Zaytoun Halal Grill is a great place to visit for something quick. If you are familiar with NYC-Style Halal Plates, then this wouldn't be any surprise to you. The parking outside is a bit interesting but if you are coming in to pick up, it's not too bad but I can see this being packed at night. Parking can be limited for sure. Ranging from Rice Platters, Kabab Platters, Sandwiches, Wings, Tenders, Gyros, Salads, and Dessert, this place a lot for what it's offering. The staff were friendly and recommended me to try the Kabob platter after mentioning seeing that in the Menu. I ended up getting the Combo over Rice as it's my go to. Gyro Meat, Chicken, Cucumbers, Lettuce, over a bed of rice drizzled with White and Red Sauce. It is my go to meal and you can't go wrong with that. Since it was cold, the meal kept me warm and I was able to enjoy every bite as it was also filling. I could come back for more! As promised I went back to Zaytoun Halal Grill to try it again and get a popular item, the combo over rice. I must say I'm glad I did. It was delicious! Both the lamb and chicken were very flavorful but if I had to choose one over the other it would've been the lamb. I will still opt for the combo but that information is just in case you wanted only one for yourself. The service was still great. The person at the cashier greeted me promptly, made small talk and even let me try the chipotle sauce. My only critique is when ordering the over rice plates you can add multiple sauces for drizzle but if you want it on the side it's $0.99!!!??? That makes no sense to me. Especially when you are probably using more sauce for the drizzle than what they but in the to-go 1oz cup. This is needs to change because what if you just don't want sauce all over your food. Nonetheless a three to a four star for sure, a five remains to be seen with other items and consistency in their popular dishes. read more

Zaytoun is a newer Halal restaurant in my area and when I was hit with the hunger bug around 12:30 am, this was the first place I thought of trying. I ordered the combo bowl (chicken and lamb) with a side pita. I'll start with the positives: - clean restaurant & kitchen - great customer service - the lamb was well seasoned - good amount of food - white sauce was better than most places I've ever tried Negatives: - wait time was 15-20 mins and it wasn't busy - food wasn't hot, it was warm at best - fries could've been left out. Tasted like frozen ones you get from the store. Would I visit again during a late night, yes. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because they deserve a 3.5. Would recommend trying a lamb gyro because when I placed the salad and lamb within in my pita, it was good! read more

Zaytoun Halal is a relatively new addition to the area and while the environment is fairly no frills, it offers reliable Halal food offerings and gyro wraps and platters. Everything appears very fresh and the prices are affordable. I would probably recommend it over the nearby Shah's Halal. read more

Ordered takeout from here since it is close to work and ended up liking both platter and gyro options. Well seasoned and the portion size is good. Location is well kept and clean. Friendly staff that genuinely care as they were very attentive to the customers that were in the restaurant while I was waiting for the order. You can tell they take pride in the cleanliness and quality of presentation. I've been looking forward to this opening, so while I didn't get to be their first customer I definitely visited on the first day. The owners specialize in Mediterranean style dishes, but they go beyond that. Lots of kebab and gyros, but also burgers, philly cheese steaks, and wings. Food - 4.5 service and ambiance - take out Got a rice platter which has chicken and gyro. Really yummy and good balance of flavors. I subbed the fries for salad. It's a chopped tomato cucumber salad. Everything was flavored really well. Doesn't really need extra sauce as it is pretty saucy (maybe a little too much) as is. First time ordering from this place and unfortunately was pretty disappointed. I don't really understand the 4.8 rating.. The food I received was not nearly as great as stated in those who tried the same item. I was excited to try their lamb platter, but was left quite disappointed. What I received was not lamb, but something dreadful made out of something ground cubed and cooked, pretty salty too. My guess is gyro meat, but not quite sure. Perfect for a late night munch! My boyfriend and I found this place by chance. We were out past 10pm, with everything almost closed this place caught our eye. Don't get tricked by the GPS the place is behind the gas station. The place is rather small, a good in and out the door kind of establishment. You can order up on the counter with a self-ordering kiosk which is convenient. My boyfriend and I got the Lamb over Fries and Chicken gyro. Hands down the protein over fries was the best choice. The yellow sauce drizzled over the fries is mouth watering, you may want to ask for some on the side. The chicken gyro was alright. Zaytoun Halal Grill While browsing Instagram, like most of us do, I came across a reel for Zaytoun Halal Grill. So what do any foodie who has Instagram do, I created a a place for saved food spots and added them to it for a later date. Well last night (1/31/2025), I finally decided to try them out with my friend. We were out and about taking care of some business. After we finished, I suggested either Cava or Zaytoun. I showed her their real and she said "that's our answer!". LOL! As we arrived at the restaurant, we noticed the brightness of the restaurant, which is very welcoming. The only drawback is the parking lot is small since the restaurant is in a small corner next to a Mobil/Exxon (I think). We walked in and was greeted by the manager. He is very nice and has a sense of humor. We ordered two combo over rice platters,6 Mango Habanero wings, and onion rings. The food was delicious and fresh. The sauces enhanced the platters but seriously, they're good even without them. The fries were good and held up after cooling off. The onion rings were definitely good too. As a connoisseur of onion rings (lol), these were some really good onion rings. The wings were delicious too. This was some of the most delicious halal meat and rice I've ever had; we've been trying as many as we can lately. When the chicken is almost red you know it's going to be good. The rice was a surprise treat as well, similar to kabob palace rice. The falafel here were excellent, and the portions of food in the falafel lover's combo were incredible--enough for two meals. I like that the combo came with rice and salad for a well balanced meal. (Note: their spicy sauce is no joke--it's hot.) It will take a few minutes to get your food, so be prepared to wait 10 minutes or so. It's worth it!
