I got some cookies delivered. Me and my partner were unsure about two out of the six we got. We ordered 2 Wildberry Ube, 2 Cherry Limeaid, and 2 Coffee 'n' Cream cookies. The Coffee 'n' Cream cookies seemed like just regular chocolate chunk cookies. So, I called to ask if there may have been a mix up. The store associate was SO KIND AND HELPFUL. She explained the differences between the Coffee 'n' Cream, Chocolate Chunk, and Cookies 'n' Cream. She asked if we tried the cookies. I said yes and they just taste like regular chocolate chunk. She explained she packed it herself and she's sure she packed the right ones. But then she SENT US a box of 2 Coffee 'n' Cream, a Chocolate Chunk, and a Cookies 'n' Cream just so we can see the differences and to make sure we got the right ones!! I didn't have to go pick them up, she sent them out for delivery!!! She even bagged and labeled the cookies, so we'd know which one is which. Best customer service ever. Me and my partner tried them and came to the conclusion that we got the right ones the first time. It's just that the Oreo pieces are small and there isn't much coffee flavor. But wow, AMAZING customer service. Will forever go to this cookie place.
Ima just say it - INSOMNIA COOKIES HAS THE BEST COOKIES. And straight up, no one (other than Mrs Fields) can touch them. Once you've been, then you already know. 5 stars, and 5 stars again.
We went to Insomnia Cookies on a Saturday night (really Sunday cause it was 1:15am). The energy of the staff was hyper which was great. I got a Double Chocolate Chunk and White Chocolate Macadamia ice cream sandwich with Cookie D'ough ice cream. It was the perfect treat -- not tooooo sweet. The ambiance was as chill considering we went before most of the bars and lounges closed. I would definitely go again!
Second time trying insomnia and I've heard so much about these but they continue to be so ordinary to me. This time the cookie was warm and had a little gooey chocolate chips inside. They taste stale and they are so thin. $2.63 for an ordinary cookie you could get at target.
We all know insomnia has great cookies, but the brownie was really good too. It was warm, had a gooey center and crispy edges. I don't know about anyone else, but that was the perfect combination for me. My brownie was topped with their Caramellionaire ice cream. It was sweet and had mini chunks of caramel. There was a steady flow of customers and the cashiers were efficient with taking orders and getting them out quickly.
Insomnia cookies is perfect for those late night sweet cravings. The cookies are always warm and fresh. As you walk into the store you are overwhelmed with the smell of freshly baked cookies. Each cookies is about $3 each. They come in a cute box. My favorites are the m&m, sugar and snickerdoodle.
If you are going to choose delivery and aren't willing to wait don't bother. They are located in a very busy area in Baltimore city. If you live on the outskirts, just wait the cookies will come warm because they keep it in a warmer in the store. The cookies in the brownies are great. I've tried all the deluxe cookies overtime. I have tried only a few classic cookies. Beware they do have a lot of sugar LOL.
Leaving cross street market I walked pass this place, and the smell of the warm baked cookies literally redirected your focus into going in the store. Per Diamond, he says if you buy 1 cookie, you can get a free cookie with a customer review. Well that was right up my alley, so I opted for a chocolate chip, and my free cookie was peanut butter. The cookies were nice and fresh, warm, gooey goodness in every bite. They didn't disappoint.
Since my initial purchase. Im often reminded of how good insomnia cookies are. Here we go again... My teenage daughter. "Ma"can you please drive back to insomnia cookies.... my pleasure ;) The cookies were served warm and fresh to order. Customer service was great. This Definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Several options I would like to try on my next visit.

The customer had been getting cookies from them, paying on her card, then later having the card declined after a few days; therefore, the restaurant hadn't been paid for their cookies. The lady came back to pay bc she felt horrible that it had been happening, and the owner was so pleasant. He thanked her for her honesty and told her it was on the house. I think that was such a beautiful, humane exchange! I got to speak with the owner about this being my first experience. He was a younger, African American man. He said he had recently acquired the location and that he was proud of his accomplishment. I think that's pretty epic. The cookie (macadamia nut) and ice cream (caramelionaire) were both DELICIOUS! And...this place stays open pretty late for that late night sweet tooth. I would totally come back and recommend you do, too! #blackowned

First time going to Insomnia Cookies. I've heard so many good things. While we were inside when another customer told us how delicious these cookies are and that they always stop by for them. This shop is located along Charles St. next to the Cross Street Market. The store smelled so cozy, welcoming and comforting! Such a delicious scent of fresh baked cookies. The inside of the store was very clean and inviting. There's counter space with chairs to sit on. You can enjoy your cookie inside in the warmth instead of outside in the cold. They have milk and other beverages on the menu to go with the cookies (: The worker here, Keisha explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. We got 100% excellent customer service! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. I loved that! We were able to customize our order. Insomnia Cookies has such a huge variety of flavors, it was sooo hard to choose! I couldn't wait to try these cookies with my friend. Their cookies are served warm! We decided to get a pack to try different flavors. We got the Confetti, Cookies 'n Cream, Salted Caramel, Sugar, and Snickerdoodle. I also got a White Chocolate Macadamia. Out of the bunch, the Snickerdoodle was my fave. The cookies in packs are placed into a box for easy portability and transport safe. The cookies recipes are tasty and balanced. They are baked to the perfect texture. Not too soft where they're falling apart (*cough*, like those other ones that are crumbling literally LOL). These cookies can hold their shape together. Nice crisp edges with a softer center. Very enjoyable. For the holiday season 2025, they have 3 special flavors for a limited time. The Candy Cane as described on their website, "brown sugar cookie with peppermint pieces and white chips in every bite", the Holiday Munchie Mix, "brown sugar cookie with bits of chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate chunks, marshmallows and festive red and green M&M's®" and the Jingle bread, "Ginger, molasses, and cinnamon come together in a warm cookie that's soft, chewy, and straight-up craveable". I would definitely try again and recommend to all my Yelp friends! They also got a rewards club that you can join! read more

Came by on a Saturday evening, right after they just had a rush hour. Ordered deluxe 6-pack, had to wait for about 10+ minutes for them to make a fresh batch. But it was fairly fast and good service. Props to the new guy working in the front. It's his 2nd week there and was very efficient! read more
Omgeeeeeee Small place but, the cookies they are serving are delightful. Six cookies $12.00. Let me tell you when the cookies come out they are just so warm and delicious. Yesterday if you purchased sex cookies you received a 7th one free. My cookies of choice were white macadamia, snickerdoodle and peanut butter. I can't even tell you which one was my favorite because I simply enjoyed them all. I'm glad this place is not close to my house. Being diabetic I have to watch what I eat. You must truly have control to enter. I was good. I was satisfied tasting 1/4 of each cookie. I wanted more but, I saved the rest for later. read more

Haven't been here in a while and I had a taste from fresh and good cookies. Stop here on my way home from work. I placed my order online so they would be ready when I got there. I ordered the variety pack, 12 count. They didn't have red velvet like I ordered and the employee kindly notified me and replaced it with a different cookie of my choice. They were a little under staff when I arrived. There was one girl working behind the counter and doing multiple jobs and looked like another staff worker making deliveries. Other than that my order was ready and waiting for me and asked usual the cookies were delicious. read more
Came here for a late night sweet treat. The place reeked of the sweet, intoxicating smell of baked goods. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady and told most cookies were still baking and it would be another five minutes. We decided to wait it out. We ordered the peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. They were packed to go straight out of the oven. Insomnia also has ice cream in case you wish to get a scoop between two of your cookies of choice. They also sell milk and water. We got to the car and popped open that box and went to town on an oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. The oatmeal raisin could have been baked a couple of more minutes as I picked it up, it began to fall apart. The snickerdoodle held its shape and faired better upon pickup out of the box. Both cookies had a nice taste, but to be honest, we were drawn to Insomnia as it was convenient to where we were late (after 11 pm) that evening and the $1.70 cost per cookie is pretty steep. On any given day, I would go for a sweet treat from an area grocery/convenience store. One thing that Insomnia had going for it is that they will deliver in the area up to 3am in the morning! All in all, a place to visit if you have a sugar jones, love cookies, and there is absolutely no other place open to cure your craving. read more

Haven't had Insomnia Cookies in years probably in about 10 years. Took my cousin here for her first time and she loved it! Fresh, soft, baked cookies. We had the 6ct (4 snickerdoodle, 1 oatmeal raisin and 1 chocolate chunk chip) for $10. The cookies literally fall apart with every bite, but it's a good fall apart lol. This particular location is a little small, but you have to consider the area. The staff who served us was nice. read more
I've had insomnia cookies at their founding location, Pennsylvania (upenn) It has a similar feel but this location is definitely more commercialized. However, the cookies are the same! My favorite thing to get is their brownie with a scoop of ice cream. I also recommend taking your treats to-go. This way you can have your own glass of milk at home. You definitely want milk because it's super sweet. And you need something to wash it all down with. However, their milk is almost 4$ for a small bottle. read more
Before I start this review, I just want to be clear that the 1 star is for this specific location, NOT Insomnia Cookies as a whole. I personally love Insomnia and I get them everywhere from NJ to Philly and of course here in Baltimore (usually the Fell's Point location). Now on to the review. I was craving something sweet during quarantine so I decided to order pick up from here. Upon arriving (at the time that my order said it would be ready) of course I had to knock on the door and wait a bit. Understandable. Once the person came to the door, she asked if I was there for pickup. I told her my name and she told me to hold on a moment. She came back and informed me that I would have to wait 10 minutes because they had to make more cookies. This was a bit confusing because I had put my order in 20 minutes earlier, and have never had to wait 30 minutes for Insomnia. Anyway, I did not mind. The guy finally brings out my order, and walks away. I check the box and not only am I missing 3 of the 7 cookies I ordered, but I was given a sugar cookie instead of a snickerdoodle. I get out the car, knock on the door, and let him know the issue. Even though my receipt was on top of the box, he asked which ones I was missing as if I was an inconvenience to him. So, I go back in my car and wait and about 5 minutes later...MY COOKIES. Well, I check the box and the joke is on me. The order is wrong AGAIN. I had the right amount, but there were three wrong cookies. I didn't even want to take the time to knock on the door again because I was kind of over it. I get home, my cousin starts to eat her ice cream and what do we find? A hair. read more

If I could give this place no starts I would. I didn't even get a chance to try the cookies because the door was locked when I tried to go in. It was about 11pm on a Saturday night, which is prime time for drunk people wanting their cookies. They were fully staffed, and you could clearly see that they were baking cookies. The staff was extremely rude, unfriendly, unprofessional. They didn't even come outside to say what was going on or why they weren't open. In fact one guy proceeded to sit right in the window and play on his phone without acknowledging the crowd. If you actually want to try insomnia cookies I would not recommend this location. read more

Was walking passed Insomnia Cookies on the way to the Inner Harbor and the smell of freshly baked cookies drew me inside the store. We just finished dinner so thought we'd only grab 6 cookies at most. Wrong! At $1.65/cookie, I couldn't pass up the deal they were having...13 cookies for $13. In my (pizza) box went chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, M & M's, and snickerdoodle cookies. Loved that they were freshly baked. They were warm, gooey, and not overly sweet.I ate 1.5 cookies on my way to the Harbor. So good! My favorite was the double chocolate chunk followed by the chocolate chunk. They definitely didn't skimp on the chocolate pieces. Unlike some of the other reviews, service on the night I went was prompt. The individual helping me out was friendly and helpful. Plenty of street parking available, but might be hard to come by. The store is small, with a few seats. Definitely more of a grab and go place. read more
If cookie making elves had to set up a brick and mortar establishment...this would be that place. Cookies can be purchased individually or in a 6 or 12 pack. Catering is available as well. If a cookie alone isn't enough, you can select 2 cookies and build your own cookie-wich. Small location in Baltimore with limited street parking. Insomnia cookies has a cult following for people who drive from all over to sample their fare. Most people seek out diner food after the club but they are open into the wee hours of the night to get your fix. There is also an assortment of brownies to drool over as well. read more
I like cookies. You know what I don't like? Rude workers. The cookies-- A-OK to satisfy a cookie craving. Wish I lived closer to experience the warm delivery straight to my door at 3 a.m. My only other experience with Insomnia was when they had a table at the Yelp Elite "Drop It Like It's Yacht" event. Of course, the service at the event and the cookie presentation was on point. However, the lone worker at Insomnia tonight could use some customer service training, a Red Bull, or maybe just an attitude adjustment. Hoping that it was just a fluke, but things like that make me not want to patronize in the future. read more
