food not so good. First of all it took a long time to get the food ready. They only had water, no air conditioner not fans. No napkins no follow up was done. The place was cluttered with things in the dinning room however the people were really nice ! We will never go there again, perhaps management can do a better job making the place a little cozy, if they cannot afford air conditioning at least some fan and clear all the stuff in the dinning room that is not belong there. In addition, when patrons go tell them ahead of time and do not wait until food is ordered to tell them what they don't have and remember, personal touch is important follow up to ensure they do not need anything else. read more

They will cook exactly what you want, even if you need to customize orders, they will do what they can to accommodate changes. Definitely go here if you are craving homemade Mexican food. Food was good and prices are reasonable. The only real issue I had was how hot and stuffy it is in here. I'm sweating wating my food and i'm literally right against the door. Went to Izzy's Cafe with a friend and I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the chicken enchiladas in green sauce with rice and beans and he got some chicken tacos and rice. The food was pretty good, actually quite flavorful. My enchiladas were filled with a lot of shredded white chicken meat, cheese and topped with a really tasty green sauce. I choose the green because the red sauce is apparently spicy. I would come back here to eat because not only is the food pretty good and fairly cheap, but its one of the few places around here that's open early that serves their full menu. Stringy meat, frijoles tasted like fish, and the rice is not Spanish rice, but white rice that fell into chicken broth for a few seconds. They alaso didn't have a few items I ordered, so they replaced them with terrible tacos. And they didn't have the Jarritos flavor I ordered, so they replaced that with one I can't stand. We ordered the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo and the Enchiladas Verdes con pollo. Each bite is heaven. The green sauce is obviously made from scratch and has the best flavor. The garlic shrimp have just the right amount of garlic and lemon, and they add red onions which brings the flavors together perfectly. The menu items you have to try are their chicken enchiladas or their shrimp enchiladas. They come with your standard rice, beans and salad. The taste is just like home, and melts in your mouth. This little Mexican Café ran by three ladies who do both serving and cooking is a one of a kind here in Reseda. Specializing in seafood and Soup's. Their enchilada with the green sauce seems to be their signature hit and I must say it's probably one of the best enchiladas and green sauce ever. I called the restaurant (btw, they get a 5+ stars!!) to let them know I placed an order with yelp and wanted to order one more item. They didn't have it according to Tere at the restaurant. I never receive a confirmation but $42.50 is pending to be taken out of my checking. Tere took my order and will deliver by 10:30-10:45 tomorrow. They cancel orders because the prices aren't written correctly on the apps to deliver. I only give ratings after three visits, I've had come here before many times. Great food, very delicious. Only recently I have ordered only a few plates to go, don't remember the girls name. Took an hour and 20 minutes (yes I looked at the time as I always do everywhere) once the food is ready. I go up to her and ask for a refund or some kind of compensation for waiting so long. (When usually it takes half an hour or less) She replies "leave the food, you don't have to pay" I was In shock, Ive waited for over an hour to hear this girl say this to me. Otherwise I would have been gone a long time ago. I asked her if she was serious (she only thought of what she told me, while i asked her really why tell me that after the long wait) why would she tell me to leave (basically) after waiting so long for it, disrespectful. Why else would we have waited so long. If this girl is present, leave. She doesn't know crap about customer service. So this rating is only on this girl. (big or thick boned...) Wow. Annette and I went for our New Year's breakfast. A good way to start 2013. I had the fish seasoned with garlic. Pardon my gringo translation. I forgot the Spanish for it . It came with delicious spicy seafood soup, salad, vegetables, rice, tortillas. All really good. Also chips that I did not eat. I have paid a lot more for a lot less quality and quantity.
