Once I arrive, they give me someone else despite me saying I have an appointment and I should've said fuck no but decided to be nice and say ehhh why not? I absolutely love this place! The inside is classy and always clean. The decor is very high end for the area and probably one of the prettiest I've been to. All of the employees are so accommodating and kind. They're always making sure I am okay offering beverages and assuring me on how much longer the wait will be. They offer free soda, tea and wine. They have a wide selection of polishes and each tech is patient and doesn't rush through the job. My shellac lasted a good two weeks here. What keeps me coming back about twice a month is Ha and the way she does my eyelash extensions. My life hasn't been the same since I've started coming here. She is so kind and always takes her time and is very gentle on my eyes. I started off with 13s, I recommend doing this because the length of the lashes is drastic but I love it. Now that I'm used to them, I always opt out for the longest lashes - 14s and I ask for them to be styled cat eye (shorter inside to longer on the outside.) for my refills, I'm come in thinking darn, my lashes haven't grown that much so I don't know if it'll be full and thick this time. I'm SURPRISED every time! It always comes out looking thick and amazing. And the thing is, she only takes about 45 mins max! WOW!!!! I know a lot of ppl who have done lashes and I've seen many people and theirs don't compare to mine and they tell me that they took a upwards of two hours for theirs. I tell them they're crazy and I've recommended plenty of friends here and they love it just as much as I do. The lashes last me about 3-4 weeks before I need a refill. For refills it costs $40, I always tip $20 because I just appreciate the effort she puts in so much. For full sets, the cost is $60. That is steal! Trust me!!! I truly recommend getting eyelash extensions, they are so worth it and you'll never need to wear makeup again but still feel pretty! read more

Some of the reviewers were right. The management changed, I miss the other owner who was kind smiled and also so courteous. I didn't get that this time. I went in for dip nail and the guy that had me started out very gentle . However he was sloppy in the end with painting and finishing. I also did not get a manicure, soaking, cuticles pushed back, nothing. It was a rush job to change the dip nail polish and his methods were questionable - since I haven't have to use the uv light for dip before. I guess you should come here for quick sloppy job to change your polish color only! What a shame this place was good before now it's gone downhill. If I drove by this place, I would have to think twice about stopping in. It is in a sketchy shopping center but once you walk in, the ambience completely changes. The lights are dim and you just feel really relaxed. The guy that greeted me was very nice and polite, always offering me a drink and making sure I feel comfortable. LASHES: Based on a small number of Yelp reviews and convenience, I bit my tongue and made an appointment for a full set of lashes. I've been going to another place further away from my location for lashes so I was hopeful to find a place nearby. I was seen right away by Hannah. She finished my lashes in an hour and fifteen minutes. They looked great! I have short lashes and they grow straight down so I asked her to do D-curl, 11 on the inside corner and 13 on the outside corner. I was very impressed, especially for the extremely low price. When I came back for a refill, I asked her to make my lashes longer. She then explained to me that if I went longer, it might not last as long because I have weak lashes. I thought that was very professional of her to explain that to me instead of just doing it and not forewarning me. I went ahead and told her that was fine and that I would come in every two weeks then. I loveeee them! PEDICURE: I walked in for a pedicure and was seated right away. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before someone started on my toes. I figured there was only one pedicure type since no one told me about their different pedicures. The pedicure came with paraffin wax, hot towel wrap and hot stone massage. The lady that did me was very nice and asked me if I wanted to cut or just shape and what shape I wanted. A lot of times, they just cut your toe nails and shape it however they want. She was really good on getting all my cuticles. I thoroughly enjoyed the pedi and can't wait to go back for another one. When I paid, I was expecting it to be at least $30 but it was only $25. I had to tell the guy that my pedi had the wax and rock and all and he reassured me that it was indeed $25. WOW! What a steal. I've frequent many nail salons around Houston and I think I've found my new go-to. Great customer service and only a short drive from my place! Love it. read more

I have been on the hunt for a nail shop that does an amazing pedicure and a flawless polish at the end and i think with just a little guidance on how i like my toes polished, i can put an end to the hunt. The atmosphere is unbelievable! I dont think i have ever been in a nail salon with such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I really enjoyed that way Tammy massaged my leg and feet and i plan on going back for more pedis. The price was very affordable for the service that is given and the only reason i didnt give this place 5 stars is because i think my polish could have been a little more neatly done on my big toes and too much was taken off my already thin eyebrows during the waxing. I found this place via Groupon. The location is pretty sketchy. It's off of 610 and Stella Link, in a janky little shopping center. As soon as you walk in, you approach a large receptionist desk. Honestly, the place could use some updating and reorganizing because it just felt extremely cluttered. They have movies projected onto the wall for you to watch while you are getting your nails done. I came here for lash extensions. My appointment was at 6'o clock and I had to wait at least an extra 30 mins before it was my turn. They have one private room, tiny, cluttered room for lashes. Make sure you come in with a clean face because their lady didn't even try to even clean my eyes before applying the lashes. I had eyeliner on and was really confused. She said that I did not need to worry about it, but I still requested to wash my eyes. The lady gave me an oily makeup remover. Why would they have only oily make up remover, when that is the one thing you should avoid. That would screw up the adhesive for the lashes. I ended up just using hand soap... Would I come back? My lashes came out well, but the place itself wasn't great. I guess if you care about the frills and appearance, this is not the place for you. I tried this salon out for the first today and I left extremely pleased with my nails. They offer dip acrylics instead of the normal smelly process. The service time was long because the first tech that started my nails wasn't that good. I let them know I wasn't pleased with the outcome and Hannah took over and did an excellent coffin shape fullest. They offered a small discount and free designs for the extra time it took. The salon was cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The location of this shop has good parking and their price range for a fullest $25-40 depending on acrylic. First time I came in here was when Tiffany did my nails. She was good. She's no longer there. I've had at least two other nail techs do my nails and they did ok. This last time I had this older lady and her work was sloppy. She polished my nails unevenly, one of the acrylics on my nails was crooked & off, she didn't apply polish completely on a few of my nails, and her foot massage were very effortless. Please save your time and money and pass right by this waste of space. I've been going to this place for a bit over 6 months now and have gone from loving to hating it. At first, they had these really reasonably priced pedicures with hot wax and hot stone massage but I found out yesterday that they gave altered their packages to cost more and they do not contain all these features. Secondly, I started out getting acrylic nails there, before they switched to dipping powder, and when they did switch, my nails came off in two days rather than two weeks. They were extremely brittle and they charged me $5 every time I had to go get one repaired! Which was almost daily! Yesterday was the last straw for me. I went in to get a shellac manicure and I saw the chrome powder. I'd seen the trend on many YouTube videos and decided to try it even though it was $5 per nail. My manicurist tried to do it TWICE. She didn't seem to have any clue what the difference between SPARKLY and chrome was even though the nail samples were right next to her the whole time. After the second mess up, I told her to stop trying and asked the manager to just discount it. She only took off $10, claiming that they tried their best (like somehow it was my fault) and I ran out the door after two hours of headache. I am never ever going back. And I urge others to but even bother. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I went here to get my nails done less than a week ago and my thumb nail broke within 4 days and I went to go get it fixed. They charged me four dollars and then my other nail broke the next day so I was charged another four dollars to fix one nail, on top of the price I already paid to get them done I decided to get my eyebrows threaded as well and I told the lady at least twice that I wanted a clean up and to keep my eyebrows thick, but she threaded them extremely thin. On top of this all, I got a pedicure and one of my nails got infected, which has never happened to me before and I ALWAYS get pedicures. So, would I recommend this place? No. BUT, if you decide to go, make sure Angie does your nails because she's the sweetest and she does them the best here. read more

I have searched high and low for a eyelash lady and I think I may have found her. I finally booked an appointment today with Serena and I must say...she is awesome! I was originally going for the regular set of lashes which are $60 (great deal) but after asking her about the mink lashes and how light and full they would be I went with them (even at $85 that was still a great deal) I appreciated that she didn't try to upsell the mink lashes or pressure me into them...she simply gave me the pros and cons of both and allowed me time to decide. The front desk lady (sorry I can't remember her name) had great customer service on and off the phone (which is a plus for me) Since I was there and my eyebrows looked horrible I decided to get them arched which I am very happy I did. Yesterday I had a horrible experience: first they messed up my nails. I was getting me and my sister nails done she wanted no set just lay over and i wanted full set with shellac. When I asked another tech to tell him what i wanted because i dont think he understood me correctly. She said this is what he recommends for me. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO RECOMMEND SOMETHINGS THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT. IM THE ONE PAYING. Then after it was said and done I paid ( 118.00) already for 2 pedi (30.00ea.) And 2 set (28.00)... so I asked him to please just do full set like I asked. And said im not paying again or ANY MORE MONEY. he changed my nails then when i was finished they will change prices on you and try to upsell everything. They told me i owe another 18$ because : $5 upsell charge to cut cuticles which i didnt ask for (AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO DO CUTICLE DURING MANICURE) another $5 upsell charge to shape nail (like if u wanted square long,round etc) ARENT YOU SUPPOSE TO SHAPE NAILS DURING MANICURE. $5 FOR GEL COAT ON TOP WHICH I COULDN'T TELL OR SEE. My thing is this horrible customer service/problem solving skills. If you see that i already spent almost 120$ and services were not done correctly due to miscommunication language confusion etc. Dont keep doing what your doing. Admit wrong and try to fix it. Received a refill on my eyelashes and I had an appointment for 11, I had to wait over 15 mins and I asked if she could make them look a little more natural like she did on a previous client (which I provided a picture of) but when she finished they didn't look natural at all. I went in for a shellac manicure last week that costed me $28 and several nails are already chipping off. Normally it lasts me 2-3 weeks, not less than a week! So I went back to have them fixed and they told me it was going to be another $20. After letting them know I expected them to fix the bad job they did at no cost they did but with a bad attitude. I gave this place two for their customer service, or I would have given them zero stars. The location is not the best, but the interior is nice. They were very accommodating, offered me something the drink and helped me pick out my nail color. Unfortunately my manicure and pedicure were probably the worst I've ever had. Uneven polish, paint on skin, didn't remove dead skin or cuticles. It could have been just that one manicurist, but I will not be returning. When another manicurist tried to fix my nails, she went and cut side/corner of all my nails off. I've never seen that before. I let her do it thinking she knew what she was doing.
