DONT COME HERE!!! by far the WORST! Experience ever with wienerschnitzel, I ordered 2 orders of the 6 dollar deal (2 chilli cheese dogs and chilli cheese fries) the food looked like shit and gave me some crushed hotdog bun and barely any chilli cheese, the fries were the same. I waited 30 minutes just for them to give me some shitty food and a refund at the end because it didn't look how it's supposed to at all. Been eating this since a kid and this was by far the worst experience ever. GET NEW MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES because they all dumb, can't handle rush, and are slow and don't try with anything. Love this place! I had 2 chili dogs and a fry. My husband had the special one chili burger, one chili cheese dog and a chili fry. His came with a drink as well. I had water. The total cost for us came to a little over $17. Great value for the price and quality of the food. The floor was being mopped as we arrive. Everything was clean and orderly. We were greeted with a smile and thanked for coming in as we paid. We have a lot of experience with Wienerschnitzel as we started dating and went there often in our courtship 40 years ago (Midvale location). That is where I purposed to my husband we are still going strong and believe part of the reason is our mutual love of their incredible chili dogs, burgers etc. When can we get one in Saratoga Springs? read more

the owner of this place is a cheap skate and hires highschool kids who dont last long, every time its someone new and the owner is there sometimes trying to train people. he really should just hire some adults and pay them properly i think hed see more return customers. i like the food but the service is absurd because of the aforementioned points. read more

I observed two employees preparing them with bare hands. I didn't want to raise a fuss so I waited until after the lunch rush to call the manager. He was, at most, unconcerned. I had to really look for the sour kraut on my kraut dog. I kid you not, there was hardly any on the hot dog. The dog itself looked all wrinkly. And yet I still like the hot dogs. I like that the Pepsi machine is now in the dining room so you can refill your own drinks. The chili dog was good and the ratio of chili was good. The mini corn dogs were hot and good. The fries were a bit stale. I like the fries when they're hot but if they aren't fresh, yuck. The deluxe dog was good but it had lots of onions, not a problem I just picked the extra onions off. I left this Wienerschnitzel a great review on google a few months ago. NOT today! They forgot 2 corn dogs from the corn dog combo. I got all the way home, started feeling my kids and realized it. Drove all the way back and they refused to give me them because I didnt have the receipt. Even with a receipt I could have been lying and had them at home, so that makes no damn sense! I literally was just talking to their drive threw girl 10 min earlier! Why should I make 6 trips there for 2 shitty corn dogs! I checked online to see what some good grub to get on A Sunday night. I saw google said wienerschnitzel was open until 10. It was 8:40. So I hopped in the car and drove out. They have all the lights on. I get there and sit and wait at the drive through. No one says anything for a minute. So I say "Hello?" No answer. I wait some more and ask again, no answer. I sit for maybe another minute and then just drive to the window. They all start giving me the thumbs down hand gestures like " no food for me. So I ask them "your closed?" So he reluctantly opens the window and points at the little paper they put on their window saying new hours. Well, that's great and all, but why wouldn't you try to change your google information? So they close an hour earlier at 9. So I look at my phone and it says 9 pm on the dot. I was sitting in drive through for at least five minutes, so they obviously are not going by that time. They didn't care, obviously. It was just so frustrating to drive 15 minutes to get my family food and they not only close an hour early, but decided to close earlier than that. And then to act like I am bothering them. I just don't know what has happened to all the fast food restaurant. They all just don't care anymore. I love the 'Schnitzel. I have been coming here since high school. The food is just generic hot, chili dogs, but the thing I like about this particular location is that it is always clean. I mean, it seems to always stay spotless. I like that the buns are always soft here too. If you don't care for chili, they have decent burgers too. read more

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the food they serve here, but I am constantly impressed at how friendly the staff are. We're always greeted when we arrive and thanked when we leave. One time, the corn dogs were taking a little longer than usual, so the guy threw in some free drinks. Pretty impressed and may be eating here again soon. read more

Wienerschnitzel barely even rates these 2 stars, but it may be good in a pinch - only if you need a cheap hot dog fix. Service is usually bad, and the food hasn't changed in years! Nothing superior about the quality here, it's truly mediocre food that was only good in high school, when it was cheap. It's not so cheap anymore. read more
