Unarguably the worst Indian-Chinese restaurant in all of MD! Go here only if you're seeking premature death from the oiliest, spiciest(needlessly) & greasiest Indian-Chinese food in the entire USA. Indo-Chinese cuisine is supposed to be a subtle Confluence of flavors but here literally everything tastes the same(bad to awful) here. I had the chili chicken & chicken Manchurian .They gave me 2 identical dishes that tasted exactly the same & worst of all it's nowhere in the vicinity of being considered Indian-Chinese . This place was a former regular hole-in-the-wall regular Chinese restaurant that was doing badly---so they rebranded it to attract the large Desi population from the area. Disgusting at so many levels And to top it off the service (OMG the attitude of the owner lady!) is so bad , that I am simply amazed that this place has remained in business as long as it has Oh and if you do go here ---please note that the food is NOT Halal---not even close. read more

This plays blows other local chinese joints out of the water. The portions are large and they serve A LOT of rice with the dishes. One thing I have found is that at other chinese places I always end up having to ask for extra rice...not here. I have ordered delivery from here once and done takeout the other times. The delivery service was prompt and courteous. Plus, the driver had no issue at all finding our house (other drivers have had problems in the past). I generally get pretty basic dishes like the sesame chicken or the General Tso's chicken. All have been very tasty and none have had that "rubbery" texture that is sometimes found in chinese takeout joints. The prices are a bit steep compared to similar restaurants. BUT, they have recently added (or at least made it more public perhaps) a dinner combo platter that is lower in price. If you live locally and you want good quality food come here! This was my second time eating here and my experience definitely warranted a great review. The food is very fresh and flavorful! We got the Hakka crispy chicken, the spicy hot fish, Mongolian beef , Sichuan beef, and also the veggie lo Mein. Everything we got was really good, but the Hakka crispy chicken and the spicy hot fish was my favorite- they were both very flavorful. The seating area is kind of small so it's not ideal for large groups but I would say the food makes up for it. read more

This restaurant is a family favorite and my father-in-law is a regular here every Friday after prayers. It has a fully Halal menu and friendly staff. The food is delicious, I recommend the crunchy chicken. Bring sweatpants as you will need room for expansion in the waist line. Its definitely more of a take out place but has some tables inside enough to fit a few families. read more

I don't know no issues I ordered egg foo young -shrimp that isn't in menu. It was fine a little over cooked to me -i like mine more fluffy--but if that patty ain't done --/it's a wrap for me. So it was fine. The gravy was really good and ample amount of shrimp. No issues for me, prices a little high but as it was raining so hard and this was near where I was ---at the time it worked. Imma go back and try something else a little more adventurous off the menu. Lady at counter was super nice no issues at all. I'll go back and try a combo platter that's reasonable price wise for lunch $7/all day platters $8-10 depending on what u get. For my experience I'd give 3.5 stars if I could based off of good experience But if your looking for " DMV" Georgia Ave/joint like carry out this ain't it. their food is awesome, service is even better. i haven't been able to find a chinese food place that matches this place; and i'm more than willing to make the hour drive there and back for their food. i can't say enough good things about it. their lo mein and fried rice is to die for and the steamed dumplings are really good too. any protein they have w broccoli is amazing and their soup is the best soup i've had hands down. nothing, and i mean nothing compares. read more

I was in town for a couple of weeks and I love halal Chinese food and this place was absolutely fantastic. We visited twice and each time the food was 5 stars. We tried crispy beef, tso chicken, crispy chicken wings, and general tso wings. General tso wings are better than crispy chicken wings. read more

This is one of the few best Chinese restaurants in the area! The food is great and reasonably priced! I come here every other week and especially enjoy their General Tso Beef. The portions are good for the price as well. Sometimes I even have to save some food for later, which is very rare for me, considering I can eat for three:) anyways, I do definitely will return to this location in the future. read more

My friend picked up the food here and we ate it at a local picnic spot, so I was not able to comment on the location or friendliness of the employees. I do however very much like the food. I did think it was more Chinese rather than indo-chinese. The flavors were bursting and every item was delicious. I've been here before but the most recent time I came I noticed that the cooks were not using gloves but still handling the food. As I waited to pay for my food I watched how they wiped their noses handled vegetables AND meat all without washing their hands once or wearing gloves. The owner I presume saw my face and and tried to tell me that it's all in my head and that plastic gloves really don't protect against anything which really put me off. I don't think I'll be returning. It's too bad because the food is decent otherwise. read more

We have been going to indochine for some time and love the food. We have some favorites like the Hunan chicken, Manchurian chicken, garlic chicken, Hakka crispy beef and pepper steak. The rice and lo mein are also good. The ambiance is not appealing but we mostly carry out. The reason for the 3 stars is that this place, for being halal, is not Ramadan friendly. Ordered food for ifthar and had to wait extra 40 mins past ifthar time to get my food. For a halal place they should be more conscientious of that and either not take orders or give realistic pick up times. read more

I lived in india for a while and one of my favorite cuisines was Indo-Chinese. This is false advertising. Absolutely not indo-Chinese like I know it. Anyways thought I'd try it and got the spicy wings (as other reviews stated) and hot and sour soup (which they only serve 1 size for $6.50). The wings were fried with onions and chilli on top, not a sauce. I then found a hair in my soup. Lady agreed. I asked for my $ back for the soup. The cook came out an told me to go away and not come back. This is one of the dirtiest rip off spots I've been to. Go to curry and kabob across the street and spend money on fresh clean food instead, like I wish I did. read more

The wings are very good, but after asking the front desk person. The Halal branding is questionable since no Muslims actually work in the store. I'm assuming the owner is Muslim, but with an all non-Muslim staff I'm vary wary of buying food here. Once I found out after asking, I probably will not go back again. It's hard to find HALAL chinese food that is actually good. Inodchine isn't just good, it's AMAZING. PLEASE get their general tso chicken. It was perfect. The dine in isn't that great, it was crowded but hey, it's the food that matters. I got a to-go general tso and it lasted me two days - they give so much for the price. I would say this place is a hit or miss. The quality of the food is very inconsistent even for the same items ordered on different days/weeks. Its a small place so we typically get carry-out. If you live close by and call in to order make sure you call again to make sure you're food is actually ready. Just recently we placed an order at 7pm and was told the food would be ready in 20 mins. We get there at 7:30pm to pick up the food and they hadn't even started making the food yet! The food wasn't ready until 7:50pm. Totally unacceptable. When I asked what happened and complained about it they just threw their hands up in the air and said "sorry we only have one chef today". I said you could have told us this when we called in and ordered. The lady had no answer. No discount was given, even for a ~$50 order. Fail. The only thing this place has going for it is the fact that the meat is halal and there are no other halal Chinese restaurants in the area. read more

It is almost impossible for me to find halal chinese actually made by chinese. (When u say u r are halal chinese, and you only employ desis (indians & pakistanis) or latinos, u can be sure your chinese won't be up to par.) Anyway, this is our go-to destination for halal chinese. Their hakka crispy chicken is the bomb. Their other dishes are also very good. Hakka crispy beef, their lo meins, etc. Their dining room is pretty small and can get cramped, and their tables and chairs are mediocre, but they provide a generous amount of food for the price paid, so it all evens out. Beware the drunk fools who stare at you at the outdoor-bar next door to this place when you leave. read more

Don't judge a restaurant by it's look. Definitely keep that in mind when coming here. The place is run down. But the the food and service are good and quick. We love getting the chicken corn soup and General Tso's is my favorite. read more
