Delivery Review Hott broth plenty of goodies! Flavorless broth aka WATER AND VERY LITTLE meat. Literally 2 oz of brisket!! That's not ok! We will not order again

I've been coming here for a long time, and it's been amazing to see how much they've improved and revamped everything over the years. The place looks great, and the quality has only gotten better. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they truly make you feel valued every time you walk in. We always feel like VIPs here. Great food, great service, and great people--highly recommend!

Always good to be here! best pho in the valley! Friendly Staff and the best boba! Me and my wife choose this spot anyday!

Update; Their Prices went up, mostly $14+ and they've changed the look of their menu - no more pictures...and honestly, I don't like it. We love to eat out but I like to see pictures of the food because it helps me visualize and decide what I want to eat. Since their menu changed, it was so hard for me and my fam to decide - like we literaly took time because we were depending on the description on the menu, however, some of the dishes name were in vietnamese and that was even harder for non-vietnamese people like us. Also, while I was in the middle of eating my food, the customer on the next table walked over to me and asked what I was eating and she also told the server that it was so hard for her to choose because the menu was changed and that they also liked the ones with the pictures.... As for the service, it's the same - the staff here are always nice and helpful and the ambience, it the same as well, neat and clean. Food tasted great!

Whenever in the area, we always come here especially during the cold and rainy seasons. I haven't been in a while so I was very surprised to see they've updated the entire restaurant. It looks very clean, simple but very pleasing to the eyes. We always get a big bowl of soup which I can never finish so I take home half of it. Broth is very flavorful and delicious. Meat is tender. Veggies are fresh. Service is fast. Free parking in the back of the restaurant.

Cold night, perfect for a hot bowl of pho. This spot was conveniently on my way home from work, which made it an easy choice. There's a dedicated parking lot behind the restaurant--always a plus. The interior is huge, and the servers were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the large bowl of Pho Dac Biet along with cha gio. The broth was clear, flavorful, and leaned slightly on the sweeter side, which I enjoyed. The egg rolls were tasty and nicely done as well. While nothing quite beats pho in the SGV, this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the SFV.

This was our go-to pho for the last decade, but over time, the quality waned and we transitioned to Pho So 1... BUT since the new ownership, the tables and menus have changed for the better, as well as the food! Pho Dac Biet was $12 and Goi Cuon was a whopping ~$7. The broth is now clearer and has more depth in flavor. Parents and I are a fan! However, the meat:noodle ratio kinda lacking; it could use more meat. The sauce for the goi cuon wasn't our fave and the rolls themselves weren't bad. On a Tuesday afternoon, we got seated immediately as there were only a handful of tables occupied. Service is relatively fast. Will pass on the goi cuon next time, but def coming back for the pho

This is my FAVORITE spot. Consistently great food every time. The pho broth is top tier, and the egg rolls are perfectly crunchy and full of flavor. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the space is clean and inviting. I've tried so many pho spots all over LA, and this is the one. The broth is clean and rich, and the noodles are always cooked to the perfect consistency.

Not worth eating here. The food is just bad, nothing can help it. There is no quality control too. I have not been here in a long time, and now I remember why.... The food is not good! And nothing has changed. The egg rolls were probably the best thing, and even then, it was mainly filler inside. The fish sauce is horrible! Who the heck made that?! Must be old as heck? Bad bad bad taste. Even adding lime and garlic chili couldn't really help it! Inside is spacious, and we went on a rainy day, it should have been packed! Nope, it was quite empty, why? We should had known and just walked back out, but we tried.... The pho broth was weak and not great, so I asked for nuoc beo which translates to water fat, the fat on top of the broth, all the flavor.. still not great. The meat was not cooked long enough, it was very hard and chewy. We ended up leaving most of the food and just calling it quits to go eat elsewhere.

As always, their Food was amazing, and big portions. Literally a large pho could feed a family of 3. And that Yang Chow Fried rice is a MUST HAVE!! The fried egg roll w Fish sauce too, my wife would literally crave that fish sauce. Thats why we're here atleast once a month. Service was always amazing and the ambiance is a family friendly with lots of space in dining area

I don't eat pho but my boyfriend does, so when he feels like eating pho I will happily accompany him and get a rice dish. Sadly for me this time when my food comes out my meat is cold, like it had been waiting out for a while. This was really upsetting on top of the fact that we waited a long time to order. However I did order some pork rolls and those were warm and delicious so I was happy to fill myself up a little with those!

A local Vietnamese pho spot! I like that this spot uas had a nice interior remodeling! The lighting is brighter and wakes you up when you come here for a late dinner. It also seems like the TV was upgraded too. Ambiance is calm and relaxing everytime one comes here. Easy process with choosing what you want from their laminated menus. Staff here are full of smiles and bring out your food quick. It feels like the pork chop plate has kind of slowly gotten more bland, (same with the egg rolls strangely) but they are still yummy. Pho here is pretty adequate, I usually add more sauce and flavors with the condiments left on the table. Pretty easy dining experience and there's metered parking (but you need to pay, unless after 8pm!) plus a parking lot in the back.

My husband and I are frequent visitors here, and the pho is absolutely amazing--just like the bowls we grew up with back home in Vietnam. We love that we can mix and match and customize the meat combination depending on what we're craving that day, and even order an extra bowl of meat when we're feeling extra hungry. The manager has noticed that we're regulars, which makes the experience even more special. He's given us free drinks when our family came to visit, and once even surprised us with an extra bowl of ribeye bone--so delicious and incredibly thoughtful. It's little gestures like these that make us want to keep coming back. The food is consistently flavorful and comforting, exactly what we expect every single time. This has truly become our go-to spot whenever we miss pho and can't think of anywhere else to go. We always bring our family here when they're in town, and we never leave without full, happy bellies and warm hearts

They are stuffed with pork and Chinese and are absolutely delicious. We also got a half order of the Korean Fried Chicken. It was piping hot and very crispy. The kimchi steamed buns were next. King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables is huge, fluffy and bouncy. The taste of the filling was okay. The dim sum was a good size and looked pretty. Hard to pick up with chopsticks without the bottom breaking. The bottom was really delicate so using a spoon makes it easier. The Marinaded Beef $15.99 (half order) was perfect with rice. Complimentary small Sides: kimchi, pickled radish and cabbage salad. I really liked the pickled radish. This place is tucked away in a strip near the Northridge Promenade Shopping Center. Brent's Deli is an institution in the San Fernando Valley, and it may just be its best. One thing…read morefor sure, the portions are generally humongous so you will never leave hungry. Nothing succeeds like excess. In fact, most people will need a take out box for one less meal to cook. Delicatessen means delicate eating in German, but at a Jewish American Delicatessen, the emphasis is on the Eating, which I am not complaining. 1) I requested an off menu item of having a Reuben sandwich where half is Corned Beef and the other Pastrami. Brent's Reuben has warm Sauerkraut, grilled Rye bread, melted Swiss Cheese, 1,000 Island dressing. Thinly sliced, multi-layered Mound of Pastrami is a bit on the dry side. Curing doesn't create a deep meaty Umami and spicing is present but attenuated. The Corned Beef is moister with bit more Umami & plush, thin multi-layered red colored meat. I have to say the Pastrami at Langer's is cured more intensely to bring out a deep Umami as well as more complex and complementary spicing of especially warm spiced cloves that adds aromatic richness. Brent's Pastrami doesn't seem to reach that kind of apotheosis. 1b) I asked for the steak fries to be fried two minutes longer for a crisper finish which was honored. Not much in way of that distinctive potato earthiness, but acceptable. 1c) Coleslaw is mayonnaise based, watery, bland, but a good cruciferous, fibrous veggie to add more fibre, healthful phytochemicals to counter the meat overload even though it isn't flavourful 2) Carrot Cake is closer to a delicate, dense, moist spice cake. A slice is enormous since it is cut from an extra tall cake studded with crushed walnuts and a cream cheese like not too sweet frosting. At $14 it could feed 4 people. Service is fine. They take your order and run with it. Bit of tunnel vision where it may be a bit hard to flag them down. But the job does get done. Overall 3+ stars

Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.
