Usually visit the Midvale location or downtown and love it!! Unfortunately while I was in Orem I decided to stop in for dinner. Melanie as well as the other employees seem to have been having a bad day, it really was apparent by their service. Love me some J-Dawg, its all about the polish with sauce. The sauce to me is a mix between a lot of honey and a little BBQ sauce. Really good thou. One thing Ive noticed thou it seem the dogs are smaller then they used to be. Is it just me? its fair priced unless your hungry then they should have a little discount on buying two. My 5 year old and I LOVE this place! I get a double barbell 2 dogs on 1 bun. I can't get enough of their sweet sauce. It is so good, add some peppers, onion and a pickle and you're set for success. Best place to eat in town! My mouth waters when I just drive by this place! I'm hooked! Not only is the food the best but staff are great. I feel like they go out of their way to show appreciation to their customers. It makes the entire experience worth the stop. If you want a killer hot dog, J Dawgs is the place. I always get a beef dog with the "Special Sauce", which is a sweet bbq sauce of sorts, and banana peppers. The sauce is, in my opinion and probably most J Dawg patrons, what's makes a J Dawg a J Dawg. I have friends from out of state that crave J Dawgs. They also have both Coke AND Pepsi, which in my opinion, is the greatest thing ever. Definitely a place I would recommend for a light lunch or even dinner. read more

Well I had my first "JDawg w/ sauce" yesterday and what can I say? It was delicious! I got a Polish dog which was cooked on a grill to charred and juicy perfection. I am seriously impressed with the meat I was served up. It had a spicy kick - tasty! - and when I say it was juicy, I mean it literally dripped with melted fatty goodness. I'm also a big believer in a good bun. Happily, J Dawgs' buns deliver and are warm and chewy (in a good way). My only complaint (and others will condemn me for this, I'm sure) is the sauce. It wasn't BAD, it just wasn't blow-my-socks-off-I-can't-eat-another-hot-dog-without-it-good. By the end of the dog, the pool of sauce that was left made the last few bites overwhelmingly sweet. Not bad. But not my preference. Next time I'll be ordering my hot dog plain - maybe with onions - so I can better enjoy the amazing meat and fresh bread. MMmmmm... read more

PRESENTATION: The presentation was simple nothing so special. TASTE: The polish dog that we got tasted like the one we get at Costco.. I love the bun and the sauce, if I could get the sauce and the bun, I'll be set with any hot dog. SERVICE: The guy that took our order was friendly, when we were getting our hot dog it took us a minute cause the other employees were just standing around talking when there was a line. Its suppose to be fast and quick and not be standing there waiting. VALUE: The value for the polish dog that is not even a foot long was like $3.50 I could get a foot long somewhere else for a like a $1. read more

This is without question, bar-none the best hot-dog on the planet. Order the polish "dawg" with the special sauce. The special sauce is a must!!! If you don't have that, you are wasting your time. ALSO they have one of the best GLUTEN FREE buns I have ever had! They are amazing. Even if you don't like the sauce, the bun is worth the trip if someone is sensitive to gluten. If you are ever a Costco, buying a hotdog and you think to yourself, "gee, I really wish I could have this covered in liquidized brown sugar, jalapenos, banana peppers,and a pickle" then this place is for you. If you just want deli mustard and sauerkraut on your hotdog, stick with costco. Same hotdog, half the price, and you get a drink. But I admit, it is rather nice sometimes to get a hotdog that is a little more out of the ordinary and for 3 or 4 bucks, it is certainly not a big sacrifice. read more

You can never go wrong with JDawgs. It's hard to get me to eat a hot dog with jalapeños and sauerkraut but that's the way I like it here! Also, their pickles are strangely delicious, not sure why. If I had to sum up my dining experience in one word it would be unimpressive. The menu is simple, only two options. I didn't think the hot dogs were much better than a Ballpark or Nathan's flavor wise. They are large for a hot dog but still over priced in my opinion. read more

Came in today for the first time ever my fiancé looooves this place but I have celiac so I never thought about going there, I figured I would just get a dog without the bun then I saw the sign for the gluten free bun, usually I'm skeptical about getting gluten free stuff from restaurants but I figured I try it anyway, the girl that made my food came up to me while I was waiting and said she was gonna wash her hands first and change gloves, that was a HUGE deal cause it really shows how well employees are trained on food allergies, then I saw that the bun was individually wrapped, such a huge plus as well! I felt that I could eat my meal from there without worrying about getting sick.... 4 hours later and I still feel awesome so thank you for your efforts on taking a persons allergy serious we will definitely be back way more often!! read more

My wife and I both love J Dawgs. $3.50 doesn't get you much these days with the exception of a fantastic tasting and filling J Dawg. The special sauce toots my horn every time. We used to live in Logan and if we were ever passing through Utah Valley we'd stop at J Dawgs. read more

The hot dogs were good and the service was pretty quick. There was a person on the staff who came out while we were eating and kicked some chairs around and was very disruptive. He was slamming doors, etc., generally making an idiot out of himself. read more
