SLOWEST drive thru EVER. I just wasted 45 mins in this line. Still not even to the pickup window.

This is the worst in n out location I've been to. The food did not hit at all. I was so sad by every part of my meal. Dr Pepper watery, fries so over done they were dry as crackers, and burger missing ingredients. Go to the other location and do yourself a favor. read more

Something I've dreaded but never really believed could happen has happened at In-N-Out during my previous two visits (at this location and another nearby): the decline of quality and service from the Golden State's franchise staple. Any California-loving burger eater knows that In-N-Out consistently churns out great food and good service to boot, but it was not present here last weekend. Look, I know it's hard that Coachella was happening and unfortunately not everyone could make it there. We've all dealt with the grief of not being able to party ourselves out in the desert with thousands of people, but please, don't take it out on everyone else. We're in the same boat. We want to combat the sorrows by having a fine, inexpensive burger combo. Yet those who flocked here that evening were punished with terribly prepared food and a near-lack of service. The cheeseburger I ordered had virtually no lettuce; negligible, if any. The fries were under/overcooked to a sogginess I can't validate. Both of these things negated the "fresh-cooked" quality of the brand. And when picking up my order at the counter and waiting a few minutes for someone to notice I was standing there to ask for spread, helpfulness and smiles were absent. Talk about putting a damper on a meal. I'm hoping this is a temporary setback and things will return to normal, the way I've experienced at this location (and In-N-Out in general) in the past. I usually don't write reviews for chain restaurants but this was the first place my friends and I stopped at when we arrived in Temecula and the employees were so friendly and pleasant that I felt like I had to share that! Also, my double-double cheeseburger with grilled onions was perfectly made with an amazing toast on the burger (probably the best toasted burger in all locations I've had). Fries were on-point, cut beautifully and not soggy at all like some other locations. The only thing was that my friend was charged for a drink when she didn't order one and given a drink cup which she was too nice to dispute hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The dirtiest In and Out I have ever been in. Staff is lazy. I mentioned the napkin dispensers were empty and if I could get my table wiped. They sent a girl out, I mentioned again to her that the dispensers were empty, I assume homeless people take them for Butt wipe. Anyhow she said "uhm ok" and never filled them. Food here was awful. The bun was hard and the fries were over cooked after asking for them to be half cooked. The fries we received were like cardboard once my wife arrived home. They were so overcooked that there's nothing left on the inside of the fries. When you bite into it you can see an empty space inside. read more

Naturally the Drive Thru line was lengthy to say the least (not expected with dining room open for take out orders). If you order anything special be prepared to double check your order. I ordered my Double Double without onions and pickles added (they accomplished that but it wasn't cooked evenly, rare in some places and well done in others ). I ordered Ketchup and Spread on the side (Didn't receive either). French Fries Well Done (not only were they not well done it looked like I got the end of the basket, most of them were not more than 2" long ). Finally 1/2 cup of ice is not Light Ice. This In-N-Out was very clean and organized. They staff was incredibly helpful. The one strange thing was that the regular fries tasted very different than the usual In-N-Out fries. Recently did a "quick" drive through for family dinner and was super impressed by how nice every employee's attitude was during our visit. From the person standing outside in the heat taking orders to the cashier and the person handing out the food, you could tell they had a smile behind their masks and were truly happy to have our business. I asked the person at the window to please let the manager know how awesome they were doing and I hope he did. When you are in Cali it a must to go to In and Out Burger. So we did. Now I got tips from a local on how to order. So pay attention cause this here is gold! 1st. When ordering your burgers order by the numbers. The number of patties then the number of cheeses. Example: my order is a tripple double. 3 patties 2 cheeses. The max is a 4x4. 2nd. Id you want everything on it like grilled onions and stuff order it animal style. What I have given you is not necessarily on the menu. That's it, that's enough I've said to much. The milkshake was perfect. Great taste. Thick enough to require a strong pull but not to thick where you get lightheaded. As for the fries...well nobody's perfect. You seriously can't go wrong with most In-N-Out's but this one is the oldest one in Temecula. Its still great service and food don't get me wrong. It doesn't get as crowded as the other ones I feel because it is old and not the best location. This location is much more popular for a lunch crowd which is why coming here at dinner time is awesome for us to avoid waiting in line. When you order to-go, ask for your food in a box with a lid. In and Out please have your workers that are standing outside taking orders keep their damn necks out of my car window when I'm ordering. This review is based on the actual location. Located off the 15 Freeway in Temecula CA. I've stopped at this In-N-Out a few times on the way back to Las Vegas. My usual is a 2 or 3 Flying Dutchman's. This is just 2 patties and 2 pieces of cheese. 3 Flying Dutchman's is a total of 6 patties and 6 pieces of cheese. Sounds gross, but it's actually pretty good. My main reason for eating this is simply the protein content. About 90 grams of protein in one sitting is perfect, especially since I know I won't be feeding for another 5 hours. Other items on the menu that I've tried here: -Double Double: Usually have it with just spread only, bun extra toasted. -Neapolitan Shake: -Animal Fries: Fries, grilled onions, cheese, and spread. Food is always great. "Tyler" an employee here, had a large hole in his glove while handling food. I informed the cashier and she informed him of the hole. He said "yeah, so? I know" (something along those lines). Until I walked away, he continued to prepare food with the hole in his glove. The cashier again told him about the hole and that a customer is the one who noticed. He finally went to change his glove after the second time of being told. Working in fast food, I know you have to take a food safety and regulations class and having an open hole exposing your skin to customers food is unsanitary. Again, food is great, but maybe the staff preparing food should go through another sanitary class or something. Update; I posted this the second I sat down, before I even got my food. About halfway through our meal, (I'm assuming the manager saw this because) Tyler came out to apologize for not caring about being unsanitary and offered a free milkshake. Stopped by to grab a quick bite on my way to my house that I own. Btw tired coming off a 24 hr shift of watch; I commute out of San Diego serving the country. Decided I wanted to just eat in the car really quick cause I'm in work gear. It's veterans weekend just wanted to eat in peace. I parked and got out to wash my hands and as soon as I come in I'm being told I can't use the restroom but the men's is open if I wanted to. Mind you it's about 4 men going inside at the time of her blocking the door and telling me this...I'm not a man and don't portray to be one. The fact that I was racially profiled coming here is outstanding. I waited for a few just to see but then decided to go back out to my car to get my food cause I didn't want it to get cold. Waited a little bit longer still they have someone blocking the restroom. Now I'm beyond disgusted I stop eating my food, toss it in the trash and head back to my car. As I'm heading out there's a guy coming outside with a plunger laughing looks at me and sprays something from a bottle on it shakes it off then goes back inside. Idk what the end game was here. Today the moron at the drive thru window was not wearing gloves of any kind, in the middle of this Covid19 Pademic. When I asked him where his gloves were, he said they were not required. That's funny, as every other drive through or take out place in this town is practicing this right now. He's handing stuff to folks in cars who are also not gloved. He had an attitude on top of this.
