Baingan bhartha with roti and paneer 65

Got food to go but the setting seems nice and clean although there was no one dining in on. Sat evening. The cashier was attentive and answered my queries. The paneer was spicy and delicious but its was a tiny portion 4 very small pieces of paneer. The bharta was nice but the peas were uncooked and did not taste much of baingan. The roti was tough.

Goat biryani, chicken 65, daal and garlic naan

We loved the place. Lamb karahi was very good! And my picky child raved about the tasty rice.

Service can be a little hit or miss but we have never had any major issues and most of the time it is attentive. We always get multiple sea boils and an assortment of the fried foods for our family of 6 and the portions are plentiful. For the boils we order the hot special Cajun which really is not spicy at all but the flavor is good. The shrimp are good size and the crab is cooked well. The fried food has always been hot and fresh. Personally, I do not love the cocktails as they are on the sweeter side so I usually have a beer or soda. The prices are great for the amount of food you get, probably the best in the area.

Usually I don't do reviews so late after but I just remembered our horrible experience. The seafood boil sauce was tasteless and oily, everything else extremely greasy or cheesy (I actually did like the fries though). The service was beyond terrible-- and I remember this from the first time we came last year or so too. We tried to flag down our server on multiple occasions for stuff and they were nowhere to be found. After we paid our bill, they gave us 1 container and no bag... We were looking for someone to help us for like 10 minutes and there was no one anywhere to be found we finally were looking around the host stand (no one there either) and there was a couple waiting for the rest of their food. They saw how distraught we were about getting a bag to line the outside of our saucy seafood boil bag and they just gave us theirs, thank their kind souls. Will not come back unless this is the only place open for business for some reason. The food isn't inedible, the service is just horrendous; no one wants to work here.

We ordered the half parrillada: argentina and it was a good amount of food for two people. The steak came out medium rare as we asked but it really didn't taste like it had much seasoning. The chorizo was full of flavor though and the milanesa sandwich was surprisingly very good (wish they added a condiment though haha but we asked for mayo). The way everything came together in that sandwich worked really well. The plantains were just okay but the mashed potatoes were SO good and creamy. Maybe the best thing on the menu Service could have been better. After being greeted it took around ten minutes before anyone came back to take our order and our waitress didn't check on the table much during the meal. It felt a little unorganized and we had to go find the waitress and ask for a to go box and the check. Overall there were definitely some standout items With more consistent service and better seasoning on the steak this place could easily be five stars. Here's my ratings! Steak: 7.5/10 Chorizo: 9/10 Milanesa: 8.5/10 Mash Potatoes: 10/10!! Plantains: 3/10 Empanada Queso: 1/10

Day two of four in sweltering heat (98+), I snagged a last-minute reservation at one of my favorite spots with two of my favorite people: my partner and my niece. We were advised of a one-hour wait but were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 20 minutes. You could tell people came to enjoy good food, good conversation, and each other's company. A responsive and attentive server, here's what made its way to our table: Crispy Cooked Twice WANGS: Golden Hushpuppies Flaky Haddock Steamy Rice Pilaf Fresh Green Beans & Carrots Succulent Crab Legs Under seasoned Mac & Cheese Sweet Corn on the Cob The food was served hot and the portions were generous. Another great experience!

The restaurant has a huge patio, and they were even adding extra tables outside the enclosed patio to accommodate the weekend crowd. Inside, there's a bar with a few two-top tables, while the main dining room is a bit smaller and can feel cramped when it's busy. Downstairs you'll find additional seating, the restrooms, and even a few pinball machines. The drink menu is impressive, with a wide selection of cocktails, plenty of draft and bottled beers, plus pitchers and beer buckets if you're with a group. If you're coming for the blue crabs, plan ahead--they take about 45 minutes to cook. We ordered a dozen oysters while we waited for our dozen XL crabs, and it was the perfect appetizer. I loved that you can mix and match oysters by the half dozen to try different varieties with varying sizes and salinity. They were incredibly fresh and flavorful, needing nothing more than a squeeze of lemon or a little cocktail sauce. Between the dozen oysters and the dozen XL crabs, it was more than enough food for two people. Service was fantastic despite how busy they were. Yesica checked on us throughout the meal and even stopped by because she thought our oysters hadn't arrived--we had already devoured them! The rest of the staff was equally impressive, constantly clearing and resetting tables to keep everything moving smoothly. Just be aware that Quarterdeck automatically adds a 20% gratuity to the bill. Overall, this was an outstanding experience. Great seafood, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu--and, of course, order more crabs.

They had some good soulful music playing in the background, and it gave off a real welcoming, at-home type of vibe. I believe the owner took my order, and broke everything down for me, which I appreciated. I ordered the fish and shrimp. The fish was very good and well-seasoned. The shrimp were jumbo, fried golden, and had a lot of flavor. Portions were solid -- I didn't even finish everything in one sitting and had some left for the next day. They also had a frozen fruit punched lol. That was a nice touch and fit the whole vibe of the place. Not a sitting area but this is a place you call your order in before you get there and take it back to the house. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. If I'm back in the area, I would definitely come back and grab another plate. If you're looking for some good seafood (and more), this is a spot worth checking out.

It's carry-out only and located on the top of mini hill with some auto repair shops surrounding it. Parking was a bit stressful, but the promise of good food made it worth it. The menu was pretty straightforward, and we got our food after a short wait. DINNER: WHITING - 20 + two sides: mac & cheese, coleslaw The fried whiting fish was thin, but perfectly crispy (even after a 20 minute car ride) and well-seasoned. Each bite was flavorful. The mac & cheese actually tasted 3D, unlike the bland, powdered cheese that is used at most places. It was on the thicker and chunkier side, the more I ate, the more addictive it got. The coleslaw was very refreshing and not too creamy. The portions were large, and my friend and I were full after sharing the platter. BREAD PUDDING - 4 This was fine, but not out of the ordinary. Probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, this is a hidden gem that is worth going to. I was worried the fried foods and heavier sides would irritate my stomach's sensitivity, but none of that happened here! Will definitely be back for other entrees and sides!

Since the reservation form asked if we were celebrating anything, I hoped we would be placed in a special area or at least somewhere more intimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were led up a staircase, which offered a cool view of the environment, but ended up at a small table in a small high traffic area. Initially, we thought it was a unique experience because of the restaurant's interior design, but we soon realized it was going to be uncomfortable...because heat rises and we were stuck upstairs with so many other people who seemed just as warm as us. It was excessively hot, and I found myself fanning myself with one of the menus at the table. While our server was probably trying his best, the service left much to be desired. We were eager to leave as soon as we arrived. After ordering and enjoying what we could of our meals, which were quite good, we just wanted to leave. However, our server was absent for a long time, leaving us stuck at the table. Instead of being a cute little anniversary dinner, it just turned out to be a disappointing experience at a new restaurant
