Clean and organized. This was my first visit to a Laundromat in 20 years but with our machine out for over a week now waiting on parts I had to find somewhere. Parking lot is one way so keep that in mind, that part was kind of a pain coming from my direction then leaving someone of course came in the do not enter and almost hit me. I had about 12 towels to wash so found one of their larger washers. I liked that everything was grouped by size and most labeled where it was easy to see. The dryers weren't great from my experience and why the 4 stars. I picked a 5 load machine over the 3 load because it was only .75c more. I put it on the high heat and let it dry for the I think 30 min it was. But the towels weren't dry. I had to load them up damn to take him and dry again. I didn't have time to run it again and also didn't want to pay another $3. They had lots of people working, folding, keeping things organized and clean which I liked. read more

Please put attendants in your establishment that can communicate with the general population especially if you are leaving your business in their care. I came by for some laundry that I left over in the dryers just last night. The attendant was very rude. While we washed he starred and watched us constantly last night, my children and I. I felt like I was doing something wrong and I'm not sure why he was hyper focused on us. Just made me uncomfortable. I did leave my laundry behind not realizing I was even drying so late into the night and the establishment closed at 10pm. Definitely my fault for not double checking my thinking since I've frequented this establishment multiple times over a 8 year period. I came in today hoping our things were still here. Hoping no one stole them. So I kindly asked the attendant if they had things left over from the night before. His attitude told me he remembered me from the night before. He walked around confused after I asked him if they had clothes from dryers last night left in a few dryers. He took the other attendant in the back for a few minutes and then she came out but he didn't right away. We watched him just stand there starring into space. He came out the back rudely telling us our clothes were in a storage unit, the owner has the keys and they won't be back until Monday. He did this through google translate. I wanted to ask questions. Like was he sure it was our things. Could he call to confirm because I didn't want to come back Monday to disappointment. I left them behind yes and no you're not responsible but if they aren't here, now is a good time to tell me. He couldn't communicate with me, got an attitude with me about it. If he's running the establishment he should be able to answer questions. That's customer service. There should at least be one person in charge that can communicate effectively. A bi-lingual person would have been the best option to accommodate all of the customers in case they need help. I didn't understand if it's a procedure to lock things in a storage, the manager has the key to that storage and it's Friday...what happens if someone leaves something tonight? Will that not be locked away too? I'm annoyed that I couldn't get the service that I needed to solve this problem. read more

I think in general laundromats are fine in the area. This one I didn't care for too much because unless you got their card and put it on your own credit card, I think they charge you extra because I was supposed to get some money back on my card and I didn't and I just don't have the energy to fight it. However, they do have a very large variety of different types of machines and sizes. So we actually saved money using the larger machines when we had to do about 6 weeks worth of laundry due to being in between homes and so we raning out pretty quickly because of that and I did appreciate the space being clean. There was folding areas areas to sit and I believe there is free Wi-Fi but as far as the laundromat go it was there and served his purpose. read more

We have been going here vs Big Clean because this was cleaner and the first two times we went the ac was working great so I didn't have to worry about our two toddlers getting hot and sweaty like they did at the other laundromat. FYI the laundry basket/carts are too small. So you will have to be ready to balance the clean wet laundry as you roll it to the dryers. I was glad to see online that there was a kids area with small stools for them to sit at and work. However, it is no longer that way at all! It's very dirty, the tv isn't on for the kids, there's no stools, there's a trash cart kept in that area and there's an extremely filthy wooden puzzle toy in the corner. We've been a total of four times and the last two times it was so hot that we were all miserable and the kids were getting cranky. The was even an older couple that was saying they're going to just finish drying their clothes elsewhere because the heat was making them uncomfortable and not feel well. We will give this place another chance but if the ac keeps not being used I will look elsewhere for laundry day!! read more

Both of my washer and dryer were out of service so SpinZone was a perfect location to go do laundry and was convenient to me. The best thing about SpinZone is they have washers to accommodate small loads to super large loads, and with those industrial sized dryers you can literally dry up to 4 loads of laundry. I walked in not exactly knowing which size washer to use for my comforter. As I was putting the comforter in the largest washer ($11) an employee approached me and said you don't have to put it in there! She directed me to the $7 washers and that size of washer would do the job. She helped picked the settings and unfortunately the credit card readers were not working. BUT they have excellent dollar changers. They even had a $20 bill changer. Very helpful staff! TVs worked with audio. Restrooms clean. Need updated seats. Finally decided to utilize the wash & fold service offered and that was most def a great decision. Dropped my clothes (81.5 lbs) off around 10 yesterday morning and was quoted a pickup time of 8:00pm today which was fine given the size of the order I was pleasantly surprised when I got a text at 2:10 that my clothes were done and ready for pickup. When I arrived the lady recognized me and grabbed my order, when I see it I was amazed..this was quality folding..much better than mine. Don't think I got my 20% off as a new customer but I don't mind it was worth every penny for the convenience alone. I'll def be back..thinking of doing this monthly. read more

The only complaint I do have, however, is that a certain staff member (one of the only ones who speaks fluent english) on just about every occasion I'm here is all over her boyfriend (whom clearly isn't employed here). I'm happy they're happy, but I don't come to a public setting to watch two people suck face and display quite a bit of PDA when she's supposed to be an employee here. I give businesses, people, 50 ..11 times to be kind. Ive been going to same FLUFF and FOLD for 5 years or so. They wash, dry, fold and hang. Their service and machines have not been coming out too good. After the last few attempts ... I decided to shop around with my little money. Again..l give 50.. 11 chances. So I venture down to Spinzone in Round Rock. I noticed the place was kind of dirty. But I was going to give them a chance. Maybe a busy week. I was charged 2X the amount by accident by the employee. I'm like it's ok. It was a mistake. He said sorry and tried to correct. I waited an hour. He said very kindly.... you don't have to keep waiting. I will call you later and get this corrected. I said thanks no problem. He called me later and I reluctantly gave him my card info to charge the correct amount. The original charged had been backed out. Today I was in the area so I called to ask if my order was ready. I heard a lady ANGRILY YELLING in the background " IM WORKING ON IT" I'm like. Roz she was probably just talking loud over the machines. Giving her the benefit of the doubt I waited for finished TEXT. As I walked into the facility to pickup my laundry.... the LADY was rude and mad as I walked in. So I dug up some JESUS HOLY GHOST LOVE and JOY. Lit up my face. Great place to get laundry done. I did the wash and fold twice and they were done very well. Place is kinda expensive but I paid more for the convenience. Also it's a nice modern place and not dirty like other laundromats I've been to so I'm willing to pay more for a better ambiance. **Be aware for the wash and fold they have a $15 minimum - the second time I went there I didn't meet the minimum so they added a fee to meet it, which kinda sucked. I ended up paying $15 for $6-$7 worth of laundry. So just make sure you have $15+ worth of laundry for them to wash and fold and you're all good! read more

I've been going to Spin Zone for 3 years very few months to wash blankets and large linens. I really like this place for its many options of washer and dryer size. The past 2 visits I've seen several machines out of order and last visit every single chair bench had at least one chair broken or in poor condition. It was also not as clean (floors) as usual. So we never go to laundromats, we have a full size washer and dryer and do laundry at home For 3 weeks our dryer has been down. It's supposed to get fixed again on Monday but we couldn't wait and had to get laundry done. We did our research and this place was clean and had 10 load washers. So cool, we get everything knocked out in a couple loads. NOPE The washers and dryers were small. What would be a single load at home was actually the size of two loads here. So it took more than a couple loads. When my wife called she was told by an attendant that the machines use debit cards and and debit cards only and there is a $15 hold the first time u swipe. 2 hours in and our debit card won't work. We have stuff soaking wet waiting to dry and so she calls me and I get on the phone with the bank. Turns out that EVERY time you swipe using ur debit card it puts a $15 hold on ur debit card. The more she kept swiping the bank flagged the card because of identical charges and wouldn't let her use it anymore. So she had to get one of their cards and load it with our debit card. 6 HOURS AND $93 LATER.... our laudry is finished, this didn't include purchasing any DETERGANT or bleach etc. We brought our own. Do not be fooled by this place. The machines are small, prices are high and the workers don't know what they are talking about. You are paying a premium for TVs, clean facility etc. The entire experience was not great to say the least. **We are self aware enough to realize our experience may be the norm for using a laundromat as we have not used one in over a decade. But I wish someone would have posted and let us know the machines were small and using ur debit card would cause issues. read more

A surprisingly high-tech and convenient laundromat, in the heart of Round Rock. Our home washer is down for a couple weeks, so I have been coming here to do laundry for a family of 4. I work nights, so it is great having a place that is open 24/7. Yes, there is an attendant here 24 hours a day. Yes, there are customers here 24 hours a day as well. I was here at nearly 3 am, and there were still a couple other customers with me. The attendant was friendly enough when I had questions, and I felt perfectly safe, even late at night. This place is very modern and comfortable. There are comfy chairs to sit in, and a plethora of large screen TVs if you are inclined to watch. The machines vary in sizes, and it is great to be able to do up to 6 loads in a single machine. It really saves time and hassle. My only complaints are small ones... if you forget your detergent, don't bother buying any here. The prices for soap and dryer sheets border on extortion. They had a sign advertising Tide Pods for $1.50. I asked how many pods came with that, and was told that it was $1.50 for a single pod. The machines are pricey too, but I was able to wash and dry enough clothes to keep my family of 4 running for a week for under 20 bucks. Not a bargain, but not outrageous either. A final gripe about the vending machines... they have at least 20 varieties of soft drinks, but not a single Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, or Diet Dr. Pepper. What gives? read more

Great laundry facility with up to date machines. Employees leave you alone and are on their phones most of the time (which I truly don't care about) but are there if you need them. My husband and I are moving out of state and moved our washing machines already. We used this facility for a few weeks, mostly after work during the week. There was never a lot of people there and the prices were good. We never had a problem with the cards, we loaded cash (like it tells you to do) and never had a problem getting over charged. It actually states pretty clearly, and the employees explained the process, so I'm not sure where the breakdown in communication was for some people. Definitely recommend for the area. read more

I was here for maybe less than 45 min. The female employee was outside for more than 15 minutes on the phone. Whenever she was on the phone with she was cursing and very vulgar. She comes back in and states you are not allowed to stay and wait inside. I said ok, but then proceeds to bend over the counter and showing half of her buttcheeks because her shorts were short. I love this place. It's like the Vegas of laundromats. I cant say enough about Leticia. She is always so friendly and greets everyone. She tries to get me to eat the donuts they provide daily but my pants are not having it. Charge your phone while waiting for the wash. The kid zone area has electronics for the kids to play on and their own section of the building. Restrooms are always clean. It's become a normal routine to come here weekly. They have a nice lounge area where you can wait for your clothes to be done. Rows on rows on rows of machines each varying size. Machines take cards! Or quarters. I have to begin by saying that I haven't been in a laundromat in 25+ years so I can't judge pricing. I can tell you how much they've changed. My home washer needs a new "board" of some sort that's going to take over a week to come in. So I searched for a nearby laundromat not wanting to spend my whole day off there. I was thrilled to find SpinZone nearby. I walked in... it's large and clean and has WiFi and tv and more machines than I could've imagined. Being clueless. , I had to ask for help and Leticia was there to offer it. And she offered it without making me feel dumb. Leticia was amazing!!! (Employer, take notice please). I purchased the loyalty card that costs $1.50 . Leto is walked me through loading it with enough to do my loads. AND, y'all get this... with the card FREE DRYERS ON FRIDAYS!! The free dryers easily paid the one-time $1.50 for the card. It was my lucky day!! You know I forgot my laundry detergent. Leticia was there to help me out with Tide Pods, I could purchase at 50 cents each. That may be more than at the store, but I was happy to not have to leave and drive somewhere to purchase some. Leticia rescued me again!!! My clothes are clean, the washers were quick and the dryers were fine, too. It was overall a very good experience. I am hopeful not to have to make visiting Spin Zone a regular thing, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. One last thing; I hesitated about the loyalty card, But I love the free dryer Friday AND I will definitely be holding on to the card and returning regularly to wash those heavy king size bedspreads and comforters. I took my comforters to drop off to be laundered and the Spinzone attendant Elma was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this laundromat because of the great service I experienced from Elma, but also for the cleanliness and ease of bringing your clothes in through the automatic doors which open as you approach them, as you are lugging in your laundry. The parking is very convenient also. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you need to pay for your drop off items in CASH, which I had to make another trip out to get. They do not take credit cards,debit cards or checks,so make sure you bring enough cash w you. There is a Chase Bank on the other end of the shopping mall if you need the ATM. read more
