Delicious Chinese Chicken Salad! A portion so huge that it can easily feed 2 adults. The friendly salad maker filled it up with 7 plus kinds of fresh veggie ingredients and hand tossed it with their delicious dressing. At the end, some ripe tangerines and wonton chips were added on top. Freshness and deliciousness in every bite. The chicken tasted very fresh and soft as well. Definitely a Top 3 Chinese Chicken Salad in LA! The spot itself has a modern feel to it with a good amount of tables for dining in. Will be back for more. Looks like it's just a tiny place but you step in and there are lovely, high ceilings!! Loved the food choices and the salad dressing was EXCELLENT! Quick service. After my failed attempt to visit Salad Farm three years ago, I finally made it in today for the first time, and it was definitely worth the wait. I love the concept of Salad Farm--they offer a variety of pre-designed salads and Paninis to choose from, or you can build your own. They have a list of popular options like steak and chicken, but I decided to create my own garden salad with all my favorite toppings. I was especially excited to see they had heart of palm, which is one of my go-to salad additions. It pairs perfectly with garbanzo beans, which I also added. The best part was that they tossed my salad for me, making it even more enjoyable. One thing to note: they don't have fountain drinks or a water station, but they do offer lemonade and canned sodas for purchase. It has been a long time since I have been able to enjoy a nice salad at SaladFarm because the one I used to go to in LA closed a good while ago. I just happened to have worked in the area today and on my way back, I was passing by and had to stop by for a bite. The first thing I noticed when entering was that it looked nice and it was clean. The service that Leo provided was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and attentive to what I wanted. It was service with a smile. You cannot ask for better! The salad was excellent! It brought back so many great memories from the times I used to eat at the LA location. I am glad to know that there are still some SaladFarm locations around. Update, yesterday I got my wife the same salad and once again they put cucumbers in it again! Cucumbers are not an ingredient in this salad? Now I'm into this place for 4 salads! 80 bucks! Wff? 7/9/25 Update: Went to location to speak to the manager and although I didn't get to speak to him I was helped by a very nice man. I told him what happened and he said that they put cucumbers in all their salads so he's heard this before. He very kindly made me a new salad exactly as I wanted at no charge. I am very grateful for the no charge salad but at this point I'm 80 bucks deep for only 2 edible salads so I think I'm done with the Salad Farm. If I could marry this place I would. Today was my first visit here after heading to another restaurant in the same plaza knowing I wanted something better. I ordered the veggie panini and my mind was BLOWN!!! It had nice thick slices of roasted eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini, tomato, avocado and Feta. They provided fresh pickled veggies on the side and they have the best ranch!! The establishment is huge and clean and you could tell the employees take their jobs seriously. That's rare these days. A friend and I were in the area and looking for something light to eat. After doing my research on Yelp I came across this place so we decided to try it out. My immediate impression of the place was that it looked clean and well kept which is a plus for me. The young lady behind the counter greeted as soon as we walked in. She was friendly and answered all of our questions regarding the menu. We finally decided on the Seared Tuna Salad and Cobb Salad. The servings are huge! We could have easily decided on one and shared and saved ourselves a few dollars - neither her or I were able to finish our salad and come on, $17+ for a salad is just outrageous! And to make matters worse, although I enjoyed my salad, my stomach immediately rejected it! Here's the deal, will I be back? I'm lamenting the loss of the Granada Hills Salata and hope this place will be a good substitute. The staff is great and the portions are huge. Mom and I shafted a build your own salad. It was a sad day for me when the Woodland Hills on Canoga closed. I had every salad on the menu and all were my favorites, but the California Salad with seasonal fruits was my consistent choice when summer fruits were in season. The house dressing on it is perfect. So I finally made the trip to the Northridge Salad Farm and it felt like an old good friend to see again! I didn't know which to order but as I was starving for chicken, the Chinese Chicken Salad was it. The California would have to wait! They have added items in the menu I have to try as well, like the paninis (I did get a ham and cheese panini), some new soup selections and more additions to the baked potatoes. The drive from Westlake Village isn't too bad, but it is long depending on local traffic up Desoto. Parking is better here than the Woodlsnd Hills location, but looks like it fills up quickly. I was coming for the first time looking for something fresh and healthy, I ordered a chicken panini, bland, dry and disappointing and a Cesar salad, delicious but the lettuce looked like today was the last day to eat it. The flavors were not giving. The food was premade and just warmed to eat. Two stars because the Cesar dressing was good. After a stop at Yogurtland next door, my friend and I decided to scope out Salad Farm and see what this place is all about. As you can see from my picture of the menu, there isn't just salads at this establishment. Salads, paninis, oven baked potatoes and 'tasty plates' (entrée of your choice, and two side items). I crave Seared Ahi Tuna Salads and I'm glad that I found an establishment where I can conveniently pick one up, without having to dine-in. During these COVID-19 times, Salad Farm has only take-out orders for now. Ample, clean and casual seating to dine-in -eventually. Veggies were crisp and fresh. Portion size of my Seared Ahi Tuna Salad is good for the price of $14.95 and everything is made fresh to order -certainly worth the wait. My tuna was a good color -visually appetizing, as I've ordered this salad at other establishments and had otherwise. My friend ordered the Sour Cream Oven Baked Potato for $5.95 -it was huge, basic and can't go wrong with ordering one from here -if you're craving it. Salad Farm loves Yelpers! As soon as I'm seeing the employees prepare my salad I'm starting to drool literally! The Chinese Chicken Salad was my to go to salad, but after trying for the first time by recommendation the Salmon Salad GOSHHH so mouthwatering! It turned out to be my favorite! One of the employees answered our questions without any hesitations and was extremely polite as she prepared our salads. The manager who I believe was Astrid (might butcher her name) she also helped prepare our salads. She was on point with everything as well. The environment was welcoming and warm. My salad was are quite exceptional. The cost of it was $15 rounded off but it was a huge salad and its seared tuna. So I believe it was a good price for what I received. Was extremely fulfilling. Came in on Tuesday at 7:10PM and it looked like the employees were getting ready to close the store. I noticed the sign that said closing is at 9PM so proceeded to order. Went to the sign where it said "Order Here" however it took the employee about a while to come over help me because she was busy doing whatever she was doing. I gave her my order and when asked if I wanted the dressing tossed in, I said yes. She finishes preparing the salad but I see the dressing in Togo containers so I told her that I wanted it mixed in.
