluxe, everyone does a good job but Jessica is the best. Admittedly I'm a relative novice nail care aficionado, but my experience was: 1) loooong wait to get started despite not many clients. 2) overly aggressive cuticle trimming and pumacing resulting in redness and peeling for the next 10 days. 3) the shellac started chipping 3 days later and has continued to chip away every day since (10 days later). To be honest, my fingernails look worse now than they did before and my cuticles definitely have that raw, picked at look reminiscent of that kid in 1st grade I couldn't stand. And I have the extra hassle of needing to get rid of the shellac. :-( read more

I have been to several other nail salons in Houston but had yet to find one that I felt charged a reasonable price for the quality and service. I finally found it here! The salon is very large with plenty of chairs. I went late in the day on Sunday so I'm not sure how crowded it gets at peak times, but at 4:30 on a Sunday there were just a few other people there. They have magazines and 2 TVs to keep you entertained. Kelly did my pedicure and she really took her time. My toes look great. I treated myself to the deluxe pedicure which includes a scrub, a hot stone massage, paraffin, etc... which was really nice after a long weekend. Credit cards (except amex) accepted. read more

I will 100% never be coming here again. I came to get a refill and after the lady had already started she then asked me if I wanted to get a full set, even though my appointment was for a refill. I did not need a full set whatsoever so I did not like that she asked me that, it made me feel like she was just trying to get me to pay more. I told her in the very beginning I wanted the white to be thin (I was getting my French tip refilled) and she acted like she understood but once she finally started applying the white powder she did it so thick. Half of my nail was white. I told her that I did not want it that thick as I had told her many times before. She then threw my hand down and became frustrated. She also cut my finger causing it to bleed while trying to file my nails. I have been getting my acrylic nails done for the past 11 years and I have never had this bad of an experience. The price was ridiculously expensive. Even after the owner saw how terrible my nails looked. I got them done yesterday and will be going to a different nail salon this weekend to have them redone. I told her I wanted the white thinner and she did the white even thinner than this and when I told her I wanted a bit more she made the white a tiny bit more. I ended up just giving up. I'm not one to leave reviews but I can't not, share my experience here. I called a little before 1pm on a Sunday afternoon inquiring the wait time for two pedicures. I was told no wait and when I got there the salon was empty. (Great) My girlfriend started maybe 15 minutes before me however I sat next to her with warm water and it was not a problem. She loved the lady who did her nails and she did provide amazing customer service to my girlfriend and I. However, for Jessica (my nail tech) I cannot say the same. Every-time she spoke to me she hit my leg with her hand which I didn't like at all. It took her a little under two hours to do my pedicure, from stopping every 5 minutes to finish her conversation, to getting up to assist every other nail tech in the building and I didn't finish my pedicure until all most 3pm..... I mean, my sister and my friend are willing to wait for a girl named Trang. Trang didn't want to waste time so she took turns on my sister and friend back and forth after she was done with one step. It's not my choice of a salon but it's pretty cool that they have lots of different types of pedicures that have fruits, milks, teas. The prices are decent for pedicures that last about an hour. I have mixed feelings about C nails. The first time I went I absolutely loved it. The service was amazing, they have the most gel colors to choose from than any other nail salon I've been to, and my nails turned out great (and they lasted for a long time)! Excited that I had found my new spot to get my nails done, I made an appointment and rushed there after work to make it before closing. Unfortunately this visit was not nearly as impressive as my last. The service was alright but I could tell the employees were not taking it seriously and were ready to be done (I got there at 6:30 and they close at 7). They rushed through my nails and didn't allow my gel polish to sit long enough. My pedicure was not acceptable, as they barely scrubbed. Another customer was also talking to someone very loudly on speaker phone!! And no one politely asked her to hang up or at least take it off speaker. My nails ended up lasting about two days (gel is supposed to last weeks) and unfortunately due to my hectic work schedule I was unable to go back in. I guess it really just depends on the time of day you go and which employee is doing your nails. I will not be returning to C nails. read more

Such a great place! Warmly greeted by the staffers with a Hello. Asked for a Pedicure, showed me over to some clean and new looking Pedicure chairs. Excellent service, offered me wide range of drinks. Told them I had a certain time to be done, and they hit it on the nail. When went to pay, thought it was very good for the service. (Did I mention the shoulder massage!!!). While I won't be frequenting this place all that much, they know how to make a man comfortable in a sometimes uncomfortable environment for us guys! I went here in a whim so I wasn't expecting much, but I wasn't expecting to be assaulted by the cuticle clipper. I don't know if it gets worse than this place. They went cuticle clipper crazy on both my pedicure and mani. You should not have to use antiseptic to stop bleeding every other second. The way she polished my toes on my pedicure made it look like my toes had been polished for two weeks already and growing out. My shellac mani looks like my niece did it. This is the worst money I've ever spent. I didn't even want the massage at the end. I just wanted to leave. AWFUL!!! My mani is so sloppy, I'm embarrassed to go to my even with these nails. How do you clip past my cuticles into my skin and still leave everything so sloppy. I can't make this up! There's a reason this place was empty and had plenty people available for a walk in. The work here is horrible and with all the bleeding I did, I'm surprised they're still open. I let them know how unhappy I was with the work they did, but they honestly could care less. This was literally the worst nail shop experience I ever had. Upon entering and sitting down, I showed the tech a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. By the time she was finished, my nails didn't look anything like the simple design she was shown. Additionally, the acrylic was super thick and uneven (some nails were very thick and others were not.) The color came out very streaky and simply did not look very good. When I realized the tech did not know what she was doing, I told her not to worry about the design, and I would like my nails soaked off. She started yelling at me and arguing with me saying everything was my fault. She was very unprofessional, and not once did I yell at her. She refused to soak the nails off and opted to attempt the design anyway, which came out very poorly. While she was trying to "fix" my nails, she cut my fingers and kept telling me that when she finishes, she won't fix it again and what I get is what I get. I am pretty sure that she never would have started yelling at me if they had any customers there. In the 2.5 hours I was stuck in there, not one customer walked in. I will never return here again due to the unprofessionalism and the poor quality of work. Check the Google reviews for their unprofessional responses to low reviews. read more

The worst experience I've ever had. I did the "dip" which is like overlay with powder and they turned out horrible! She didn't use any of the tools on them so they turned out extremely lumpy and left them with powder all over my fingers. I had asked them to fix it but they told me to get my eye brows waxed first and then they would. I simply asked her to "clean up" my eye brows. I said "please do not change the shape." I came out with the thinnest eye brows I've ever had. I wasn't sure what tools she was using but she had to have literally shaved them. Easy to say I will never be going back there again. read more

I have been going here since they first opened their doors because it is just minutes from my home. After a series of lackluster experiences I decided that driving to a nail salon across town is better worth my money. The issues I have had with this salon have ranged from a nail infection that started immediately after a pedicure to bad customer service and poor quality work. I have too many stories to share on these topics and won't go into all of them. I'll share about what broke the camels back for me though. After being a customer for over 2 years the women have decided that I'm not going anywhere so they don't need to provide good customer service to me anymore. I even brought my bachelorette party to their salon for manis/pedis! Every time I go they will seat me in a spa chair and put the newest nail tech on me. The person with the least experience. I am never offered a drink (ever) even though it is ALAWYS offered to every other customer who walks in the door. If I do get an experienced nail tech they will take her off of me in the middle of a pedicure to put with another customer and once again give me the less experienced technician. I am prone to ingrown nails and dry heels. I will normally ask them to do extra scrubbing on my heels and help with the ingrown nails and some of them act like I've just asked them to go far above and beyond their scope of work duties. I usually have to go home and scrub my feet with a pumice stone because they hardly did what I asked them to do. Now, let's talk about the polish. For a long time I was having a difficult time with polish dulling or chipping within a few days of the service. I thought it was me being careless but then I got my nails done at another salon and the polish lasted at least a few weeks! I went back to C Nails and within 1 week the polish was chopped and dull. After a while I started noticing how they thin the polish out with a clear polish to make the bottle last longer. This really upset me. I have decided that because of this my money is best suited elsewhere. I started going to another salon and they always offer me a drink, ALL of their technicians are experienced, they don't thin out polishes, and best of all- they see when I have trouble areas on my feet and I don't even have to ask them to take care of it. read more
