I don't know why but I had high hopes for this place. I dropped off 6 shirts to be dry cleaned on Saturday and was helped by a wonderful woman. She told me it would be ready by Monday at 6. I waited an extra day and went Tuesday. To my surprise when I got there Christoper who seriously is just a terrible person was there. And he told me that my clothes were not ready and when I showed him my slip that showed that my clothes would be ready on Monday he laughed and said no come back after 6. I tried to ask another question and he slid the door close in my face. I'm so disappointed in the service. And as a manager I would have fired him a long time ago. I will be taking my business somewhere else. And will make sure to tell all my friends and family to do the same. I don't know how y'all are still in business with an employee like that. You can see in my picture that it's says the day I dropped it off and when I was suppose to pick it up. And the other picture is of the terrible employee Christoper who shut the door in my face twice. Because he did it again once I picked up the clothes and paid. The biggest issue I have with this place is the fact that nobody ever addresses the reviews. Obviously they have terrible employees and you would think the manager would respond at least acknowledging that they care but it's par for the course for Jack Brown. They have a pretty good monopoly on cleaning services in town and they've never really seem to care about customer service. read more

I have used this location many times, as I live in the neighborhood, and the courtesy of the ladies, prices and specials, and ability to get stains out of things I have dropped off have been really good. I have had to drop off suits for a quick turn around, I have had to have multilpe shirts dry cleaned with heavy starch, and dresses and special wear have been sent here. So far with no issues. They run daily specials during the week, and they are posted up front, but I never seem to come on the correct day (doh!). I don't use them every week, but over the past years of living in this neighborhood, they have done my cleaning well when I needed it. Dare not EVER ask them a question because the rudeness you will receive is worse than their pricing. They were close so we used them but I'd rather drive elsewhere and be treated better. If I could have selected a negative star, I would have selected 3 of them. There is no quality control at this firm. Seriously, how hard is it to turn down the collar of a pressed shirt at seam of the collar so your tie doesn't show behind your neck. I've sent shirt after shirt back consistently for two years since we moved to this neighborhood. If there was another dry cleaner in this area, I'd switch in a heartbeat. read more

First visit to this establishment. Not pleased with the level of service. Is conveniently located, but will not be utilizing their services in the future. Did not meet the promised delivery date. Had to wait two days beyond the promised delivery date. I get it - I realize it may be petty on my part - it's only two extra days and not the end of the world in the big scheme of things, but come on...when you say what you're going to do, do what you say. Let me start by saying I don't post reviews good or bad, but this experience was horrible that I do not want anyone else to go through what I didOne of the worst experience possible. I have used this location couple times and grant it they are definitely more expensive than the competitors, it was close by. I arrived 2 days after I dropped my items off (keep in mind I was told to come 1 day after dropping the items off) when I arrived they few pieces were not ready and since I was leaving out of town I just took everything and still paid the full $85 because she couldn't make any changes. When I arrived home she had given me some else's items. Went back to the store and she had no idea where my sweater was. When asked to speak with a manger she called a gentleman by the name of Terry Brown. After explaining my situation to him it was obviously clear he didn't care on bit and said "it will turn up" I told him this was in acceptable and his response was "F*** you" and hung up the phone. I feel Jack Brown is does good work but tends to be more expensive than competitors. However, the benefit of drive-through drop-off and pickup promoted at this location does provide a value. The problem is I have used this location a few times and the counter person has yet come out to my car. Every time she has stood at the door waiting for me to get out of my car and come in. I dropped off a few pair of pants and dress shirts and when I picked them up, not only were they very rude, but it was more expensive than anywhere I have had my clothes dry cleaned! (and I have lived in some HCOL areas!) When I got them home I realized that I had been double charged and my clothes are not well pressed. I will not be returning. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CLOTHES, DON'T GO TO JACK BROWN!! I've had a long, horribly drawn-out problem with Jack Brown on 620. I took a dress to be dry cleaned about 2 months ago. Without informing me prior, they removed a prominent medallion from the dress and reattached it horrendously. They used a very visible white thread on my green dress. I took it back for them to repair and it actually came back worse!!! There were stray scissor cuts on the neckline of the dress as well as the medallion had been sown on unevenly and still with the white thread! The not-so-helpful person at the desk gave me the proper forms for filing a damage claim to their corporate office for reimbursement. I did so only to be have corporate deny responsibility. I know people make mistakes, even twice, but at least try to make it right. read more

Cleaners aren't anything I'm going to get overly-excited about, unless they lose a suit or burn a hole through shirt. I need to give kudos to Mary at this Jack Brown's, however, because she is fantastic. Mary has been trying to help me look good (no chance of that, though) for 2 years. Nothing lost, always on time, and on the occasion when a button has cracked or a shirt gets hit with salsa - the problem is given extra attention at no cost. Do not use this dry cleaners. Dates promised mean nothing - I was just told that they were short employees and the person that took my clothes was new. When I got home, only the jacket of my suit was in the bag. I called - it took three times to get through to someone since they do not answer their phone or have voicemail. I was told it could take them a couple of weeks to find them. I have trying to get through since the two week window has passed. It has now been a month since I picked them up. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone when I stop by a manager is not available. I sent two emails to Jack Brown Cleaners and no one responds. This was my last visit to any Jack Brown Cleaners. I have had many bad experiences with this place. The most recent was when I went to get two patches sewn onto my letterman jacket. As instructed by the lady at the front desk, I indicated where I wanted the patches to be sewn on by pinning them the jacket. I dropped the jacket off on a Friday and was told it would be ready by the following Monday. Well, Monday comes around and no word on the jacket. No biggie, I can wait an extra day. Finally on Tuesday they call me to tell me that they can't sew one of the patches on and the if they sew the other patch on, it won't be ready until Saturday. I don't have time for this bullcrap so I went and picked it up immediately without the patches sewn on. I would've thought the lady at the front desk would've apologized for wasting my time but she just rudely handed me my jacket. Not the friendliest service. My clothes always seem half wrinkled. Near the house so convenient but not my favorite.

I took my son's Boy Scout uniform shirt that had gone through the wash with a red ink pen in the pocket. We thought the shirt was ruined, and that we would alhave to buy a new one. We were devastated thinking about taking 26 hand sewn patches and doing it again. But they did it! It looks as good as new. As you can tell I've never used yelp in my life but this definitely deserved a review. There is no reason for the store manager at this location to be customer facing. I am surprised that with her overall appearance, demeanor and attitude a store owner would let her deal with customers. I dropped off a couple suit jackets to have the sleeves lengthened. I was told it wouldn't be more than $15.00 per jacket. When I went to pick them up I was presented with a bill for $76.00 dollars. I explained she personally quoted me a different price. She proceeds to shoe me in her computer the cost for said alterations. So she knew the cost or had access to it but quoted her low cost. That is what is known as "bait and switch". Not sure if its a legal term but I think I'll find out. Dear, Jack Brown have some pride in your stores and their appearance starting with your chain smoking personnel. I typically do not write reviews but the experience has been so terrible that I feel obligated to notify others. Jack Brown is a chain cleaner. However, none of the location actually clean your clothes. They just pick it up and send to the "factory". I had used them approximately 10 times in the past 6 months and the result varies. Shirts are typically okay. However, sweater & jackets, please take it to somewhere else. They know nothing to clean them. One of my jackets was completely ruined and the other sweater the stain is still there. They asked me to file a compliant but 2+ weeks later and there is no updates at all. To add to the insult, they are keeping my jacket and sweater for "inspection". This is completely BS and ridiculous. It's a shame they are opened for so long and not know how to operate. Since each location is independent agent, they do not seem to care at all. I learned a big lesson. read more

Highly unprofessional owner/district manager. It was my first time using this dry cleaners. I brought in an expensive item with two stains on one side. One the size of a dime the other the size of a nickel. Not only did they not get the stains out. The solvent they used damaged the item further. Causing fading stains around both perimeters, doubling the size of the spots. Additionally they rubbed the stains making that's area fuzzy and worn looking. When I informed them of this, the only solution was to refund me the price of the dry cleaning. Which is obviously because they didn't get out the stains which is the exact reason I took it in! Talked to the owner/district manager informing him that they damaged it further. He had attitude the entire time and trying to argue that I brought in a damaged item so if they damage it further it's not their problem or fault. At the end he only offered to pay half of the items value (in 10 days) but wanted to keep my item now. One of the most disappointing experiences in customer service I've had. read more

I went in this morning and dropped off my clothes. Later that day, was notified by email my dry cleaning was ready for pic up. As well as the price. For 9 pieces of clothes the bill was 45 dollars. I called and asked about the high price and during the conversation was rudely interrupted by Mary. She then began to rant saying ''I requested this and its not her job to tell anyone about a coupon and that I could have used a coupon , but it was after the drop off, so she then stated I couldn't use one since I've already dropped off.'' She must also not think coming out to the car is her job as well, I waited in the drive thru area for approx. 6min before I had to go the sliding glass window and request to be ripped off. She then began to provide me with horrible customer service, and says '' I don't make the rules, I just work here.'' So I asked her if she could make an exception since she failed to mention any prices or inform me about a coupon. She was firm on her horrible customer service skills. She said I would have to take it up with Mr. Brown. Thanks to people like her running the customer service dept. I will no longer take anything to Jack Brown Cleaners. I also let her know I would make a Yelp about this and seemed to not care, misinforming people and then to top it off being rude. Your only as good as your help. If you go to this cleaners, be prepared to have your wallet cleaned as well. Be ware. This completely unacceptable. read more
