What a horrible company. My old location was closing. They notified me about 10 days ago and I've been trying ever since to to get iPostal1 to get me switched to a new one before the old one closed. Today is the last day. In a few hours I won't have a working mailbox anymore. I've emailed with them 5 or 6 times in the course of these 10 days and with every email -- always from a different person -- they promise to get it done. It hasn't happened. They write like robots and maybe that's who I've been talking to all along. Their email sign off slogan "We Strive to Deliver Excellence" is unintentionally hilarious. Maybe they really are striving and are just that incompetent but someone needs to tell them striving isn't enough. Getting it done is what counts. I'm abandoning 9 months on a one year prepaid membership, a $20 PayPal balance and a scan and shred package. Maybe they'll refund some of it, but I'm betting not. I have been completely unable to access my business mail and have effectively given up any hope of ever receiving it. I made two separate trips to the location at 14 E Washington St, 5th Floor, Orlando, FL. The first trip was on a weekend, their own app allowed me to schedule a pickup, but the location was unstaffed and inaccessible. No warning. No notice. I paid for parking and wasted my time. The second visit on June 18th, same result. Mail box empty. No explanation. Since then I have submitted two help tickets through their website, called every number I have and left multiple voicemails, texted every number available including the one posted on the glass door at the location, and sent photographic evidence of the empty pickup box. I have received zero response across every channel. I have filed formal complaints with the Florida Office of the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I am also canceling my service. Despite being a long‑term customer for over two years, they returned my business mail after I was only one day late on a payment, labeling my account as "expired." Most times I go to collect my mail, even though I am required to schedule an appointment to do so, I have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for someone to help me. So I don't go that often, and can start to incur additional charges for mail held too long. One good feature is the ability to have them trash junk mail by selecting it online and asking them to toss. The UPS recertification, although able to be done remotely, is tedious and you need to supply ID and address verification. Which is annoying but probably can't be helped, but I send it in and then they tell me the ID is expired, which it isn't. And they charge me $12.50 for that. read more

Last winter, in October when I went in I picked up a few small packages as noted in my app and account. Also I was handed about eight other envelopes and three packages. One of the packages was sent to me in May 2005. It was not logged in to my account but by the date on the outside, had arrived in NM at the office in June. The stack of envelopes had notices from my health care that needed immediate response. In the months that it lay at the mail box facility, I lost my health care. Same for the auto insurance. And now, once again, when I go in because I know a packet from Amazon was there, nothing showed on my app or account. I was given 9 envelopes. Some dated back to Dec 5th. Again, nothing showed up. It was only because i dropped by for one packet that the man even looked and found this huge stack. I can not risk using your company anymore unless you do something. If you want to waste your money and nerves for nothing, go ahead and use this "wonderful" service. To complete the notary address verification with iPostal, you'll go through a painfully long process of submitting documents in the exact "correct" format. After several days of uploads and rejections, once your documents are finally approved, you will get the chance to connect with a notary. After this nightmare, when you finally speak to the notary, answer all the questions, and provide all requested information, you see a green message confirming that everything is approved. The notary tells you that everything is good and you will receive your documents by email. They also charge you -- in my case, $40 -- for this service. Then, for about two weeks, you will keep asking for your documents because they never arrive by email and their system doesn't allow you to download them. Instead of simply emailing you the documents, they will keep sending you back to look for the notary in their system. Of course, the notary will tell you, "Sorry, you went through iPostal -- please contact them directly." For two weeks, they will keep redirecting you, and once you finally demand a refund for the time and stress you endured, they will simply cancel your account. Then they will reply, "Sorry, we canceled your account since you requested your money back," and you still won't get your money returned. iPostal1 does not work as advertised. I use them at Staples, 3058 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY and they do NOT scan/post all my mail & packages to my account. When occasionally they do scan the envelope, they post an upside down image to my iPostal1 account. Even after I call them to find out what I have received and ask them to scan/post it to my iPostal1 account they don't do it. I had items in my folder that were two weeks old to several months old that were NOT scanned/posted to my account. I opened a complaint with iPostal, ticket 2359628, "we will get back to you in 1-2 days" - nope! read more

I signed up for this service because I live in Mexico City but usually like to keep a US address for ordering things and forwarding them to myself and also for putting as a return address on things. First they charged me a $20 fee onto of the monthly mail box charge. This was without my consent and they told me this was to keep in my account in case I need to scan mail. Which would be fine, but then they also charged me when I scanned anything. I tried to test the mailbox by getting a leather bag delivered to my mailbox. After a month, I looked up where my package was and the vendor had it as being delivered to my mailbox address. I was never notified. When I went to my account to log-into my mailbox it was not there. I tried emailing and calling the contact numbers on the website and after two days I finally got ahold of someone. She told me the package was sitting in the mail center but had not been logged in by iPostal1 because it was delivered on a Saturday and iPostal1 doesn't work on Saturdays. The package was then finally logged into the system. I requested online that the package be forwarded to my address in Mexico City. About 2 weeks later, I asked the mailbox service where my package was as they never sent me any sort of transit information or tracking number. They replied with a tracking number and said it was in transit. Then I waited another two weeks and I went online to my iPostal account to see where it could be and it had been returned because of lack of customs forms. They never notified me it had been returned. I reached out to the company asked why they didn't tell me the package had been returned and why they didn't fill out the customs forms. Their response was, "Hello, no we don't fill out no forms, whatever is sent to us to send the package is what is printed out. " So, they charged me over $100 to forward the Package to Mexico knowing that they do not fill out customs forms so it would be returned anyways. (Whenever you send something to another country you need to fill out customs forms, if I had known they don't do that I would never have even gotten this service.) Then when I went onto my account today to see if I could possibly forward the package to my friend's address in the United States, the option was not available. Because the package had been there for 30 days they discarded it. This has been the worst service I've ever used in my life. I've had to track down a missing package, which they charged me to forward even though they knew it couldn't be forwarded and then they threw it away. This month alone I paid this company $146.75 ($104.51 to have the package mailed to me in Mexico City, $9.99 membership fee, $2.25 fee to scan a letter, $10 fee to shred a letter, $20 to keep in my account for no reason.) The bag I ordered that they discarded was $77. This company has only caused me headaches and not helped in any way. I will be cancelling my membership and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

It's just a realized that every time a piece of mail comes in, and you view it/scan, it's a fee. It's also an addiction fee when you pick it up. I have rental a virtual address from I-postal for a year. I needed my mail delivered to me which is an option I-postal offer. The company hired UBER . Someone picked up the mail amd never delivered it. The company reached out to UBER and no response. This is US Mail this company entrusted to a 3rd party and no-one can provide the simple answer of where my mail went. Do not ask this business to deliver mail if you want to actually have it delivered. read more

This is by far the worst service I have ever used to receive my mail. I put up another detailed review on Trust Pilot but I will say this, I am beyond frustrated! How can you charge monthly for a service and then deliver horrible service. I had many problems from the beginning and was only keeping the service out of need due to my circumstances. Now, I do not care! I have sent them detailed emails requesting that certain mail not go into my box from some companies that are bombarding my box each month. They put the mail in the box anyway. I asked for junk mail not to be put in the box and it goes in. I asked for a package to be returned on many occasions and it wasn't, even after I sent a detailed email. I tried to have my mail forwarded so I would not have to travel there to pick it up and the service was not available and it was a problem on Ipostal's side. The worker at Staples, Dave, who always took care of everything, told me he reached out to them to try to get the service working. He had not gotten a reply and told me he would call when it was worked out. He never called and now he is no longer employed there. We had several conversations and he was just as frustrated working for them as I am as a paying customer. The service is lousy and you can never get in touch with anyone at IPostal! I sent an email on 10/27 at 11:41am about the issues I am writing about and to date, not one response except an auto reply. I just sent an email for them to close the box after this month (I'm paid up to the 22nd of the month). These people have the audacity to take payments early, like they did this month and on time every month as if their service is good! I will never give them my business again!!!!! I just signed up with iPostal1 a month ago. It did take me a while to get the notary put through. I found that UPS is able to do a notary for just $15, and they are usually on site, so I went that route. I haven't received any physical mail yet, but the wheels are rolling and I don't really need to receive mail, so I don't care about that. I was delighted to find out that I was able to generate mail and send it automatically. But that's the main source of my low rating. In order to do that, you must use Microsoft Edge. (Really? Who does that in this day and age? It's strange to me that I can't use Chrome.) But that was my first warning sign that this system appears to be in its infancy stage. So I uploaded images for my first postcard and sent it to my own home as a test run. Delivery was about 2 weeks. The images looked like garbage. But, OK, it's a learning process and was largely my own fault. I think the file that I uploaded was too small. Uploading images is a major problem for me. To upload an image to the front (the side with the address, you have a choice of 17 file types. Ok. One of them is .svg. My utility is Inkscape, so that's perfect. To upload an image to the back, however, you only have 8 file types. I have to go from the native .svg to .wmf, then use IRFan to go from .wmf to .jpg. This may introduce a major source of image degradation. Another problem with the postcard creation system is that there is no 'save' button, or facility to house saved projects or postcards. On the front, if you create or upload an image, click the button because you want to try just entering in a text message, then decide to go back to entering an image, sorry, that image is irretrievable. Their little image editor for the back of the card also allows you to upload. There is no exiting that and then going back to update it. You'd better do it all at once, front and back, or be prepared to do the entire project again. read more

Our nonprofit paid for an annual fee but could not get the Form 1583 approved (regardless of multiple attempts), and the "live chat" never happened, just said they were experiencing high volume of live chat requests. But customer service contact via phone puts you on long wait times, and when 15 mins pass, someone comes on the line to say hello and then mysteriously you are disconnected. The reviews on here are no lie, this company is awful. I unfortunatley read the trustpilot BS reviews and didn't see the yelp reviews before i signed up with this awful business. They charge you for everything even when they are not supposed to, its absolutely nuts. The customer service when you call is like they pay the employees extra to be nasty and the emails are never responded to. If you have a large package delivered to your mailbox they charge 10 dollars a day with a 5 day minimum, so even if you pick the package up the same day it arrives its 50 dollars. I argued for hours about this on the phone and they were unbending. When you call in expect to wait at least 30 minutes, its like they have a timer set before they answer the phone. This is probably my third review for ipostal in less than a year. I am paying for this service and very unhappy with them. It is bad enough when you get your mail delivered free to your house from the postal service and have all sorts of issues, but when you pay them to handle your mail and keep having issues, it is far worse. I have to wait a little longer before I cancel because of my living situation but believe me, once I get situated, I will be canceling this service and NEVER use them again. I had issues months ago with not receiving notifications when my mail arrived. I am not in the area so I travel to pick up mail when there is enough in the box. I gave up trying to reach anyone on the phone because they NEVER answer. You just keep holding and holding until you finally hang up. Then I have to submit an email and you get a response saying a ticket has been started and then you do not hear from anyone until several days later about your issue. They even ask you if it has been solved? How? No one has responded to deal with it. A few weeks ago I picked up mail and Dave (a wonderful staples worker who is always courteous and professional) checked out my mail. I always get a notification that my mail has been picked up and this time I didn't. I went back to Dave and he looked into it. He said that ipostal had just made some changes. After he went into the computer and did a few things the notice came through. Now, I have not had a notification since then that I had mail and I am way too busy and dealing with way too much to be checking daily to see if I have mail, WHEN I PAY IPOSTAL TO NOTIFY ME THAT I HAVE MAIL FOR $14.99 A MONTH. Dave checked in a package on the 28th and I got that notification. When I went in to my account I have 7 other pieces of mail dating back to the 14th of August and I never received one notification. The problem is that the longer the mail sits there the less time I have to pick it up. If it goes beyond the time then they charge me an extra month for storage even if it is just one piece of mail! The funny thing is that they take $14.99 out of my account every single month like clockwork without a problem, yet, they do not deliver on the service they are supposed to provide that I pay for ($180 a year) which they will not be getting! Now, I called Dave back and I had already put in a ticket about the situation and got their reply. Then he gave me a different email and I sent the email and got the same reply. Here is your ticket number so it will take several days for me to be contacted. Meanwhile, I have a box full of mail and I just got a few packages. The people I ordered from notified me they were delievered but it will take ipostal days before they notify me with their process but the whole problem is that I AM NOT BEING NOTIFIED BY IPOSTAL AT ALL!!! Why in the world would I want to keep paying for service like this. They are unreliable just as the post office was when I had to keep putting in complaints at my residence. I am going to search really hard this week and see what else I can come up with to cancel this bad service. The problem is that I tied my business address to this box (which is why I upgraded $5 month). I do not and will not recommend this service to anyone EVER!!!! Trying to contact anyone is worse than the DMV and the last time I put in a negative review I got a call from a supervisor who remedied the issue in a satisfactory way. This company gave me a very unpleasant purchasing experience. Once you purchase it, the service is so poor that I couldn't terminate the service for nearly a year and a half! I'm very busy at work, and I write emails to them and they never process them! In the end, I had to cancel the company bank account to avoid being deducted money. Their website has a service that allows you to delete your account, but if you follow the instructions step by step, they will eventually ask you to clear the mail. When you clear the mail, they will automatically deduct additional money from you, but in the end, no matter what, your Letters cannot be cleared! It's a really troublesome and troublesome company! What a waste of time and energy communicating with them! Finally, I had to contact the bank's customer service, which took a lot of time to deal with. I got my Form 1583 notarized, just like it says is an option on their website. However, when I tried to upload, there wasn't a place to do it. I reached out to customer support and they told me that as of October, they now require the form to be notarized through THEIR online service only which doesn't match the information in their terms of service (which hasn't been updated). It also didn't state that in their email to me regarding Form 1583. I already paid $10 to get the form notarized and they should let me upload it or bring it to their location. Instead, the customer service rep was aloof and didn't even try to work with me. I mentioned I would like to cancel and she just said "ok, I can do that" without even trying to work with me. I paid for the mail service, completed the required forms and provided the required documents and the support is incompetent and did not authorize my account to receive mail. I tried multiple times contacting them and providing them the documents they requested 3 times and they still refused to turn on the mail service. Then when I finally had enough I told them to cancel my account and refund my money. They said it was past the 30 days and they do not offer refunds. I mistakenly paid for a year up front and they are refusing to refund it even though they did not process one piece of mail for me. read more
