Not too long ago, the air conditioner was out in the building, and the team did everything possible to make the restaurant as comfortable as possible, by bringing down the shades and turning on all the ceiling fans. It came to my attention that management has not yet fixed the AC that keeps the area cool for the employees and the cooks who are working hard over hot grills. I want to make it very clear that this team is worth taking care of because they do a phenomenal job of taking care of every person that walks in the door by giving them great customer service and delicious food. Please take care of the team so they can continue taking care of your customers.

A decent portion of steak with terribly cooked vegetables again with no seasoning. They're better off putting beans on the plate not a bunch of nasty vegetables. Their Salsa bar was half empty missing containers and very odd flavors to their salsa again no seasoning. The roasted tomato or chili salsa was extremely odd flavor. Did not taste like tomatoes or normal natural flavors. No citrus and no seasoning just spice spice spice. I love the vibe in the atmosphere in this place. It's very fast very clean and very exciting but I don't know. The food is somehow. Too much hype for nothing. Once again this is Los Angeles. We are full of Latinos that have family tradition flavors and I can guarantee all of you with this has no tradition for their flavors. I will mention that their tortillas, but I'm watching one of the employees removed quickly off the griddle are creatively, prepared and beautifully flavored. The ingredients here are the least of quality FYI Great job "Poquito menos" on really representing the culture

It was okay; it felt like it was only half frozen as the ice wasn't blended that well. For my main, I got the famous Anejo carne asada and shrimp plate for $40. Yes it was pricy, but the portion size was also huge! I was starving and somehow managed to finish the plate, but it'd be a great dish to share for two people with small appetites. I really enjoyed it as well. I asked for the steak to be cooked rare, and they didn't overcook it. Each bite was super tender and flavorful and paired well with the rice. Everyone else also enjoyed their dish. One friend got the wet chicken burrito for $15 and it was massive! Another got the veggie fajitas with steak added and really enjoyed her dish as well. Solid food all around. I would love to come back on a weekday and try their happy hour! Sipping on $5 margaritas and $6 sangrias sounds like my idea of a great time!

Our chilaquiles were a whole other story and flavor profile. The carne asada that came with it was life changing. Whatever seasoning they used on tha carne asada is perfect. My wife was deeply impressed. The sauce, the chips, the eggs, beans and rice were all very very good as well. All complimented each other very well. Best mexican food in any town. If you want food that tastes like mom's cooking, this is the place. My husband used to live closer when we were dating and we were sad they weren't closer to where we live now. It is worth the drive and we never feel displeased.
