A little expensive but I understand Peruvian food is.. I ask them if they can make a lomo saltado burrito they agree but they charged me $20. That's the price of a lomo saltado plate, when I was about to eat the burrito it was just a tortilla wrap in the lomo saltado, no rice no beans nothing. The food tastes good but never order a burrito lomo saltado.

Bistec, Lomo Saltado, and shrimp Chaufa! What a lunch with the fam!

They have a hidden Peruvian menu that is only advertised inside the restaurant. It is top notch if you are craving Peruvian with the Lomo Salgado, Bistec a Lo Pobre, Chaufa, and many more I have yet to try. This is a must try place to go to but don't expect it to be cheap with their Peruvian cuisine. It is made to order and takes time but it is definitely worth it if you are not cheap but patient enough to wait for deliciousness. I am going to try their Jalea today but will also indulge on the others that are too delicious to not order. Another day, I will try their carne asada steak, steak burrito, carne asada tacos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and the other go to Mexican dishes that look delicious too if I have the will to not keep ordering their Peruvian dishes. No cap, this place is a hit!

This is a great place for some good Mexican food. It's a small family owned business. The husband and wife are super nice and friendly. I ordered the Cali Burrito with asada and it didn't disappoint. Just look at how massive the burrito is on the plate. I placed the fork next to it for size comparison. I'll have to come back and try some of their other menu items. Please stop by this place and show them some love. They're on the corner of Balboa and Victory. Across from Birmingham High School.

One of the best damn burritos I ever had and that's saying something because my mom could cook

Solid place. Ordered the 2 taco combo and tried the asada and the al pastor. Really bomb. I devoured it. I regret not getting 3 tacos. Thanks to the friendly staff running the place and for the sticker!

I stopped here because it was on my way to my destination. I was surprised the food was expensive For this price, I can eat at a restaurant. Then the burrito had more rice than protein. No thanks!

From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. Whether you're a wet burrito lover or trying one for the first time, this spot will raise your standards. Las Fuentes isn't just good--it's the kind of place you start craving the second you leave. The inside has a great Spanish decor.

The service and vibe were also amazing. I was so disappointed in the food and service! I ordered a tostada (besides my better judgement of ordering what I typically do, which is a gringo style wet burrito). I specifically asked the cashier if it came in the fried shell bowl. She said yes and that I can choose between flour or corn. I asked if the size or look were different, and she said no, so I ordered corn. It came out as a plate of just unseasoned mess. The carnitas were extremely dry and had no flavor, despite drowning it in whatever sauces were available. My husband's plate is what he normally gets too, carne asada plate. Dry and no flavor. A nearby table received their order and they also ordered a tostada that came with the shell. I asked the waitress (who was the same lady to took our order) what they ordered and she said tostada. When I told them mine came out the way it did, she said that was my fault for ordering corn. I felt that it was misleading despite me asking questions. She said she will bring out a flour tostada. I was fine up until this point because it was a simple mistake on both our ends. However, another waitress who brought out the flour tostada started speaking to me in Spanish, then repeated in English "this is flour, this is corn (while pointing at my plate)" in the most condescending manner. I will never go back here and I understand why the ratings have gone down significantly. They opened another location in Chatsworth, with worse ratings and I can confidently say I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone!

The food is still delicious (I love their beans and bean dip, and my bf really likes their rice). Just not in love with these prices. To get the most value, if you order one of the burritos, you can easily split it into two meals because they're pretty big. Got the chicken fajita burrito and had half for lunch yesterday and today. Well, I'm a cocktail connoisseur (read: drunk) who makes a point of hitting as many of the top 50 in the country and the world as I possible can. There have been some standouts (T+E, Sip, and Double Chicken for example), some head scratchers (superbueno), but very little as mystifying as how this place got on the top 50. And I even know some of the bartenders, so it's really gotta suck for me to slag off on it. So . . . what's so bad? Christ. Inattentive hostesses who get REALLY rude when you try to go to the bag after they ignore you. "You can't just sit at the bar! We're an establishment!" "Hunny, I've wandered into tayer, EMP, NoMad, and a whole holy host of bars better than this without a res or even a nod from a hostess and the only thing that's been said was 'welcome! (Alright, EMP smiled and nodded as I pointed to the bar because they have manners, but they know me) Then they jerked me around with seating, and food, and drinks. It was pretty much impossible to actually get anything. I've never had to work so hard to give a "top 50" bar my money. Eventually, I was seated at the bar (after a few seat reassignments), and the bartender was about as hospitable and helpful as the aforementioned hostesses... and when my drink finally showed up it was boring. When I come here, I usually order the cheese enchiladas. They're the best I've ever had. Perfect flavor, cheesiness, and consistency (thickness/density). This time around, I decided to try out something different, the Carne Asada plate. It was fantastic. Usually, restaurants use cheaper cuts of meat like skirt or flank steak for their carne asada. Maybe I'm losing my mind, but the carne asada I had looked and tasted a lot like ribeye steak, which happens to be my favorite cut of beef. For my drink, I had the horchata like I normally do. The horchata here is something special. It's thicker and creamier than your average horchata and packs a cinnamon punch. The only knock on this place is the parking situation. There's limited parking relative to the size of the establishment. You may have to find street parking around the park nearby. But don't let something like that discourage you from checking this place out. This place is worth it. I drive up to the Valley from the South Bay just to visit this restaurant.
