Truly fantastic experience here at India's Flame. They've updated their dining room so it looks very clean and modern. The service is immaculate, the employees are extremely attentive to the guests. We arrived at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly and served waters. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Booths along the wall and tables in the center. A Bar with 4 chairs was set up nicely. The buffet is set up along one wall. We had hoped to try their buffet but discovered that the buffet was only served until 2:30. My wife ordered the Butter Chicken and I ordered the Goat Curry. We added the Garlic Naan. Our orders came out promptly. We were both very happy with our meal. The spice level was right and the food tasted very good. The Goat Curry was very good but you have to contend with a lot of bones making it messy to eat. A great place for Indian food. My favorite Indian restaurant is in Glendale and because I live in Mesa, I don't get to go very often. Since moving to the east side I haven't been able to get really great Indian food. Tonight, we tried India's Flame and I am seriously regretting not ordering more!!! The food was wildly good!!! I ordered the Tiki Masala and Naan with rice. The portions were generous and the one meal was enough to split with my husband. I didn't go inside because my husband picked up the food but he said the inside was really clean and nice and it was pretty packed. This place is vegetarian-friendly and the food is so flavorful. The staff is prompt with their service and know how to manage peak customer times. My go-to order is Vegetable Korma with Garlic Naan. That being said, there is a relatively small selection of items available, and a lot of the items feel greasier but also blander than other places I've visited. Things just felt like they needed a bit more seasoning, and I would have loved extras like dressings for salads. Service is also a bit slow, but the workers do their best to get the job done. The food was incredible! I went with my mother and we both couldn't stop talking about how delectable all of the different curries in the buffet and the naan were. Plus, it was about $15 per person for all you can eat which is a great price for excellent food compared to a $7 coffee. On top of that, the place was so clean and aesthetically pleasing. This place is for hipsters. Yeah clean and balanced, yap yep zap. To me it's just full of crabs and lean meats, and yes if you are a vegetarian, this place can be good. But nothing to me is that flavorful, except maybe grilled chicken. Will not come back for sure, there are a couple other Indian lunch buffets that offer stuff that has more flavors. If you are on a diet and feels like you need a cheat meal and not mess you up too much, this lunch buffet can be an option, other than that, meh. read more

The chicken was great and my husband enjoyed the lamb. The cheese naan wasn't as cheesy as I thought it'd be, I had to take a couple bites and look at it before I realized it was the cheese naan! Fish tikka curry was yummy and great for dipping but the fish was dry. Paratha just ok. Chicken biryani was good but slightly too spicy for me! Literally I was just salivating at thinking about the wonderful food options they have for a really good Sunday lunch. For only $14.99, you get so much. Many meat and vegetarian options. We'd never had Indian food before, so we thought we'd give this restaurant a try. It was FABULOUS! India's Flame is comfortable, modern, and very clean. The server took time to explain the dishes to us and answer our questions. We had samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken, lamb pasanda nawabi, and mango ice cream. The meats were tender and juicy, the naan was soft and flavorful and even more delicious when you use it to scoop up the sauces, and the mango ice cream was a great way to end the meal. When I say this place is BOMB, that is the understatement of the year. We came here 3 months ago and I still think about the meal I had. As I was there, a party of two spoiled ASU kids were being racist, loud and obnoxious to a server, asking him to "do the accent", while another party of 8 sat down within 10 minutes of closing. Both servers on the floor acted in the most respectful manner, genuinely appreciative of their guests, who, by all accounts, were objectively terrible. I don't know how I never tried India's Flame before the other night, but they were open later on a Sunday evening and I had a hankering for Indian food. They definitely did not disappoint! I ordered the Dal Tadka, my partner got the chicken biryani and we shared garlic naan. My partner felt it was some of the best biryani he'd ever had, and I thought the Dal Tadka was to die for. The spice level we both ordered was medium- which was perfect. The naan came with Raita and it was... amazing. I work right next to this restaurant and had heard people talk highly about it so I was excited to try it. We ordered the Chili Paneer, Butter Naan, Paneer Tikka Masala and Kadhai Paneer (a lot of paneer I know lol). The food arrived nicely packaged and hot. Chili Paneer: Fresh paneer, lightly coated and batter fried in an Indo Chinese sauce. The paneer was tasty and milky, the sauce was balanced but I would have liked more sauce or maybe a stronger flavor. Would definitely order again though. Paneer Tikka Masala: The gravy was nice and thick, and not overly sweet which I really appreciated. The paneer was a little chewy. Would order again Paneer Kadhai: The paneer itself was fresh and soft. The gravy was gorgeously thick and had a good amount of onion as it should. Enjoyed this immensely. Would definitely order again! Butter Naan: The naan was good, a little on the thick side but we didn't mind that as it wasn't undercooked or doughy.
