Wanted to try another Korean street food so we went here. We came around almost 7pm so parking was not too bad but it is in a small strip mall. The place is a cozy little mom and pop shop and the hostess/cashier was very adorable and lovely. She patiently taught us how to use the ramyun machine and we got our orders pretty quick. The snacks were just okay but they tasted comforting and they hit the Korean food craving just right! I liked the Ksweet fried chicken! My wife and I have passed by Seoul Time to and from our kid's baseball games so we decided one day to check out the new local spot. In an area dominated by hispanic and other asian food options, we were excited to see a Korean food spot pop up. Especially one that seemingly specializes in street food which I always prefer over a fine dining dish. The interior of the restaurant is very warm and inviting. All of the windows and it being situated on the end of the strip mall allows for a lot of natural light to flood in to the dining area. It's also small restaurant, but it's also roomy enough that I couldn't imagine it feeling cramped, even if it was full. There seemed to only be two people working while we were there, but they treated us very well. I believe one of them was the owner. A wonderfully friendly Korean gentleman who helped us decide on what we would try (we ended up trying several of their dishes). He was just lovely and full of good spirit. It really heightened the experience. In all, I wouldn't say the food was mind blowing, but it hit the spot. Everything tasted like they were coming from family recipes over just some cookbook. Portion sizes were good and everything came out hot and fresh. My only 'complaint' (& I put that in quotes because it's not really a complaint) is that they didn't have any corn dogs and I love a Korean corn dog. But hey, that's fine. It forced me to try new things and we walked out of there having had a lovely tasty meal. We will absolutely be back. I will say it's in a small strip mall so parking could be tight. I was craving some Korean fried chicken and found Seoul time which was close by. I called to order a pick-up of the 16 piece soy garlic wings and fries. The food wasn't ready when I arrived but the owner was very apologetic and nice. It seemed like the owner was the one doing all the cooking and they had a lot of orders. I didn't mind the wait because the owner was very nice. The inside is cute. It's a small mom and pop shop in the area, that was clean and had an area to pour your own sauces. The chicken itself was crispy, juicy, and very flavorful. The soy garlic marinate and sauce the wings were covered in was delicious, and the pieces of chicken were quite big. The fries were decent. I've pass this place quite a few times, I've seen them in a post in instagram,,,, so I asked myself maybe I should try them. And so we went.... Came here with wifey for lunch and I must say our dining experience was pretty good. At first, we were hesitant to come in coz the place looks boring and dull. Decorations are very simple, so are the menus which are in a standee in the front counter. The lady who takes the order doesn't even smile and greet you, lol! But don't be deceived until you order and take the first bite of their food. It was actually pretty darn good! We had the 6 piece garlic soy chicken, the korean beef rice and the tornado potato. Out of the 3, that beef rice was the best! So packed with flavor and very delicious. The beef was so tender, the sweetness and spice was perfect for my palate. Of all the tornado potato i've tried in my life, i think this one stands out. The blend of flavour and spice again was perfect. There's a hint of sweetness too. Now the chicken was little disappointing, yes the flavor is there, the garlic doesn't overpower the blend of sweet soy, the outer coating or breading was crunchy but a little hard and the meat of the chicken if without the sauce and the outer coating was bland. I had seen their ad on Facebook and it made me hungry to try them out. It took me a while to get here, but I finally did today and it was good! Two of us went for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The friendly lady at the counter answered my questions and I ordered the rice bowl with spicy Korean chicken and my companion ordered the rice bowl with teriyaki chicken. I'm a sucker for Korean convenience shops and stovetop ramen. I've been wanting to experience a self serve instant Ramen bar for a while now, but didn't want to make the drive to downtown. So when I found out it was in my city, I had to give it a try! Of course, the Ramen tastes the same as at home, but the visit with a friend on a cold day was perfect and so much fun. It was only 5.99$ and they also have ramune drinks for 3$ I believe. We had a sweet older lady explain to us how the stove top works. Guiding us through the entire process and kind of doing it all for us. This was so kind of her but my friend and I definitely would have preferred if we could do it alone with some instructions on a poster on a wall. First timer today. This is a review for a pick up to go order. They have a small menu but that means they can concentrate on freshness and quality of their ingredients. We ordered the 6 piece soy garlic wings and they are sticky goodness. Very crispy and not spicy, can't go wrong with these. Then we wanted to try the Tteokbokki it was like eating a spicy gummy worm. This is not a bad thing. It's a fun eating experience. We really enjoyed these along with the cabbage and egg that was in there also. We got the fried dumplings, these were amazing along with the vinegar based dipping sauce. I think this was my favorite of all of the items. Lastly we got a Small Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. A very generous bowl and good. It's basic but perfect if that is what you're in the mood for. I would definitely go back and try the other bowls and flavors of chicken wings. Good food for sure. Wow, The Valley needed one of these. A fast casual Korean joint serving up comforting rice bowls and excellent fried chicken wings. Service is friendly and accommodating, and the husband wife pair that runs the place are earnest and hard working. The ambiance is fine, what you could expect from a fast casual. The bowls were good. proper rice and appropriately seasoned protein choices. I've tried beef and spicy pork so far. I will say the spicy pork was a little light on the protein, but I'm sure mileage varies from bowl to bowl, as the beef was generous. The fried chicken is the star of the show. I've tried 4 of the 4 options now: plain, soy garlic, sweet/spicy, K-spicy. The winner is soy garlic, and it's not close. The best part about the wings is definitely the texture. Crisp, almost glass like shattering properties on the batter and skin, and solid flavorings. For some reason the soy garlic seemed to have a bigger crunch than any of the other options. Next time I may try their rice cake skewers and tornado potato. In any case, pay them a visit. It's worth it! read more

Decided to try this spot for dinner last night! I love Korean fried chicken so we knew this was a must try. Parking is super, super small but you can park on the streets as well (also very busy). We walked in and the door slammed behind us, I thought it was the strong winds lately but their door just doesn't have a stopper or something so it's really aggressive.. Super small restaurant, only a few tables but also really close to the next table so it's hard to really move around. I would recommend ordering online if anything because there isn't really a waiting area and you're right up against all the tables, very awkward. The lady who helped us order, maybe the owner, was very sweet. Their ordering system doesn't ask for a name or number so she kind of just looks at your direction and say "your order is ready". It was a little confusing because we sat behind another couple so when she said that our order was ready, the couple in front of us stood up but she kindly gestured that it was for us behind them lol. We ordered two orders of their soy garlic wings and their beef rice bowl. We took it home to enjoy and it was super delicious! Perfectly seasoned and love the crispy batter. It's not overly battered or thick either and the chicken is juicy. My only gripe is the pickled radish (the white square ones because they also offer the yellow ones which ended up being better than the white ones). If you've had bb.q before, you know how good and strong their pickled radish is. This place is WAAAAY too "pickled"? I'm not too sure what it is but they were extremely sour for my taste. It should be balanced and go well with the chicken but it just didn't. I ate one and couldn't even enjoy the rest. I ate the yellow ones which were just okay but I feel like Korean fried chicken goes so well and the radish is almost needed. Tucked away in a small, unassuming shopping center, Seoul Time completely exceeded my expectations. The area isn't the flashiest, so I wasn't sure what to expect- but wow, the food absolutely delivered. I ordered the large Kimchi Spam rice bowl, and it was generous in portion and flavor. The rice was fresh and steaming hot, and the kimchi was the real deal- bold, spicy, and unapologetically authentic (none of that bland, watered-down stuff). What really impressed me was the use of real, fresh chopped veggies in the bowl- something you rarely see at other Korean spots at this price point. We also shared the 6-piece soy garlic fried chicken wings. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly sauced- each wing was bigger than expected and fried to perfection. All of this, with a tip, came in under $30. Incredible. It's clear this is a family-run place, possibly newer, and the hospitality matched the food. The man at the counter was genuinely kind and welcoming, greeting us with the biggest smile and checking in throughout the meal. If I could give them an extra star, I would. Ok. Let me start off by saving I feel like it's more of a 3 stars. BC there's really only one star of the show here. So for that alone I'll bump it up. This is the 2nd time we've been here recently. The place is simple but clean. The owner (I believe) is friendly but limited English. The not so good is that they keep advertising corn and then both times says "we don"t have". The bowls were ok. The Tteokbokki was ok. The popcorn chicken had a very very nice seasoning , like cheesling maybe, but it's really small dark meat so a little tough. I wouldn't order again. Now, what's AMAZING is their soy garlic friend chicken. The sauce is so carmely (is that a word?) with a pull. And the chicken is cooked to perfection so very crispy and moist and juicy and tender inside. That chicken is the reason to stop. I wish they'd have cheese corn and Japchae on the menu. read more

It was awesome, but personally, I prefer a different flavor profile. My husband got the chicken kimchi rice bowl, which was fantastic! The kimchi had just the right amount of tanginess--not too overpowering. Like the beef bowl, it was mixed with peppers and onions and served with pickled yellow radish. I actually liked his dish more since I'm not a big fan of the coconut taste in the beef bowl. We also ordered the Korean fried chicken, and it was fire! At first, I was skeptical - Korean restaurants outside Koreatown often don't live up to the hype. But wow, was I wrong. This spot is seriously underrated. As a Korean-American, I was genuinely impressed by how well this place captures the feel of a Korean convenience store.
