I would give this place 3.5 starts if I could. The juice: The customer service is immaculate, The carry out is very CLEAN ! The food has a FRESH taste which is very good! You can tell they take pride in the quality of the food. The price is very reasonable and the lunch specials come with egg rolls. The Cons: Although the general chicken was very flavorful, the shrimp and broccoli was very bland! It had not seasoning, no salt, no pepper, just no flavor at all. The rice was just alright. The biggest part was how unflavored my shrimp and broccoli was... That was my whole meal really. ... Ohh and both the spring rolls and egg rolls were just okay aswell.

Decent carry out for the area. The food is reasonably priced, the restaurant itself is very clean, and the employees are sweet. The reason for 3 stars is because they don't have a lot of the typical Chinese American options that I've come to expect from Chinese carry out. No shrimp rolls? No fried scallops? Homemade iced tea/ lemonade? With the quality being above average already, having those staples would make this 5 stars for sure.

Definition of a hole in the wall place that's run by a nice lady. Perfect takeout Chinese place since there isn't a whole lot of seating to dine in. The service and food is excellent though. What it lacks in ambiance and allure it makes up for by keeping the prices at a fair level with each item being a few dollars cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in the Arlington area. Lunch specials are a great value with plenty of food. Each time I've eaten here, I've seen my food being made from scratch. The general Tso chicken has a perfect level of crisp and is saucy enough to avoid being dry. Hot and sour soup is among the best I've had in the DMV

They couldn't afford to fill it to the top apparently!!

I'll never order from this place again! I ordered the Moo Shu Pork, and it comes with plum sauce. They sent one of the tiny containers of plum sauce that is not even half full. Also, at a good restaurant the Moo Shu pork has delicious flavors. This is like they cooked the pork and everything else without putting any sauces or seasoning at all. None! For a $16 meal I would expect for it to be cooked properly and give at least one FULL plum sauce!!

This place makes me feel like I'm back home in Jersey City. Finally, a place where there is no seating (that's the whole point of Chinese takeout), the food is prepared faster than you can say "Top's China" 10 times, there's one person who speaks full English and will help you in the case of bad miscommunication, and the food tastes 'ghetto' and not fancy - if you know what I mean! It's kind of sad that this is the only place in the Pike area that has the highest rating. Chinese food really isn't popular around here! Hopefully this rating allows for people to visit/rate them more for more reviews! The parking is a little tricky but thankfully you will never be in there for more than 30 minutes, no matter how much food you order. They're that fast! So you should be able to find a spot soon. If not, just call ahead and double park, or order for delivery. Since this is our go-to spot especially because it's so close to us, more photos to come!

I hadn't visited since 2021, but I recently stopped in to order the wonderful steamed dumplings I used to enjoy. Instead, I paid $2.00 each for small, flavorless dumplings, and even the dipping sauce was disappointingly bland. I can honestly find better dumplings in the frozen food aisle of a grocery store. According to an article I found online, Mrs. Ann Troung owned and ran Peking Pavilion until it was sold to her nephew. It may be time for Mrs. Troung to return and offer guidance to the new owner, because the restaurant is unlikely to survive if it continues to serve overpriced, uninspired food.

The food came out a little bit slow despite the restaurant not being full, which contributed to us eating less than I expected to during the 90 min res. But, for AYCE the food quality definitely beat my expectations. Would skip the crispy garlic rice as it was pretty plain and the souffle pancake (honestly more sponge cake than souffle?). I've heard the Braised Beef Lu is good so I'd come back to try that next time. If you're looking for a modern asian brunch/lunch spot, definitely recommend checking out this restaurant!

We've since ordered multiple times, but the quality of the crispy beef has been inconsistent. However, my opinion changed when my wife and I dined in the restaurant for the first time. It will not be our last. What drove me to dine in was the ambience I observed when I picked up a previous takeout order. It was a really nice place, with neat décor, plenty of seating, and a serving staff that was obviously attentive. This remained my impression when we came here for the first time recently. Contrary to our takeout orders, the food blew us away when it was fresh from the kitchen. Perhaps this was because we ordered different things, or perhaps because what we ordered to-go (e.g., fried eggplant, Szechuan chicken) did not travel well. Whatever the case, but this was some of the best Chinese food we have eaten in a long time. For appetizers we ordered the puffy scallion pancake, which was fun to tear and share, and came with some very nice curry sauce or dipping. We also ordered the pork soup dumplings, which were everything you could want in a soup dumpling - piping hot with a warm, soul-soothing broth inside (but which does not travel particularly well in takeout orders). For our entrees, my wife ordered the duck fried rice. I am not the biggest fan of fried rice, but this was some of the best I ever had. The duck favor was prominent but not overwhelming and the pineapple was the best integrated I have ever experienced in a savory dish. I had leftover for lunch today and it was still quite good. I ordered the fish in chili oil, a bubbling, soupy dish covered in peppers. This was phenomenal, an excellent balance of heat, numbing, and flavor. And there was plenty of fish in the dish, as well. I will be hard pressed not to order this every time we come here in the future. We split the fried green beans (solid - crisp and well spiced), which I ate for breakfast over rice with some of the leftover fish. Again, it was still good. As my previous comments imply, serving sizes are large.

These dishes were way too spicy for me, should have heeded the warning when there are 3 chili symbols on the menu: chili fish, szechuan chicken.
