I've only ever gotten take out from here. The food is delicious. I love that I can get a mix of flavors in the same meal. The Chinese dishes have a little bit of Indian flare which provides a nice depth to popular Chinese take out options. I will continue to come here for my Indian and Chinese. Pretty awesome restaurant in Alexandria. We came in for lunch right when they opened so we were probably the first ones there. Ordered the Fried Sardines and Fish Ball to start. The Fried Sardines were good but didn't really enjoy the sauce it came with. The garlic chili sauce on the Fish Balls however went well with the sardines. Fish balls were a bit over cooked but not bad. For our main course, we ordered the Fish Mandarin, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani pot and some Garlic Naan. All of which were delicious and amazing. I was super excited to try this place from the reviews. Unfortunately, the place didn't meet the mark for me. The biggest let down was that nothing came out pippin hot. Not the appetizers nor the entrees. I've never eaten dumplings at room temperature. Kale salad was not freshly fried as it was also served cold and seemed stale. Great concept, poor execution. Ordered Manchurian for an appetizer but it was undercooked and poorly seasoned. I could taste the cornstarch in every bite. Vegetable curry was mediocre at best as the curry was thick and stuck to bite sized pieces of broccoli and zucchini. I MEAN WOW WOW WOW!!! We just move here from Hawaii and by pure luck we found this gem!! Tonight was our second time here and we brought my mom who just flew in. We could have taken here anywhere to welcome here off the plane and we chose to come here. We felt the Aloha in the service and the spectacular food! The service is out of this world! Need some examples- I had to take a work call when the food arrived, when I returned they offered to heat up my food, or bring another hot dish! They brought extra sauce because they noticed we were scrapping the bowl for any leftover sauce. We didn't even have to ask for it! All the servers are friendly, polite, and attentive! The food- Let us just say that we were all saying YUM out loud for every single bite and so was this little 3 year old at the table next to us (so cute!). We recommend- the short ribs, the lamb dumpling, shrimp chow mein, chicken spring rolls, and the BUTTER CHICKEN with naan!!! oooo and the spicy margarita! Called the restaurant on Saturday to make a reservation. They told me they were booked until 7:30. I wanted them to take my name but they said at that time it wouldn't be necessary. We arrived just before 7:30 and could see about a half a dozen empty tables. We were told that it would be 15-20 minutes. We were told to sit at the bar. After 20 minutes of being ignored by the staff we left. We had watched other people come in and get seated. We had watched several tables pay their bill and leave so now there were even more empty tables, yet some were being sent to the bar and being told 15-20 minutes. This place was super cute and if I could I would give 4.5 stars, because of the great atmosphere. The dining area offered a decent amount of tables, even with incorporating Covid safety protocols. We arrived around 8:15pm and they were very accommodating with seating us (we were nervous because they closed at 9pm). When we were seated, we quickly received water, but it was quite a bit of time before we were able to put our order in. Not a problem, we generally talk more than look at the menu anyways and weren't in a rush. We decided to go with the Salmon big plate dish and the Lamb Rogan Josh (QUITE THE NAME!). I wasn't a huge fan of the Salmon dish...it was cooked well, but just didn't have great flavor/seasoning and I don't think the Palak Paneer complimented it very well, but ohhh man did the Lamb rogan steal my heart - my tastebuds were in heaven! It had the right amount of spice, sauce, and the lamb was just so tender it'd melt in your mouth! I would definitely recommend this dish to anyone who's a lamb fan! The waitstaff was friendly, but hard to come by. Not a big deal, we understood it was near closing time so folks were getting off.
