    Asad tacos and cheese enchiladas

I been coming here for years for the real authentic Mexican food. The enchiladas and burritos are delicious!

I order from Door Dash ,I specified that I wanted Green chilaques they sent mix , they did not have the specific drink,I wanted. The beans were all over the plate and the food was super greasy !! Not worth paying almost $20. Very disappointed!! Wanted to try a new place, but yeah!!

Food was good and prices are reasonable. The only real issue I had was how hot and stuffy it is in here. I'm sweating wating my food and i'm literally right against the door. This place could use a fan or 2. Anywho, when I arrived it was not busy so service was quick. From arrival to eating- about 15 mins. Portions are a good size and a true value for the money. I'd return again, preferably at night , when its (hopefully) a bit fresher.

All I can say is the owners are so sweet and attentive the vibe kinda reminds you of your abuelitas house and the food taste like it too, best authentic Mexican food I've been to in a while

Ordered delivery and there were several issues: 1. Ordered a cheese quesadilla for a vegetarian and it came with meat. 2. Did not receive some items I ordered. 3. Ordered two jericalla and they were both MOLDY!! Absolutely disgusted..

I'm a little apprehensive in trying out different Mexican food locations, for many reasons, but yet I was very happy I came here. The one thing that stood out here was their Hospitality that I received during my visit. They made me feel like I was at home. The server and the owner really did a great job in catering to all their guests. This little spot only seats about 20 people if that.So its never about the size, its what you do with it that makes it work. All your meals are served with chips and salsa and the salsa is a little bit spicy. All their food is made to order, just like you would receive like you where at home. You can see them make you meal, depending on where you sit.The plates for all their dishes are very appealing and most of all delicious. So I have another little spot in the Valley. A plus for your Hospitality and service, and the Quality of your food.Great Job. 2015 Yelp Challenge.046/100

    Chicken enchiladas...very disappointing

I do not understand how this place has 4 stars. This is the 2 or 3rd time I've ordered from Izzy's and it's consistently disappointing. Done giving them chances. The chicken in my enchiladas was non existent and dry. My husband's shrimp burrito has shells in it and they used bay shrimp. The smallest cheapest shrimp you can find. They were so small my husband called them Cup O noodle shrimp. Just ridiculous. Who is eating this food and giving it more than 1 or 2 stars? I'm being generous by giving them 2.

I was really craving shrimp enchiladas and this place fulfilled it! Small family-run joint with many options available. The enchilada stuffing was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of cheese and salsa. Comes with rice & beans; the rice was standard but the beans were superb! Not what I expected because they were lighter brown than typical pinto beans. Will come back soon!

AMAZING HOMESTYLE MEXICAN FOOD! Eating here right now for the first time and it's better than I imagined it would be after reading the reviews. We ordered the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo and the Enchiladas Verdes con pollo. Each bite is heaven. The green sauce is obviously made from scratch and has the best flavor. The garlic shrimp have just the right amount of garlic and lemon, and they add red onions which brings the flavors together perfectly. They also have homemade corn tortillas that came with the shrimp which were tasty. Definitely coming back to try everything on the menu! Huge plus: The cooks are women! Yay!

This little Mexican Café ran by three ladies who do both serving and cooking is a one of a kind here in Reseda. Specializing in seafood and Soup's. Their enchilada with the green sauce seems to be their signature hit and I must say it's probably one of the best enchiladas and green sauce ever. Very cheap and has an authentic feel of being in some back street in Mexico somewhere.

Been ordering here online for a while. Burritos usually $8. Came in person, and charged me $12? Better to just order online.

Tierra Caliente is almost glitzy for a humble Mexican food truck, but what really shined amidst the colorful truck and lights were the food! I had the Burrito supreme (adds avocado and sour cream) stuffed with rice, beans, onions, and my protein of choice, Al Pastor. It was just so amazing that I almost didn't need to add any salsa. The Al Pastor was tender and juicy, and perfectly seasoned. There's no need for pineapple in this one! It was so filling AND fulfilling! The Carne Asada Quesadilla we shared was also incredible. It actually reminded me a little bit of the best smash burger in terms of its balance of crispiness and savoriness. This was not some thin, dry Quesadilla, that's for sure! All in all, we left so satisfied and we have to give a shout out to the friendliest folks working there at midnight! They made it feel like we're eating with neighbors!

A plus is it's right next to the grocery store, so parking is easy. Simple & casual. My brother and husband got burritos and both rated them a 3/5. For us, the price point just didn't feel worth it.

At 8 p.m. on a Tuesday, there was only a short, fast-moving line at this taco truck right next to Winnetka Park. It's walking distance from my house, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Three tacos (two carne asada, one lengua) came out to $5.30, which is standard pricing in L.A. The food was out within five minutes. Their to-go orders come wrapped up in foil and a plastic bag. The meat left a little something to be desired. The asada wasn't as plentiful as the lengua, and it tasted salty more than anything. The limes and medium salsa could not help with that. On the other hand, the lengua was soft, cooked well, and complemented by the grilled onions and lime. I was also impressed by their inclusion of limes, radish, grilled onions, and grilled serrano peppers in separate packages, all for no extra cost. Their lime supplier, whoever they are, is amazing -- the ones I had were very fresh and plump. Convenience wins out over quality in this case, and it's a fine choice for anyone looking for a roadside Mexican food fix. Parking by the park and abundant housing is a well-played call.
