Me and my boyfriend wanted pozole so we came here since he has been here about a year ago. The price was $18 a little pricey but thought it must be worth it, and we asked for taquitos. When our order was ready we got the wrong order and got tacos instead of taquitos, my boyfriend let the lady know and she got mad and said " no you said tacos" I know for a fact we didn't say tacos. We didn't want to argue so we just took them. Then when we got our pozole mine barely had about two or three very small pieces of meat one piece was mainly fat. And it was basically all hominy. My boyfriend had about the same amount of meat, and there was a pig foot in it, I don't care that I had a pig foot but it's like they put it in there to make up for no meat being in there. My boyfriend complained and the lady rolled her eyes and the cook came out to try and explain how people like pig feet. I'm never coming here again. I will say the Fresca was good. That pozole was not worth $18. read more

Honestly, that feels pretty overpriced, especially since I've been to other spots where the food was just as good (if not better), the customer service was way friendlier, and the prices were lower. I was so hungry and had an emergency service call to attend to. As I was completing the job I noticed a Taco establishment across the street. I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did! I ordered the carnitas burrito. The tenderness of the meat was on point. The chili sauce they used was so delicious. It had a good flavor and wasn't to spicy. The beans were a pinto and not a refried...I prefer it that way! The first bite was so explosive with flavor. I will definitely be back to try the asada and chicken. I come here solely for the menudo and it never disappoints. The staff is always nice and super quick to get my order ready, this is easily one of the best places in the valley for menudo (by far my absolute favorite). Tacos!!!! Fresh and never stale tortillas. Green salsa is tasty. I haven't had an issue with any of the tacos or meat plates. Rice is yummy. You can call an order in ahead. Clean inside and has tables to eat there. Plus they are open til like 11pm most of the week. Stop in they really have awesome flavor and they aren't stingy on the meat portion; juicy so get napkins. So good I forget to take pictures. I gave 4 stars only because it's Cash or Zelle only, hard to find a menu unless you are there in person or a regular and there isn't a bathroom for customers. To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this establishment... boy was I wrong! The food here is good yall. Salsa - hot and spicy may bueno. Carnitas - Smokey, tasty, & of course oily... check, check, & check. Lengua - soft & tender just the way I like them so yes its good. Service - as good as any mom pop shop worth their salt - down to earth and efficient... very nice. This place is so good. The food tastes fresh and their hard tacos are amazing. I went back and ordered another order when I was already pretty much full. And their salsa bar with fresh peppers, carrots and beets is covered in a clean, chilled cooler (see picture). The entire restaurant is clean. The staff is nice. I think this place was just opened about a year ago. Decided to try it out. Had a Carne asada and a Al pastor burrito. To me, they were so so.. The burritos were rather small and not a lot of meat inside compared to the ones I had at other Taquerias. The cashier and the chef were friendly tho. Also, the saving grace is that their hot sauce was Really Hot. The setup is pretty simple: 1. You walk up to the counter and place your order 2. It's an open kitchen. You can see the chef making your food 3. To your left, there's a little station where you can grab additional condiments such as lemon slices, pickled jalapenos and sauces. They have 2 kinds of sauces: red and green. For those who can handle the heat, definitely go for the red sauce, and not the green one. But, you have been warned! So the verdict? Food 3/5.
