I brought a pair of blue jeans in on the 21st of this month for two small black square patches on the legs over 2 little holes. when I go to pick them up on the 24th they are repaired like normal with no black square patches for $31. When I told the lady they are not done like I told YOU I wanted them to be she took them back and said they would be fixed. NOW they won't be ready until the 31st and I needed them for something I had going on this weekend. If you want to risk your SUITS DESTROYED, COME TO THIS STORE. My Unworn shirt was TORN, NOT REPAIRED, AND NEVER SENT TO ME. THIS IS AFTER I PAID FOR THE SERVICE!!! CLEARLY NOT A CHRISTIAN BUSINESS. manager gave me nothing but excuses. Called 6 times, 2 corporate people, no help. Manager not managing. Less than zero stars. I dropped off a shirt brand new from Dillard's that have never been worn . I was really excited about wearing it . Everything we took here came back either dirty or not pressed correctly. The shirts had ring around the collar pretty badly..and neither of the shirts were button before they were pressed, so the pressing created weird wrinkles everywhere. I could have done much better by just washing and ironing myself. Go to the cleaners in La Frontera instead..they do much better at customer service and quality of cleaning. When I dropped the shirts off at Jack brown.. the lady was on the phone and barely looked up at me..I had to wait a few minutes before I was acknowledged. Should have indicated the rest of the service would stink, and it did. Will never go back. read more

Terrible service, terribly dry cleaning. Took a whole batch of clothes there my first week in town since they're near work, and my shirts suffered for my convenience. 4 of the 8 shirts were fine; 3 were badly pressed and I needed to iron them again (defeating the main reason I get shirts laundered, which is not to do the hateful chore of ironing). 1 shirt was absolutely mangled - looked like they took a shotgun of bleach pellets to the back of it. When I took it back, the lady working there acted like I had asked her to dig a retainer out of the bottom of a dumpster when I asked to file a claim, and then proceeded to question whether I was lying about the value of the shirt, where I got it from, etc. Unpleasant, never going back. I'll go through the purgatory of ironing rather than the hell of dealing with that kind of quality or service. And they're also stupid expensive for what you get - $2.40 for non-same day shirt ruining? No fanks. read more

I should have read the reviews before bringing my clothes here. One thing and one thing only I ask of them!!! No Crease on my pants!!! Lady working there said No Problem! I picked up my clothes the next day and you guessed it! Even the receipt still had the note that stating NO CREASE!!! Her explanation was ... Well there is no way to do it without a crease!!!! Wow...it keeps getting worse. I've now been accused of ruining my own clothing, and was told by their regional manager, Terry, that if I had any "common sense" that I would have taken my damaged clothing back to the store. Here's why I didn't: Anyone looking online will see clearly that returning to a Jack Brown location for help with a claim is in for a very painful, unsuccessful process. Once I saw this after finding the damage to my clothing, I decided to send an email through their website. This clearly made the regional manager quite angry. I had been here before...not that i enjoyed the service. It was kind of an in and out place for me. So I brought three pairs of chef slacks to get the pants hemmed to fit my leg length. After waiting over a week for my pants, I went to get them and get this...they charged over 50 freakin dollars. that was more than the pants themselves. Finally gave up with this dry cleaner. Multiple times to get clothes clean, losing clothes, and the customer service in the afternoon is the worst. She could care less about you as a customer. System goes down and even though you are a regular they won't give you your clothes unless you give them your credit card info on paper. Seriously, in today's world of cc theft. This review is past due, but thought I must! I got married this past July and purchased a formal dress from Dillard's that i fell in love with. It so happened to have make up smudged on the breast part as well as strap. So I took it to get cleaned. We only had 4 days before leaving to the beach, so my first question was to make sure it could be cleaned with in that time frame. Girl stated yes it will be done in 2 days tops. So after leaving dress with them and being quoted 60$ cause they had to take it to a special place to get cleaned I showed back up and she says "oh dress is not done, but owner will drive it over tonight and you can pick it up first thing in the morning!" I said ok great... Came back following morning. But of coarse it's not there. So asked if there's any way I could get it now. She says yes you can pay and I will give you the address where it is. So I asked for a discount since they did not fulfill their promise. I got a whopping 10%off so after paying 50$ she gives address and I end up going half an hr out of my way, to another jack Browns! Wow what a special place they sent it.... After standing there 5 mins with out being acknowledged i finally got my dress and left and NEVER went back! Nor will I ever! It wouldn't be so bad had they not done a terrible job ironing 3 of the 5 shirts! And quite honestly, I'm doubting they cleaned the blazer I brought in. Oh and they ironed that lapel all screwy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Although it's conveniently placed and has a drive-through, they did not bother cleaning any of my sweaters. I moved here thinking "How convenient!They are right down the street from me and I literally need to drop off items every week." After bringing at least 10 of my favorite cashmere sweaters, I slowly began to notice that each and everyone of them had something wrong with them or still had simple stains like toothpaste. I've lived in the neighborhood for 15+ years. My relationship with this cleaners has been a love/hate relationship. When they were good, they were awesome! They were attentive to details such as missing buttons, stains being spot treated when asked, and their heavy starch could hold up any dress shirt or pair of jeans all on its own... Lately, they've been completely off. I've had to repeatedly bring shirts back since they overlooked the fact that they'd tagged the shirt for repairs or spot cleaning and never completed the job or removed their own tags. The major fail was recently when I took my months shirts back since the starch job was pretty lame. When I spoke with the manager ,who held one of the shirts in her hand, her response was that this is the heaviest starch job they do. Incredulously, I took my clothes back with me. Later that day, I received a call from her. She proceeded to tell me that she'd looked up my account and noticed that someone had labeled this last batch of clothes as "No Starch". No Duh! That's why I brought them in. Apparently, she couldn't be bothered to notice that the shirt in her hand did not have starch, and instead she said what she wanted to hear. AVOID THIS DRY CLEANERS! It pays to do your research before using a business you're unfamiliar with. Hopefully this review will alert you to the poor service we received from Jack Brown Cleaners at 1200 Gattis School Road. We had a men's oxford shirt ironed at this dry cleaners, only to have the (new) shirt returned to us with a hole in it. The hole was not a clean cut, but a ragged rip that looked like it got caught in machinery. When we pointed this out to Jack Brown Cleaners, the sales girl offered to have it sent off for repair. After two weeks with no word from Jack Brown Cleaners we called to find out the status of repair. We were told that we were at fault for the hole in the shirt, from "normal wear and tear". When we informed them that it was a new shirt, the sales girl kept repeating what she was instructed to say: "the manager said, the hole was from normal wear and tear". After getting nowhere with the sales girl, we asked to speak to a manager. We got nowhere with him because Jack Brown Cleaners did not want to pay for, or acknowledge, damage that THEY did to the shirt. The hole was about 1 inch in length and width, but since we gave them the shirt intact, we felt it was our right as a paying customer to receive the shirt in the same or better condition. We ended up taking the shirt to an alteration shop which charged us less than $7 for the repair. We were shocked at how little it would have cost Jack Brown Cleaners to repair the shirt. Their unwillingness to do so speaks loudly of their poor business practices. After our poor service experience with Jack Brown Cleaners we have learned that other customers have had similar experiences of dropping off their dry cleaning, only to have it returned damaged, and blamed on the customer. This was our first and last time doing business with Jack Brown Cleaners! We hope our experience will deter you from ever having to do business with this dry cleaner!! read more

I would give them 0 stars if it were an option. This happened years ago and I still remember it. I had a pair of shoes that needed repair. They were not very expensive shoes but they were my favorite and I could not locate a new pair to buy anywhere. They were Mary Jane style shoes that have a thin strap that goes around the ankle, a fairly common style. That strap has a little elastic piece on it that connects the buckle to the strap. The elastic had worn out and that also needed to be replaced they also needed to be resoled. It took FOREVER to get them back. I remember they said it would take a week and if I recall correctly it was at least 3. When I went to go and pick them up they informed me at that time that they were not able to replace the little elastic part so they just resoled them. A phone call would have been nice, I would have just told them to forget it, but since I was there to pick them up I was forced to pay for the sole repair and walk away with shoes that I still could not wear. I haven't been to any one of the Jack Brown cleaners since. read more

AWFUL... after 3 attempts to get the pressing correct, I mean wearable! Hugh wrinkle patches on my blouses they now have changed the buttons on one blouse with white thread on a Coral blouse, like I am not supposed to notice! I would have rather picked up my blouses w/o buttons or my buttons in a coin envelope to sew on myself. Pissed at the deceitfulness! Never again! Steer clear!
