I was extremely disappointed. I found the person that helped me was rude and not very helpful. When I dropped off the clothes for repair all she could tell me is that is was expensive. But she couldn't tell me a price. I would just have to see. Then I received a text message a few days later that stated a certain price and my garments are ready for pickup. $19 bucks....However, when I got there I was told the price I quoted was wrong and it was twice the amount quoted via text. She did not offer a discount or even try and help the situation since it wasn't my fault I was quoted the incorrect amount. I had taken my white winter coat to American Cleaners (please see the review) and I seriously thought it was ruined. There were stains from the cleaning solution they used and it was still dirty. I was very close to just throwing it away but thought I would take it to someone else to try to fix. I chose Jack Brown because they were close to where I work. I am only giving 4 stars because this is the only time I have used them but they did such a wonderful job of bringing my coat back to life I had to review them. I explained what had happened and they were honest in telling me they didn't know if they could fix it. I really love the coat so I thought it was worth the $11 to find out. Not only did they remove the stains from the cleaning solution from the other cleaner but they also got out the dirt and stains the other cleaner couldn't. The Sam Bass location lost one of two shirts that I dropped off. I was told that the manager would call me to address the problem but that didn't happen. I stopped by the store and was again promised that the manager would call but again it didn't happen. I'm now out a shirt and can't get anyone to contact me. NOT HAPPY with our experience here. I tried to drop off my husbands white military shirt for a funeral he had to go to and I missed the same day pickup by 15m. The lady was extremely nice at the Hutto location and said that she would send me over to this location and they would be able to have it ready for same day. She said she would call the location and let them know I was coming. Sure enough I got there and the lady knew who I was and said it would be ready by 3. I said, "today, right?" And she informed me yes! Well it was 5pm and my husband decided to just run by there to pick it up. Well the shirt was not ready and they said it was dropped off passed the same day time slot. My husband had to get up this morning, rush over there to pick it up and head to Dallas in time to make his military buddies funeral. Needless to say that was the first and last time we use them. I took two piece suit to be cleaned on 12/26 when they opened at 10:00 AM. Friday the 26th and asked for the same day service. I was told no but it will be ready on Sat the 27th at 3:00. I told the lady It is critical that I get it on Sat. She said no problem. So I went back Sat. as promised and found a different person and I was told that my suit will not be ready until Tuesday. I was irate and asked to talk to the supervisor. no one was willing to talk to me. when they called and asked the person who took the order she lied. Customer service in this place is bad every one has no integrity. They should not be in this business. If I was able to rate them 0 I would, but 1they do not deserve 1. i will admit the prices are not cheap but you pay for the convenience of "curb side". i decided to try jack brown for alterations/cleaning and my first visit i was like "ok" this is cool but was like i dont know if i can get with their prices but what made me decide to come back was KYLIE!!!! can we say KYLIE is on her customer service. it made me feel great when i pulled up to get my clothes she greeted me by name!!! i must admit i was impressed b/c i can only imagine how many people she sees on a daily basis!!! read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before using this place! All of their locations seem to have bad reviews. I dropped off 7 suit pieces and was charged $55.21. After inspecting them, I found several noticeable discolorations on 2 suit jackets and 1 suit skirt. I brought them back and complained to the manager, Aracely J. She was aloof and did not seem to care. I asked for a refund of the 3 pieces, and instead, was told they would send them off for another try. I am greatly disappointed in the lack of customer concern I received. I feel I shouldnt have to pay for a garment that wasnt properly cleaned the first time, would you? I repeatedly asked for that refund, telling her how unhappy I was and your about to loae my business for good...even mentioning I would write a bad review. She. Did. Not. Care. I typically do not write reviews but the experience has been so terrible that I feel obligated to notify others. Absolutely terrible customer service at this location .... Cost too high for the same work/quality provided by others ... I went there because other guys were closed for the holidays .... I asked the counter lady how much do you charge for one pant since they charged ~$100 for 12 pants ...she has no clue ... Told me to call the manager and if I am not happy then don't comeback ... She did not show any interest to engage me or try to help with questions .... seems to not care at all. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. DO NOT take your clothing here. I took a pair of Miss Me jeans to have the zipper replaced. Sadly I had worn them once and broke the zipper. I was quoted $8 for the replacement, I go in a week later to pick up the item and was charged $23. I get in my car, look at the jeans and low and behold there is a HOLE in my brand new Miss Me jeans!!! The zipper now functions beautifully but I have a hole that was not there before...upon further inspection the decorative stitching on the top of the jeans is UNRAVELED...AND just to top it off they have pressed the jeans with a line down the middle (like dress slacks) and you know that line is near impossible to iron out without leaving a permanent discoloration. I take the jeans back in immediately, had not left the parking lot with them, and speak to a young girl that works there. She says 'Oh, we can send them back to be patched and we won't charge you for that.' SERIOUSLY? You won't charge me to PATCH the hole that YOUR alterations team put in my jeans?!?!?!? Well, how nice of you...NOT! As if I would send my jeans back to them for potentially more damage. I call the next day to speak to the manager - CARMEN - let's just say for lack of better words this location has HORRIBLE customer service. Carmen has nothing to say except for me to bring the jeans in for inspection. My husband took them to her that day - she says she needs to keep them for the owner to inspect, agrees with my husband that the jeans appear to be brand new (yea, they WERE until I took them there). Today she calls and says the owner denies that they did any damage, that they only fixed the zipper and nothing else. TOTAL crap because they obviously did more than the zipper with the crease down the center of the pant leg. We have always taken our clothes there for dry cleaning, were loyal customers and now have a ruined pair of jeans and no compensation, in fact, complete disregard for their error. We will never do business there again and I will be in touch with the Better Business Bureau in regards to this matter. read more

After 3 attempts to get my blouses pressed properly and I don't mean perfect I just mean DONE! Hugh wrinkles clearly missed, not wearable. I picked up my blouses last week and mgr. greeted me at the door telling me no charge for the one blouse that was the first time pressing it. Ok.......I hesitated and she said Oh I am the mgr., there is no charge, I had already paid previously for the other two...........okay so long story short. Hah! Went to put the one blouse on and it's missing a button....have an extra so no big deal. Went to put the other coral colored blouse on and the buttons have been changed and sewn with white thread! What the hell is this! These are my clothes was I not supposed to notice this crappy exchange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Original buttons were grey pearl colored and when sewn, all threading is behind the button. New grey buttons have two center holes and sewn with white thread on a coral blouse, you would have to be blind to not notice! I would have rather picked up my blouse w/o buttons or my buttons in a coin envelope to re-attach! I'm just so pissed at the deceitfulness of it all. Never again! Steer clear! read more

I typically do not write reviews but the experience has been so terrible that I feel obligated to notify others. Jack Brown is a chain cleaner. However, none of the location actually clean your clothes. They just pick it up and send to the "factory". I had used them approximately 10 times in the past 6 months and the result varies. Shirts are typically okay. However, sweater & jackets, please take it to somewhere else. They know nothing to clean them. One of my jackets was completely ruined and the other sweater the stain is still there. They asked me to file a compliant but 2+ weeks later and there is no updates at all. To add to the insult, they are keeping my jacket and sweater for "inspection". This is completely BS and ridiculous. It's a shame they are opened for so long and not know how to operate. Since each location is independent agent, they do not seem to care at all. I learned a big lesson. read more
