You eat this in a bowl with tortillas , almost Like a soup and it's just hearty, "spicy", deliciousness. The shrimp that we tried on the carne asada plate was plump, juicy, and well seasoned. I'm salivating just writing this review. The flavors are incredible, and every single dish I've tried here is packed with flavor. The complimentary bean dip served with the chips is pure magic. Pair it with their orange salsa at the salsa bar for an absolutely dynamite combo. Portions here are massive. I have never finished a plate in one sitting, so you're guaranteed to leave with a to-go box for later. My absolute go-to orders are the Guadalajara Fajitas or the California Burrito (loaded with chicken, steak, and shrimp). Pro-tip: the California Burrito isn't on the official menu anymore, but they'll still make it if you ask! The only real drawbacks are price, parking, and wait times. Prices have definitely gone up over the years, making it more of an occasional treat than a frequent visit. Waits range anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour and a half depending on when you go. The parking lot is tiny-especially since they expanded with outdoor patio seating-so I usually just park near the school a bit past the restaurant and walk over. (Honestly, the walk back helps after eating this much food!) Despite the wait and higher prices, the service is fast, friendly, and the food quality is untouchable. I'II never stop coming here!

Also ordered a combo of Chile Colorado with rice and beans. The beef was tender, tasty rice, but the beans tasted like from a can (not homemade), and 4 corn tortillas. 2 large drinks (size of cup were the almost the size of napkin holder - A+). Overall, it was ok.
