First time coming here and had a delightful experience! The food was delicious and I enjoyed trying some new things. Service was decent and speedy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed the inside of the place. Dim lighting but adds a nice feel to the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went last week and we were very please with our server, Jorge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't that much people inside so one of the host let us choose where we wanna seat (which is unusual)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At 1st we ordered the beef bulgogi but seems too much for 2 person, so we asked him to just bring half/portion of each meat since we would like to try most of it. He did well explaining and describing whats the difference of the meat selections. He gave us options of which to get as a sides. He checked on us from time to time but we don't feel rush. All I can say is, Jorge i think is a great person as he knew what's on the menu, he can describe it. We had margaritas which we liked, we left the restaurant happy, contented, and full. We did not take much pictures of food but all was worth it

I read other comments about the service, and honestly, I had a great service experience. Doris was incredibly helpful and provided our table lots of attention. The servers are busy of course, so they are pulled in many directions, but Doris was consistent with filling up our sauces and restocking meat. I think I'd rate 4 stars, but she elevated it to 5. Overall, the meat quality was good for AYCE. I'm honestly not the biggest meat person, so I cannot comment on specifics. I know that the Hawaiian bulgogi was delicious! The sauces and veggies that came with the meal were also a nice complement to the meat. Our favorites were the japchae and the spicy rice cakes. As most AYCE places, it definitely felt more expensive than I'd prefer (based on the amount I'd eat, but that's the business model I suppose). Come hungry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had K-pop music videos playing on projectors and the ambiance was a bit more casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I loved my experience here! Started off with a delicious yogurt soju drink and moved on to the entrees. The server was very courteous and pleasant chatting with. I really enjoyed the taste of all the meat and the plethora of dips and sauces enhanced the tastiness of the meat and vegetables further. I walked out feeling full of delight for about $40 which is incredible given quality of the buffet style meal and alcoholic beverage. I highly recommend this place!

Iron Age was the perfect first KBBQ experience. After walking in, we were sat immediately and looked after quickly by a server. Our server guided us through the menu and we had our first meats very fast. We had the spicy chicken, beef bulgogi, seasoned steak, pork belly, and Hawaiian bulgogi. The bulgogi and spicy chicken were our favorite! So juicy and flavorful. We also enjoyed the green grape soju which worked perfectly with our meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes were great inside with a massive music video projector and good music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We would definitely go back!

    Undercooked chicken

I've always loved Iron Age and have been here many times. Today my first waitress was wonderfully, but somehow a manager decided to assist my table; he was unfriendly and served me undercooked chicken. I felt uncomfortable in all interactions with the manager. I won't return and pray I don't get sick.

Daniel was our server Very attentive and definitely made sure we always had a meat cooking. He even helped a little with the grilling and cutting the meat up for us before leaving the table. He brought us a side of Japchae without asking, thinking it may be something we would like due to the popularity. He did forget about my drink once, but no big deal. The meats: -Spicy Pork Bulgogi 9/10 Just losing a point because it wasn't actually spicy. After eating half of it, the spice did build on your tongue, but it wasn't much at all. If you don't like spicy foods like me, it's still something you can eat. The cut, tenderness and flavor of the meat itself was really good though. Probably my second or third favorite meat here. -Seasoned Steak 8/10 I wasn't a huge fan of this, mainly because of the cut of steak (Top Blade Steak). It was a little tough for me to chew still. I'm not sure if it's because of the length of time it was cooked or not, but just wasn't a huge fan. It did have good flavor to it though -Beef Bulgogi 10/10 Kim. 8/10 Kyle. Kyle wasn't a huge fan because he doesn't like sweetness to his foods, but he still liked it. However, this is my favorite meat and the house marinade is my absolute favorite. I wish they would bottle it up and sell it! -Beef Brisket 7/10 I think it being shaved is a nice change to how brisket is normally served. The fat was just difficult for me to chew, but the meat itself was good. I do wish it was seasoned a little, but it comes out frozen so might be a little difficult to do that. This is a great meat to dip in both the sesame oil or the sweet oil Sweet oil - my favorite! Yum yum sauce - my second favorite Sesame oil with salt & pepper - third favorite Chili sauce - spicy! Least favorite

We had a group of 10. Eight is probably the ideal number, it was a little tight. The food was all great and we ate at least 1 of each meat option. Our server was exceptionally quick and polite. Very nice ambience. I would definitely come back. I have this one 5 stars.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Always seen this restaurant but never tried it out because it wasn't AYCE. Upon arrival, we waited a good while before being seated. The entrance doormat was upside down against the window wall. We stood standing near the door as well. Definitely not ideal, but you make do when you want to eat. SERVICE: The staff was young but good at what they did and bath attentive. FOOD: The meat choices were pork belly and brisket. They were more premium cuts than other restaurants. Loved the salad and the eggs. CLEANLINESS: I didn't go to the bathroom, but my sister did. She said it was disgusting or smelled really bad.

Would you want to eat the chicken that was thrown on top of some raw meat

The food was good, but the service was not. I know it was a holiday weekend, but in the moment that we sat down, the waitress seemed to be in a hurry. Restaurant wasn't busy after everything that we ordered she kept asking. Is that it you guys tonight? When you finally said the last thing that we ordered was chicken I took the grill off and put the chicken on top of some Ramen she had cut. It was just nerve you weren't even there an hour. I don't feel like the the automatic tip was well deserved for 4 people. I felt like that was so rude they could have put it on our plates

The japchae was amazing the kids really enjoyed it!

Ask the Community - Iron Age

Is there a lunch special at the Annandale Location?

    Yes, $18 per person 11am-2pm

Looks like they are more expensive here than the 2 other locations?

They follow the Baltimore menu. They have lunch and dinner vs menu A and B. So their dinner menu has shrimp and steak on it already-that's why the price is higher :)

Does this location give out ice cream, I know the one in Rockville and Elliott city doesn't?

No. This location does not give out complimentary ice cream or coffee. This location charges $2 for ice cream.

Is this new location serve Garlic pork belly ? also offer options A $25, B $20?

Only offers 1 all you can eat option for $25 at this time. They do not serve garlic pork belly, but do serve garlic pork steak (different cut of pork).
