    Chinese food

A solid Chinese takeout spot. Inside was your typical Chinese takeout place, service was friendly. All the food was well priced. The lo mein was very tasty and the chicken was cooked well. The rice and sweet and sour chicken had that classic Chinese taste you expect. The star of the whole show was the fried dumplings. Perfect crisp and paired amazingly with the sauce they give you.

It's my favorite local, Chinese takeout place. I can't speak to the other foods, but I've ordered fried chicken wings. The four piece. With french fries and the shrimp spicy fried rice is amazing. That's the only thing I really order here but it's a really good local Chinese restaurant. I ordered four things and it was only $39 +1 dollar for delivery. About roughly $10 a meal. Will definitely be ordering her a lot. Gotta support the locals. Very quick with the delivery too.

Mushrooms, tough/rubbery meat I couldn't chew and the small amount of beef I received

Ordered hunan beef, eggs rolls whatever my grandson ordered. Hunan beef was tasteless, rubbery and had more mushrooms than beef. The best part of the meal was the piece of hard broccoli I took out of my container.

    Fried Chicken Wonton (10)

Let's start with thank God they're open late because not much things are open late on Richmond highway these days. I ordered the fried Chicken wontons and you get 10 pieces for $3.75. The steamed dumplings you get 8 pieces for $5.25, and Gunpower Shrimp which comes with white rice "Crispy jumbo shrimp sauteed with chopped onion in chef's special salt and pepper" As you can tell I ordered while being super hungry because I did not eat all of that food in one sitting. What I can tell you is that every single thing I ordered was delicious. I can't wait to go back and explore other items from the menu. They definitely have a new customer.

Listen.. I was very skeptical about ordering from here due to the recent reviews but I noticed that the owner responded to certain reviews which shows me that they really care about their quality of food so I decided to give it a chance. Every single dish was 5. Absolutely delicious! Crab Rangoon had a nice light crips to the bite, flavorful and had plenty of fillings. Spring Roll, crisp, fresh and fragrant. Not greasy like other places. You can tell they use fresh grease here. The fried dumplings *chefs kiss* ‍ fresh! My daughter said this is the best chicken and broccoli she has ever had and my orange chicken is in my Top 3 of best I've ever had. Great job! I will definitely come back again! A+

Its bait and switch. The website says: Fried chicken wings whole -- plain $5.25 -- w. French fries or plain fried rice $6.25 -- w.chicken or pork Fried rice $7.25. When you order, it's $6.25 for plain. I got a call because they are out of the half chicken (always) and when I tried to ask on the phone about the price, I got yelled at. I took a pic on my phone of the web page and when I went to pick up my food, I showed it and was told I was wrong. ""It's the price in the cart, not the web page and you (meaning me) should call their web master company."" To top it off the girl who takes the orders is RUDE AS F**** and she likes to yells at you to make her point!

    Kung Pao Shrimp

Ordered kung pao shrimp with fried rice and honestly if you want more vegetables than shrimp, get this plate. This plate only had 4 pieces of shrimp while majority of it was vegetables. Taste was good though.

We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +Crab Rangoon - triangular-shaped, generously filled with the cream cheese/crab mixture; could have been a bit more crispy, as it was slightly chewy; the sweet & sour dipping sauce was a great complement +Chow Fun - we opted for the beef as a protein; the noodles were extremely wide, which was great; you can kick it up with chili oil and soy sauce; beef were plentiful +Mongolian Beef - lots of onions and scallions, this had a good flavor; you can add more of a saltiness to it with soy sauce This is definitely a family-run and -operated eatery, as the youngest son was taking orders and manning the register; all orders were made-to-order, so what you will be receiving will be super fresh! The owners were very kind, friendly, and attentive! There were a couple of tables inside, so we chose to dine in. Everything tasted fresh, not at all salty, and prepared with care and love. I'd love to try out their lunch specials and other chef specialty entrees on the next visit. This is a family-run restaurant and it was great to see that they had their very young son manning the counter and the cash register in a totally professional way. The menu is straight-forward with the usual and expected dishes. One dish I did not expect to see, but did, were hush puppies! Everything we ordered for takeout was excellent. Portions are generous and inexpensive. Note: there are two tables in the restaurant if you prefer to dine in. We ordered egg drop soup, crispy pork wontons, Mongolian Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The egg drop soup was better than your typical egg drop soup, with a flavorful broth and silky but still hearty texture. The wontons were packed with pork and came with a tasty bright red dipping sauce that complimented the wontons nicely. The Mongolian Beef and Mongolian Chicken are the same dish, with the only difference being the meat. These dishes were very well prepared with just the right amount of onion, scallion and sauce. The beef had a delicious slightly smoky flavor and was cut into nicely shaped pieces. The Mongolian dishes automatically come with white rice. Speaking of the rice, it had a great texture and just the right amount of moisture. Take out orders may take up to a half hour for them to be prepared, but it is well worth the wait. We will be back.

STEAMED CHICKEN MOMO (6) - 13 The chicken momos sat on top of a creamy chili garlic sauce that was a bit spicy. The momos were juicy and the filling was soft and flavorful. Good appetizer to share between the three of us. BUTTER CHICKEN - 19 Creamy and rich, tasted a bit sweeter than I was used to, almost like a chicken tikka masala. Pretty standard, but got the job done. Plenty of chicken in our curry. SAAG PANEER - 19 Vibrant green with the perfect loose, creamy texture that wasn't too chunky. Good amount of paneer in our portion. The spinach actually tasted like spinach, which I find rare at other restaurants that also serve saag/palak paneer. Definitely one of the better ones I've had! GARLIC NAAN - 4 Pretty typical, but good nonetheless. It was a bit greasy than I would have liked, but went well with the curries when we wanted to switch between bites of the basmati rice. Portions were pretty big and generous. Everything we ordered hit and all above average. The three of us were quite full after sharing an app + naan + two entrees. Stop by if you're in the area!

Always appreciate the minimalist yet still eloquently-decorated aesthetic of the restaurants, complete with a window to view the kitchen, which itself seemed relatively clean and well-kempt. Ordered the Woodear Mushroom and Mint Salad, and the Mogu Shiitake Mixian Ramen. The mushrooms were light and chewy, yet savory with citric and garlicky elements, and overall very refreshing. The ramen was solid in most respects, with a decent variety of vegetables and multiple proteins, including tofu, shiitakes, soybeans and marinated egg (which I enjoyed despite typically not liking hard-boiled egg too much). The noodles were a little bland, however, and didn't taste like they absorbed much of the broth. Overall, I'd say 4.5 stars are more accurate; YbP Noodle House is a regular haunt for me because the quality is there in most respects.

The restaurant had a back section that looked like it could be used as a separate party room and more booths and table in the front. Our server was good. He checked in with us frequently and made sure to keep us informed on our food status after taking our order. I would say if you get this, you should eat it first/soonest since i enjoyed it more at first bite while it was hot. The walnut shrimp was good, the shrimps were the smaller ones that were an easy way to snack. The braised pork belly was so tender. It reminded me of char siu, flavor wise, as long as you're ok with the pork belly (aka fatty pieces). Beef chow fun was good. We were interested in ordering the bento box, but he explained that it would take much longer because the kitchen was focused on brunch service and the chef would need to stop other tasks to prepare it.
