I absolutely love KAD! They altered my wedding dress and did such a fantastic job. Extremely affordable and they'll do extra cute things as well. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will from now on come here with any alterations I need! read more

The ladies at KAD are ALWAYS the best! They are so sweet and kind when coming to the store. I've brought multiple clothes items to be altered over the years and every time, I've had an INCREDIBLE experience. The clothes are always perfect and the customer service is superb. I'm always surprised by how affordable the service is too! 10/10 could not recommend them enough! Take all your clothes to get altered by KAD! read more

I have had jeans hemmed, tuxedo pants tapered, and two sport coats taken in on the sides. All of it came out perfect. I am glad I found a new tailor after my other one closed up after Covid. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business. I have been using them since 2008 both for alterations and upholstery. They always do a good job, very upfront about when the job will be finished and their prices are very reasonable. They are perfectionist with their work. read more

I had three cushions "restuffed " and they did a great job - they are like new. Price was great and they finished when they said they would. Would definitely come back ! read more

They do good work but prices are high and time to get things done is pretty long. Took over 3 weeks to get some shorts re-hemmed

I recently took several of my work pants in to be altered and was very pleased with their work! They done a good job in a timely fashion. If you are looking for someone to do some alterations for you... This is the place! Very friendly! read more

We took my daughter's homecoming dress here to be altered. The staff were so so sweet and did an excellent job. The price was reasonable and it was ready when she said! read more

Horrible business to work with. They can't get anything done in less than a month and argue with you about what you want done. Make the drive the Austin. Save yourself the aggrivation. read more

My wife has been going to KAD since we arrived here in 2009. The ladies there are very friendly and are very knowledgeable. Their prices are, in my opinion, very reasonable and they do excellent, timely work. I have even had them make pillow cases for my body pillow, because I can't find "ready made" cases with the fabric I want (satin). read more

She didn't want my biz here. :( I needed a shirt totally resized for work, but immediately, the lady said it was going to be expensive. Then, I said, "that's ok, I need it." She said maybe $28-$30. I said ok, how long will it take ? She said, "maybe 2/3 weeks. We very busy." I said ok, but she said "we are very busy with wedding season." So, now I understand that she doesn't want my business . I did find another business in RR that would alter my shirt for same price. They are also very busy b/c of weddings, but this lady said that if I needed my shirt sooner than 2 weeks, to call her. I look FWD to having my shirt from biz in RR! read more

Never been disappointed. Used them for years when I lived in Georgetown. Now I live in Leander and will occasionally when I have something important travel that way to get terrific work done in my alterations. They are the best! read more

They do outstanding work on clothing as well as upholstery, drapes, and bedding. I have used them for years and never been disappointed.

Super friendly and great work! They are busy so keep that in mind but totally worth the wait

Friendly staff and great service. Everything I have had altered here looked professionally done!

I ripped my son's comforter while trying to wash it and thought I ruined it. I tried calling places and got either really high prices or it sounded like really bad work. I called KAD and no one answered, but it does not affect my recommendation since I am very happy with the results. So, I went in, and they gave me several options to repair the comforter. Then they tell me it is going to be a week which is what everyone is telling me so I accept it - but a week seems like a long time. When I pick it up, they put a new patch on the comforter that perfectly matched the rest. The sewing style was even the same, and it was hand sown, it was awesome workmanship. I was impressed. read more

KAD is amazing!! They have done my daughter's cheer uniforms for two yrs now & have almost had to completely remake them. Despite the massive amount of work that had to be done, they came thru quickly & everything looked exactly as it should! They have also altered a couple of formal dresses for me, which have also turned out wonderfully...& their prices are always just as great as their work. I highly recommend them for any project, big or small! read more

I brought in a dress to wear for an event that was too small through the hips, and asked if they could let it out. I was told that it could be done. I came back a week later to pick it up, tried it on, and immediately discovered that it was still tight through the hips. I was told that the dress had "skinny seams," and that next time I was at a store, I should examine the seams to see if there is enough material to let a dress out. To which I replied, "I AM NOT A TAILOR. YOU ARE. IT'S NOT MY JOB TO INSPECT SEAMS. THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT THIS DRESS TO YOU." And not for nothing, it's not my goal to use a tailor...I actually try to find my real size when in a retail store. I loved the dress...it was too small...so I brought it to a tailor. I asked, "If there wasn't enough material, why not give me a call? "She simply smiled. I paid full price. No discount was offered. No attempt was made to make it right. Disgusted. Do yourself a favor and do not use this tailor. read more

I had my wedding dress altered here, and they did a fantastic job. The staff was meticulous in their alterations. I had a bustle and cap sleeves added, and the seamstress also tacked the lace overlay to the silk sheath so that it would lay perfectly even when bustled. I had several hiccups in my dress fitting due to the bridal salon sending the wrong material for sleeves, and KAD was patient and made sure everything was exactly how I pictured it. read more

I was blown out of the water by the amazing service I received here. Not only did they replace the zipper on my skirt flawlessly, they added the hook and eye that I knew it needed without even needing me to tell them, AND it was a rush job that they completed exactly on time and for incredibly reasonable prices. Plus, everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful. I couldn't possibly be happier, and I plan on becoming a regular customer. read more

Great place. I've taken several items here- from simple hems to more complex dress alterations. They always do a good job. If there is any question on fit they have me try on when I come to pick up or invite me to bring back if any problems. Very friendly staff. read more

My wife has always taken her dresses and clothes here, but I tried them for myself for the first time recently. Excellent service and attention to detail. A real honest business. Really super service. They are very accurate in their measurements and very reasonably priced. Yes, they are very busy but that is a good sigh. I went with this in mind so was not in a rush. I will continue using their excellent service. read more
