This is one of the better fast food Americanized Chinese take-out only places. You can order online or call direct. Food is always consistently made. Portions are consistent and jam packed into the containers. I like spicy food and no matter how much I ask, it's never spicy enough. I just add my own chili oil at home.

Ordered here a couple more times since the last review and they keep getting our online orders wrong. We ordered a Lo Mein dish and when we got home, opened it to see it was a Fried Rice instead. We overlooked this since it only happened once at that time. We went there again today and ordered our regular Beef Chow Fun and got home to find out it was Beef Lo Mein instead. The only reason we even went there was for the chow fun. Extremely disappointing that this keeps happening especially since the chow fun is more expensive. That is such a cheap move to do to loyal customers who drive 25+ minutes each way to come here and order over $30 of food each visit. This happened too many times to just be a coincidence. Will not be returning.

Pretty basic Chinese food but it hit the spot. The chicken and shrimp Lomein stole the show while the General Tso chicken could've been better. Would order again if wanting inexpensive take out

We decided to give Good Luck another try - I was a little nervous, as our previous experience was years ago, and it wasn't that memorable. We were craving for some Americanized Chinese fare, and we had read that this place serves up some good chow fun - so, we placed an order in-person and ordered the following: +Crab Rangoon - these were more flat and didn't have much filling, but it was still a good app to start off with; the sweet & sour dipping sauce wasn't overly sweet, either, which was great +Beef Chow Fun - this was pretty tasty; the noodles were slightly overcooked, but the flavors were spot on, and it was of a generous portion; definitely not as salty, which we appreciated, but you can doctor it up with some soy sauce and chili oil +General Tso's Shrimp - the shrimp was large, and you can request this to be extra spicy; however, there was no kick +Szechuan Crispy Beef - these were on the overly sweet side, as the sauce is definitely that; however, the beef itself was crispy, and you can request this to be extra spicy which may give a very slight kick to it The rice that comes with the entrees were forgettable; they were kind of clumpy and mushy, and seemed kind of discolored. Note that this place is strictly a carry-out, so you'll have to call ahead and place orders or place orders in person; the place is definitely popular, as the phone continued to ring, and there were patrons coming in often for a pickup. Staff are pretty friendly and efficient. There are a couple of chairs inside you'd like to wait for your order. Parking available in the front. +beef chow fun +friendly & efficient staff +parking available

My go-to Chinese to-go place! So quick and reliable. Quality AND quantity of food is great. I've gotten several dishes and have never been disappointed. I'm always coming back here and for good reason

Good Luck..... I came off of a recommendation. I honestly think the prices are a little high even post pandemic. I ordered the sesame chicken. I wish the chicken was a little more crispy before they added the sauce. I also ordered plain fried rice which was $1.00 extra but it was lacking in any sort of flavor. Decent if that's what you like. I definitely have had better but unfortunately it's not in the local area.

Friday night takeout done right! Everything we ordered was really good besides the crab rangoon. There is not much filling or flavor in them and it's normally my favorite thing!! I ordered online and picked up in person, the food was ready when it said it would be. Definitely a carry out only type of vibe.

We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +Crab Rangoon - triangular-shaped, generously filled with the cream cheese/crab mixture; could have been a bit more crispy, as it was slightly chewy; the sweet & sour dipping sauce was a great complement +Chow Fun - we opted for the beef as a protein; the noodles were extremely wide, which was great; you can kick it up with chili oil and soy sauce; beef were plentiful +Mongolian Beef - lots of onions and scallions, this had a good flavor; you can add more of a saltiness to it with soy sauce This is definitely a family-run and -operated eatery, as the youngest son was taking orders and manning the register; all orders were made-to-order, so what you will be receiving will be super fresh! The owners were very kind, friendly, and attentive! There were a couple of tables inside, so we chose to dine in. Everything tasted fresh, not at all salty, and prepared with care and love. It also has a really cool vibe on the inside. It's situated at the bottom of the Hyatt on King/Harvard. We ordered the samosa chat, pav bhaji, butter chicken, and CTM. Everything was so delicious. The samosa chaat comes with the tamarind and mint dressings already mixed in. Our server, Sam, was attentive and super kind! He offered us extra rice when we were a bit too enthusiastic with our curry portions. I cannot recommend this place enough!

STEAMED CHICKEN MOMO (6) - 13 The chicken momos sat on top of a creamy chili garlic sauce that was a bit spicy. The momos were juicy and the filling was soft and flavorful. Good appetizer to share between the three of us. BUTTER CHICKEN - 19 Creamy and rich, tasted a bit sweeter than I was used to, almost like a chicken tikka masala. Pretty standard, but got the job done. Plenty of chicken in our curry. SAAG PANEER - 19 Vibrant green with the perfect loose, creamy texture that wasn't too chunky. Good amount of paneer in our portion. The spinach actually tasted like spinach, which I find rare at other restaurants that also serve saag/palak paneer. Definitely one of the better ones I've had! GARLIC NAAN - 4 Pretty typical, but good nonetheless. It was a bit greasy than I would have liked, but went well with the curries when we wanted to switch between bites of the basmati rice. Portions were pretty big and generous. Everything we ordered hit and all above average. The three of us were quite full after sharing an app + naan + two entrees. Stop by if you're in the area!

The restaurant had a back section that looked like it could be used as a separate party room and more booths and table in the front. Our server was good. He checked in with us frequently and made sure to keep us informed on our food status after taking our order. We tried the scallion bubble pancake, walnut shrimp, Mr Zhangs red braised pork belly, and beef chow fun. The bubble pancake was fun and had a good crunch and served with like a curry dip sauce. I would say if you get this, you should eat it first/soonest since i enjoyed it more at first bite while it was hot. The walnut shrimp was good, the shrimps were the smaller ones that were an easy way to snack. The braised pork belly was so tender. It reminded me of char siu, flavor wise, as long as you're ok with the pork belly (aka fatty pieces). Beef chow fun was good. They used nice wide noodles that were cooked well, not too soft, and had good onions, bean sprouts, and other veggies. I would come back try other things!

I have now made it to six Peter Chang restaurants in the DMV!…read more When I was looking through the menu I must have missed that it was a Peter Chang restaurant. I only saw food items that looked really good. It wasn't until I saw the bubble pancake did I realize. So of course we ordered the bubble and bento to begin. Loved the variety in the bento box and wished that it came with at least two of the soup dumplings, siu mai, and har gow. You just can't share a soup dumpling! We ordered the chow fun and salt and pepper shrimp. This was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The chow fun will always be my favorite childhood noodle dish. The shrimp was nice and crispy. And for any non-alcoholic drinkers out there, they have a lychee drink which was very refreshing. My only complaint is that with a party of seven, we were told that there was a $20 deposit per person for a reservation. Our reservation was for the non-busy hour of 4:30 p.m. I can understand large parties of say 20 or more in which you will be taking up a good portion of the restaurant but this policy is a first for me. Parking is available in the paid garage on the same block.
