Tried it based on the ratings. I've tried other Thai places and the food we had was not flavorful. The Pad See Ew, the Drunken Noodles, the Pad Thai - all of the dishes were lacking flavor. The only thing that did taste good was the Pineapple Curry Fried rice. Wouldn't go back. They had decent prices though. read more

Oh, yelp. Why have you rated this place so high? Do none of you understand what Thai food is supposed to taste like? The flavors are supposed to be strong and interesting, not bland and unpleasant, which unfortunately is what this place is. It's a shame, too, because the people who run it are so friendly! But the food really is subpar. This was my second and final time frying it, and the pad see ew chicken, garlic broccoli tofu and tom ka kai soup were all disappointing. I love that these two (I'll assume that they're married) are always working and they do the best that they can. I respect the hustle and will be a forever loyal customer to this business. I ordered on the dinner menu and it actually comes with a lot of food which I was totally surprised about. Siam Cuisine, is a Thai restaurant on Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills. When we walked in, the chairs were stacked on tables and there were signs that read, "To Go Only". So we ordered three items from their menu. One of the new items was the Fried Wontons with Cream Cheese. These triangular deep fried crisp pieces had a good amount of soft and delicious cream cheese that were perfectly prepared. It was an instant hit. A superb appetizer. The yellow curry had more potato than chicken. Finally, the Stir Fried Filet of Fish with Ginger. This was an attractive and colorful presentation (see my photo), with an abundance of celery, had flavor, but could have been better if it had a thicker sauce. The lady who took the to go order was very courteous, with a friendly and positive attitude. When we were rung up, I noticed that there was no ask or place for a tip. She just said it would take 15-20 minutes. I replied that we were going to sit in the car and be back. She asked where the car was and said she would bring the food to us. When she did and I offered her a cash tip, she refused to accept it, saying there was no need (did I hear this right?). I insisted and forced her to take it. Upon accepting the cash, she folded her hands and bowed down and thanked me in traditional Thai style. How lovely to deal with such nice people. I was taken aback and more than impressed. It's in a little plaza Plenty of parking However it is a busy plaza So I called & ordered shrimp pad Thai . The price seemed reasonable & should be done in 15 min . Perfect . I show up 10 min later & my food was already ready . Upon entering , the restaurant was empty ... but I think they had Jst opened . Very clean ... The staff came out , an elder man & woman , With big grins . Very happy , welcoming , sweet people . This spot is family owned, and run, and is a takeout only spot at this time. The owners are friendly, and quick. I walked in, reviewed the menu, ordered, and was out with my order in 10 minutes or less. I decided to grab a Thai tea, fried tofu with sweet & sour sauce with crushed peanuts, and Woon-Sen salad with glass noodles, chicken, shrimp, lettuce, mint, with spicy lime dressing. THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY!!!! Their Pad Thai is soo saucy and flavorful as well as their Pad See Ew. Both their chicken and beef are cooked beautifully and were very juicy. We've been coming here for years definitely a family favorite spot. The beef Pad Thai is very delicious and flavor and great portion for the price. Wonton soup is another favorite we love to pair with the pad Thai. The service is great and it's always amazing to support a local business! This was my first time ordering from here. I placed a big order for me and my kids. Unfortunately, none of our entrées were tasteful. The pad Thai I got had no flavor. My son's beef and broccoli also had no flavor. The beef was very pale. The barbecue chicken just tasted like a grill no flavor . The so-called shrimp fried rice mainly looked like white rice with no veggies and some overcooked shrimp laid on top. I tried calling to see if there was something they could do maybe possibly give us a different order but the man got on the phone and said that's too bad. My husband and I LOVE Siam Cuisine! The service is amazing and they are sooo kind every time we have been there to order out. I usually get the Pad See Ew and my Husband loves their fried rice and we always share egg rolls and the Panang Beef is always sooo good! The inside of the restaurant is always clean and very relaxing and we are excited to eat there one day, but usually we order to go because we both work so much and what's better than Thai Food and some Netflix? Lol Honestly though, this is my favorite Thai spot since moving to the Valley from SCV and having to find a new one and this one is it!
