The cashier left the register to bring food out and bus tables, it took over an hour for us to get our food so we missed part of the concert. When someone finally paid attention to us - they asked if we wanted to come back after the concert!? The place was disorganized, not the cleanest and the staff were rude and unprofessional. Waited over 45 for chicken tenders. It wasn't until 11:07... 7 minutes after closing we got a text our order "arrived at the kitchen to be made." Which was 46 minutes after we ordered. It was not that busy. Further, we ordered pizza which they did not have and did not post a sign but allowed people to order on the kiosk anyways. It was so hectic inside, despite it not being busy. You can see the cooks, who were extremely slow in everything they did and had zero urgency. You had to then go stand in a line at the only cash register to get your refund for the pizza they didn't have. The assistant manager was extremely rude and again, very slow at everything she did. Last night after a concert at the Nugget Casino, I found a hidden treasure. I was recommended by a customer sitting in the restaurant to try the Pad Thai Bowl. The kitchen is open so you can watch how your food is prepared. I did order the Pad Thai and it was Fab!!!! Served with a wonderful presentation of chicken, noodles, sprouts, onions and spice. You can also have shrimp as well. A very healthy portion in one bowl. I took home my leftovers... Room Chef Trevor Gerber should be awarded for this Pad Thai bowl. I will positively bring my family back for this dish. Had very friendly service at the register! I had the drunken noodles and katsu. Katsu seemed burnt, still decent. Fries were in large portion size so yay. Terrible. I cannot begin to describe the disaster that was the island grill this weekend. There was a conference at the Nugget, so there was a huge crowd throughout the hotel. Two hours and finally I go up (with a group of others to complain, she turns to the fridge and grabs a salad out the fridge and hands it to me!!!! That's all that was required and it took two hours and being me raising a complaint to finally get a salad straight from the fridge.
