My wife has been going to KAD since we arrived here in 2009. The ladies there are very friendly and are very knowledgeable. Their prices are, in my opinion, very reasonable and they do excellent, timely work. I have even had them make pillow cases for my body pillow, because I can't find "ready made" cases with the fabric I want (satin). read more

She didn't want my biz here. :( I needed a shirt totally resized for work, but immediately, the lady said it was going to be expensive. Then, I said, "that's ok, I need it." She said maybe $28-$30. I said ok, how long will it take ? She said, "maybe 2/3 weeks. We very busy." I said ok, but she said "we are very busy with wedding season." So, now I understand that she doesn't want my business . I did find another business in RR that would alter my shirt for same price. They are also very busy b/c of weddings, but this lady said that if I needed my shirt sooner than 2 weeks, to call her. I ripped my son's comforter while trying to wash it and thought I ruined it. I tried calling places and got either really high prices or it sounded like really bad work. I called KAD and no one answered, but it does not affect my recommendation since I am very happy with the results. So, I went in, and they gave me several options to repair the comforter. Then they tell me it is going to be a week which is what everyone is telling me so I accept it - but a week seems like a long time. When I pick it up, they put a new patch on the comforter that perfectly matched the rest. The sewing style was even the same, and it was hand sown, it was awesome workmanship. KAD is amazing!! They have done my daughter's cheer uniforms for two yrs now & have almost had to completely remake them. Despite the massive amount of work that had to be done, they came thru quickly & everything looked exactly as it should! They have also altered a couple of formal dresses for me, which have also turned out wonderfully...& their prices are always just as great as their work. I brought in a dress to wear for an event that was too small through the hips, and asked if they could let it out. I was told that it could be done. I came back a week later to pick it up, tried it on, and immediately discovered that it was still tight through the hips. I was told that the dress had "skinny seams," and that next time I was at a store, I should examine the seams to see if there is enough material to let a dress out. To which I replied, "I AM NOT A TAILOR. YOU ARE. IT'S NOT MY JOB TO INSPECT SEAMS. THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT THIS DRESS TO YOU." And not for nothing, it's not my goal to use a tailor...I actually try to find my real size when in a retail store. I loved the dress...it was too small...so I brought it to a tailor. I asked, "If there wasn't enough material, why not give me a call? "She simply smiled. I paid full price. No discount was offered. No attempt was made to make it right. Disgusted. Do yourself a favor and do not use this tailor. read more

Not only did they replace the zipper on my skirt flawlessly, they added the hook and eye that I knew it needed without even needing me to tell them, AND it was a rush job that they completed exactly on time and for incredibly reasonable prices. I had my wedding dress altered here, and they did a fantastic job. The staff was meticulous in their alterations. I had a bustle and cap sleeves added, and the seamstress also tacked the lace overlay to the silk sheath so that it would lay perfectly even when bustled. I had several hiccups in my dress fitting due to the bridal salon sending the wrong material for sleeves, and KAD was patient and made sure everything was exactly how I pictured it. read more
