I was looking forward to this but I was a bit disappointed by the soft tofu pot. It lacked flavor,depth and tasted watered down. Nothing like how I remembered it when it was BCD. Surprisingly the seafood pancake was excellent. Arguably the best I've had in a long time. Perfect balance of crispy exterior with a soft interior. Enjoyed the side dishes especially the fried yellow croaker.
We got the galbi combo with soon tofu soup. Forgot to get a picture of the soup but it was very delicious and had a lot of flavor. The galbi marinade was yummy but the meat itself was pretty chewy and not great quality. Side dishes were just ok and the service was a bit slow

Came here on a Saturday around noon. There was a decent amount of parking in the small parking lot. It was me and my dad, sister, niece, and boyfriend in the party. We were greeted immediately upon entering and sat with a high chair for my niece. Service was so friendly and thorough throughout the whole service, We decided to get the A2 tofu japchae, B1 seafood pancake, B8 spice cold noodle, C2 bulgogi combo with medium spice beef soon tofu, and a C11 chicken cutlet combo with mild spice assorted (beef, clam, shrimp) soon tofu. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. Good portions and they replenished our banchan throughout the meal. I would definitely come here again and would get everything we tried again as well. The soon tofu was definitely the star of the show, with even the mild being very flavorful. I would go extra spicy if it was just me eating. A little more on the pricier side for me but worth it since there aren't comparable options nearby me!! Will definitely be back.

The menu features a ton of traditional Korean dishes and our eyes lit up! We decided to try their Katsu chicken, cold noodle, pork belly, and kimchi beef soup. Along with our orders, the banchan was plentiful! I enjoyed the fresh options to compliment the rich and steamy plates. Everything was hearty, and flavorful. Some of my favorite bites included the chicken katsu which had beautiful crisped texture, and soft cooked chicken. I also enjoyed the japchae and cold noodle. The noodles of course were also large portions. I liked that they also served grilled mackerel. It was smoky, and slightly salty. We left stuff, and highly satisfied with all the food. I'd highly consider returning for a Korean cuisine fix. The value is very good, service is outstanding, and it's so conveniently close to where we live.
I loooovvveee their hot stone bibimbap. It comes with the soon tofu soup. The servers are soo cute korean and they taught me how to mix the sauces to make the bibimbap more tasty and i am hooked. They give free side dishes that are too perfect for a great meal. Love this place!
The Galbi and tofu combo is my go-to. The perfect bite is a bit of sizzling beef with onions, a scoop of rice and hot soup. Build that into one bite with some tofu and egg yolk. Fantastic. Then some sides as a palette cleanser. Service here is quick and I haven't had any issues since the incident from a year ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is mom and pop. I craved tofu soup and some delicious galbi. I've gone here a few times with a group of friends and it always satisfies that craving!!! I recently came here with my girlfriend, and we both got the Galbi combo with a mild tofu soup plus beef. We were treated very well by the server and staff!!! Everything was quick and delicious. I really love how the mild tofu soap is not that spicy. The side of fish was tender and yummy. Definitely just be aware of fish bones. It is amazing that the dinner price is only a dollar more than lunch. I never mind coming back here again over the years!!! PS they refill the sides for you but you can't take them to-go!! Great little Korean restaurant. The staff are super friendly and judging from the way they greeted everyone they have a lot of local repeat customers. I ordered the Spicy pork bulgogi combo which came with a tofu soup and a Cass to drink. The bulgogi was great, the soup wasnt the most flavorful but it was solid. The sides that come with the meal were also very good.
I have been looking for a place similar to BCD in the Valley and I feel like ABC is even better! I loved the amount of banchan they give you, especially the croaker. I love getting their meal combos because it is such an amazing deal. Everything thing I have tried here is amazing and really hits the spot when you're craving tofu soup. The service is great and they go out of their way to get you what you need! I love coming here and will definitely come back again!

The ahjumas serving us were as perky as ever. I think I have a new favorite -- the savory pancakes!! Parking is free but the lot is small.

When we came in, we were greeted then seated right away. Our table was set right away and water was brought out to our table. After we ordered, the sides came out. The food came out at a decent rate too, not much wait. The food was great, all good quality and tasty stuff. The spicy beef tofu was perfect, it was super delicious and very satisfying. ABC Tofu House is my go-to for comfort food. Service is on point, the aunties here are just warm, welcoming and very friendly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place could be cleaner but when the food hits, all else don't matter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I always get C3 combo and it always leave me feeling satisfied and fulfilled. Will always come back when I need a pick me up or good food for that matter! read more

Couldn't decide between rating this place 3 or 4 stars as I will definitely be back for the next time I'm craving soon tofu and this is a great place with various vegetarian options which is pretty rare at Korean spots, but the service was a bit mixed. I came in because I was craving cold noodles and has saw "jaengbanguksu" on the menu and got really excited and called ahead to make sure it could be made vegan friendly. But when I showed up, was sad to find out they changed the menu recently and they no longer have that dish (I asked). Also wanted to order the veg dumplings but they couldn't confirm if they had eggs in them or not which I thought was odd. They said they don't make the dumplings at the restaurant and someone else makes it and gives it to them so they don't know if there's eggs or not. I'm chalking up some of the issues to a language barrier/miscommunication, but service was also kinda slow. I ended up ordering a mushroom tofu (without egg) which was delicious and it really hit the spot. For anyone who's vegan, the only banchan that's vegan-friendly are the bean sprouts and spinach. The kimchi and cucumber both have fish sauce and the fish is fish. Overall, the food was good and my experience probably would've been better if I simply wanted soon tofu but I was being an atypical customer - so still worth giving this place a try! read more
It's been a while since we last dine in an authentic K restaurant. We ordered Galbi and yellow corvina combo meal. Meat is flavorful and juicy but the portion is quite small. The fish is also medium size cooked right. They greeted us in a welcoming manner and checking on us if we needed anything else. Gave us menus, drinks and banchan while we wait for our meals. Been here twice. Used to drive down to SD from IE all the time to go to any Tofu House for some good old soon dubu. Options here in the SFV are limited but can always count on ABC to hit the spot. Plus, one of the very rare places that serves raw crab. Gotta drive out to K-town for that. Unfortunately they only have the spicy raw crab and I prefer the soy marinated version. But still a delicious and less expensive alternative than driving out to dLA. And the portion for the combo was HUGE! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is on par with any other tofu house or more of a Ma & Pa Asian restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is quick and friendly. I have yet to need to use the restrooms, so I can't speak to that. Parking is a small shared kinda corner lot. I've never had issues. read more

Still my favorite place to eat tofu soup. The 2 wonderful waitresses are my friends now. I've been coming here for over a decade. Love how they've gotten better. Even the tofu soup tastes more amazing. All the food I've tried is really good and they're so nice once they open up. Tried and true. Best place to get all the Korean dishes. Today we got our fix for soon tofu, bibimbap, and galbi. I like that their medium spice is actually medium and spicy is actually spicy. Very fast and attentive service. Im so lucky that I don't live too far from here. Very good! read more

I came in, and they said it was a 15 minute wait time. Another couple came in they said the same thing. We both got seated at the same time but they were served and were eating while no one even checked on us for another 20 minutes. When we finally got to order, we had to spicy tofu soups with beef. We waited an additional 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When it did the Hispanic server was apologetic that we didn't get any of the banchan, or water. Then as I went to crack the egg into my soup, the shell fell in and when I went to grab my spoon to fish it out the Asian server dipped her fingers into my soup to get it out. I never asked for help, and it was so unsanitary for her to touch my food with her bare hands. The two Asian servers were very unapologetic and didn't care about our table at all. No one ever checked in on us, we didn't even get napkins. We had to walk to another table and grab them from there. When they dropped off the check they never told us to pay at the table or at the front. After a few minutes of waiting, we fingered they wouldn't come back so we went to the front to pay. Poor service. The tofu in the soup smelled funky and old. I've had this dish in so many other restaurants and this by far was the worst. I won't be coming back. read more

My friends and I just happened to be driving past this spot, unable to agree on a dinner restaurant, and we decided on a whim to pop in! This restaurant is a similar style to the BCD tofu house found in SoCal, you order a combo with a Korean meat dish and a tofu soup dish, with ban Chan served on the side. The galbi combo is the most expensive at $31 , and the bulgogi combo is $29. Average/normal prices for a mid tier Korean spot. However, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved this, MUCH CLEANER than most Korean spots in this price range.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved BCD tofu house for years, but the menus and tables were always a bit grimy and sticky, ABC tofu house was very clean. The service was speedy and prompt, we were immediately seated, our orders taken within minutes, and we had hot food on the table within 15 minutes of arriving in the restaurant. The ban Chan is 5 dishes + mackerel, I wish there was a little bit more, I like the big spread of 9-10 ban chan dishes, but 5 is sufficient! More importantly, all the ban Chan was fresh and tasty, no limpy sad kimchi or soggy cucumbers. The bulgogi was great, it looked a little sad to be honest and it does in the pics too, but it was flavorful and very tasty. The kimchi had an unusual flavor that I was unfamiliar with, it was not my favourite, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to make it clear, there was nothing wrong at all with the kimchi, I believe they just use an ingredient I am unfamiliar with so it tasted a little different than my usual kimchi, but it was very fresh. I ordered the kimchi tofu soup, I would probably change my order next time to a less kimchi focused soup flavor, but it was very good. My friends were very pleased as well, they both got the galbi combo with plain soup and they finished everything. My friend was also thrilled because there is chicken soup on the menu here, not typical for most Korean spots in our experience, usually they offer veg, seafood, beef and pork soup. Good option for chicken eaters. ABC tofu house stands with Koreatown restaurants, and surpasses some in this price point. I definitely suggest stopping in! TLDR - good food, good service, price and quality compares and surpasses same prices in K-town. Limited ban chan, but very fresh and good. Prompt service. Korean meat and tofu soup. read more
This place is like BCD Tofu took lessons from Spirit Airlines and rebranded as ABC. They nickel and dime you for everything, the eggs for soondubu, takeout containers... prices of dishes were increased with no prior warning, ie the menus we were given had one price for galbi, then we found another menu with a sharpie edit after receiving the bill with a higher charge. It was a weekday during lunchtime, but we were also charged dinner/weekend prices. Apparently they don't give the complimentary fish unless you explicitly ask for it, either. Other BCDs have always given it automatically. We assumed it wasn't available or would also cost extra since everything else was, I didn't see the table behind us get it either, and no staff mentioned it. At the end, the staff's explanation for not automatically including it with the order (or even mentioning it to you!) was "because it takes a while and not everyone wants to wait for it." What? Everyone else was receiving the fish with their soup just the same, with no additional delay! It really left a sour taste in my mouth. We actually arrived behind another party who I thought was in line, but turns out they were delayed because staff had them pay the wrong bill. Our order took a very long time to put in, as did requesting the bill. One of the soondubu orders came in wrong, but we overlooked it. The whole experience from beginning to end was just awkward. I don't usually care at all about service but this place was actively terrible, and worst of all, using deceptive practices. I don't mind paying more if it's disclosed with transparency, and if the good is good (it was mid). Going to BCD next time. read more

Hidden gem in the Valley! Authentic Korean food without the Ktown drive--yes, please. The naengmyeon was refreshing and flavorful, and the katsu was crispy and satisfying. Portions were generous and prices fair. Our server was super friendly and warm, and most of the customers seemed Korean, which is always a good sign. The place has a quirky charm--think weird ceilings and slightly dated vibes, but it somehow works. Big plus: there's free parking out front. Will definitely be back! read more

Been here a couple times already and it's my new go-to for Korean food. I get their combo with the raw marinated crab and tofu soup. The crab is better than the ones I've had in Ktown and the soup is great too. Also, you get your own fried mackerel when they give their other side dishes like bean sprouts and kimchi. Their service is always quick and consistent. And I notice they sound happy when they talk to their customers, not bored. I definitely recommend. I will be coming back again and again as long as they are around :) read more
