The owner said she has owned this shop for a long time and I thought her prices were so reasonable. She only charged $15 to hem his pants and told us to come back in a week to pick them up. I will forever be a customer of ASAP Alterations for any of my tailoring/alteration needs. Today, I called up ASAP Alterations to get a quote on how much would it be to have one of my favorite Perry Ellis button-down shirts fixed prior to an interview I had for the upcoming next day, which was missing a button and they were happily able to quote me and told me to bring it by. ASAP Alteration is located after the Shoe Dept on the second floor by the escalators, upon my arrival I polity let the team know I was here about the phone call a few minutes ago to add a new button to my shirt and they were swiftly able to see that I had an extra button from the mfg that was stitched to the tag of the shirt. Once my needs were understood, I handed over my shirt and the nice lady told me it will be about 15- 20 minutes. I sat down and waited, then began to read a 4-page article. This place is on point!! The lady there is the only one I have ever seen but she always does a great job and is priced great!!! I have used them for hemming jeans that were too long and dress pants that were too long as well as pants that had tears in the seams and the work is perfect!!!! You can't even tell the pants were altered and they look great!!! She even matches all the thread and everything is just great!!! I always bring my pants and shirts here as they also take measurements and then hem and fit the clothing! Not many places I have seen will do all this but this place rocks!! read more

Finding a place for reliable alterations isn't easy. I took a chance on this place, and it turned out okay. Gave them a few pairs of jeans that needed the legs to be shortened/hemmed. All that turned out perfectly, so no complaints there. My only hesitation in going back again, would be the condition of the place. It's extremely tight in the changing area. There's also only 2-3 chairs in the waiting area, and people walking by can partially see into one changing booth. The chair in the changing booth is also old & too small for most adults I know. The customer area is also in need of a major cosmetic make-over, as the walls/carpet are VERY dirty - so much so, that I really didn't want to put anything on the floor/carpet, because it was "sticky" (probably from drinks from the food court getting tipped-over). read more

I've been using this service for years and mostly have been very satisfied. Recently I brought 2 orders in at different times and was asked if I wanted to pay for both which I agreed to do. Tonight (after hours) I got a call from them asking me to pay for one of the orders I thought I'd paid for already. I think that that was very unprofessional especially since I've spent several hundred dollars with them over the years. I won't be returning to this alteration furn in the future. read more

This lady does amazing work! And fast! I brought her 2 pairs of basketball uniform shorts that are reversible. One needed the waist taken in, the other needed the length taken up. There was no obvious way to do either since they are reversible. And I needed them done in 2 days bc the boys had a tournament that weekend. She had them both ready on time and they both look amazing! Can't even tell they were altered! Plus she did the length in a way that it can be let back out as my son grows. I am so happy about this and highly recommend this place!! read more

Was told about this place by some friends. I however, was not impressed. She was fast but it was not quality work. The dress is completely ruined and so off and weird looking when it is on. More unflattering now than it was before I brought it in. I'm so disappointed. I wanted to wear this dress to a wedding as it matched my daughters. Will not be back. read more

I took a lace dress to them with less than a weeks notice. They took it in as requested and had it back to me within a few days and in perfect condition. (I was a little worried that my lace dress would get snagged in the process.) I got the impression that they could have done it faster if I needed it sooner. The ladies that work here are not overly friendly, but they are polite and do a great job. I will be going back if I ever need alterations again. read more

Customer service is truly lacking and I am charged more and more every time! The older of the 2 ladies that work here is rude and snarky and not afraid to belittle you in the presence of others, even when it's her mistake. I've never had anything altered before. I researched a lot of places and was shocked by the prices. I'd seen ASAP Alterations in the mall so I swung by to check out prices. Totally reasonable, especially compared to some other places. The next concern was whether they would do a good job, considering the lower price. My total time in the shop was under 5 minutes, including getting pinned up. A week later (I didn't need it right away) I nervously picked it up. In the car I looked at the shirt and couldn't see any changes. It looked the same as when I'd dropped it off. For half a second i worried they actually hadn't done anything at all. But they had. They did it so perfectly I couldn't even tell. The seams are..well..seamless. It was a trouble-free experience and absolutely worth the money. read more

Not a good experience there when I used them for the first time so I do not plan on ever going back. Needed the hem of a bridesmaid dress taken in. The dress had an outer and inner layer and they only made changes to the inner layer. Now the dress is uneven and is still too long! The woman I dealt with was not very friendly either. My roommate went the next day to have next day alterations made to his pants. We both requested the same service, the pants hemmed. They stressed to him that even though it was named ASAP Alterations, next day tailoring would be a surcharge, but they charged him LESS than I was charged. I had a bridesmaid dress altered here. I needed the alteration because the dress looked terrible on me - though I had been measured before ordering it, it was way too big on me and just looked like a potato sack. Having heard good things about this place, I came in, and after measuring me one of the ladies provided a reasonable quote and appointment to pick it up in a week. The main reason I knocked off a star is that when I showed up a week later at the appointment time, I saw one of the ladies working on the dress. She asked if I could return a little later and, while it's not that big of a deal, the mall was packed at the time and I really didn't want to be there. And, I didn't want her to rush with anything else that had to be done to the dress. So I waited, and was skeptical. However when I tried it on, what had looked previously like a potato sack fit perfectly. What is most important I think is the fact that the price was reasonable and the work was well done, and for this reason I will be back.
