I tried this nail salon for the first time because my usual place was closed. Chelsea did my pedicure. She was very kind and took her time with everything. I almost fell asleep during the massage.. Very pleasant experience. Evelyn did my manicure and I was not a fan. She was noticeably rushing and a little too forceful for me. She didn't file my nails (only cut them so they're not even and smooth. She also left all this residue all over my hands. I had to request her presence again for that to be removed. And instead of just waiting for my nails to dry, she ended the manicure by quickly rubbing lotion on my arms. I'm not sure if this is the new standard or if my original place has spoiled me, but I don't think I will return. My mother and I arrived at the nail salon and were greeted by a friendly employee who confirmed our appointment for two acrylic nails, nail art, and two pedicures. However, I changed my mind and canceled the acrylic and nail art, and we ended up with two pedicures and one acrylic nail for my mother. The salon looked clean, but it was somewhat cluttered. The pedicure chairs were old but comfy, and the massage remotes had bent buttons, making operating difficult. Naomi, the technician assigned to my mother's nails, was initially friendly. However, she ultimately misunderstood our request for pink powder with white powder and applied pink powder instead of white. We tried to address the issue with the manager, Thi (TT) Nguyen, but her attitude was hostile, confrontational, and aggressive. She was unwilling to listen to us and refused to help us. They were hung up on the word solar even though we specifically mentioned no shellac and that we wanted powder . Also, the gentleman at the front confirmed our appointment was for acrylic nails both in the beginning and in the end. TT's behavior and lack of couth left us feeling frustrated and gravely disappointed. Despite the poor customer service, we appreciated the good work of the pedicurists, Chelsea and Phuong, who did an excellent job. Chelsea did my pedicure, which was fantastic and thorough. Phuong did my mother's pedicure, and she was professional and diligent. We also gave them good tips as a sign of appreciation. Naomi also received a good tip despite her crafting a spectacle because my mother is just a sweet person. However, we hope that the salon will work on improving its communication and customer service skills to avoid similar issues in the future. The lack of empathy and comprehension from the owner, TT, the unwillingness to rectify the discrepancy, and the misinterpretation of our request by the technician, Naomi, was hugely disheartening. We suggest that the salon invests in additional training for its staff to ensure they completely understand and meet their customers' needs. Also, I hope they can soon feel empowered enough to inform customers of their skill set and what the salon offers. Unfortunately, my mother nor I will be returning to this nail salon in the future so long as TT is the owner. So, I'm giving them a 3-star rating because the place is very clean, doesn't smell like a nail salon, and the better part of their services are done very well. It's the final touches of painting nails that they just can't do. This is the third time (no, not in a row) where I truly enjoyed the massage and shaping of nails, but then when I get home and see how my polish has dried, I just get so disappointed. This last time, I've just removed the polish myself and will repaint my nails this evening. But to have paid $58 for a mani/pedi only to have my nails look like this...just not worth it. And I had to repaint my big toes because there was too much clear coat that then stuck to the inner part of my nail/skin and I was then left with an "edge" of paint. If you want a good pedi massage, I would recommend them, but don't go for a clean polish. read more

The techs are fairly on point with their capability to mimic anything you bring them, which is why I'm going with 3 stars. With that said this place is pricey, so if you're on a budget I'd ask price first. I wouldn't be able to keep up with a price point like this every two weeks, not to mention it's not the nicest place in terms of cleanliness or location. I will say the lady that did my pedicure did a- good job. My gel manicure however ruined my cuticles and parts of my nail bed as the tech was a bit on the rougher side. Won't return but if you need nail artists that can come quite close to pictures, and don't mind some pain, ruining part of your nails, and don't mind spending the $ then this is definitely the spot. read more
