Stopped by one of the In N Out's here in Austin around 6 to 7 PM on a Tuesday and was honestly impressed by how smooth everything was. Even with about a dozen cars ahead of me, the drive thru took less than ten minutes, which anyone who eats at In N Out knows is moving fast. The food came out hot and fresh, exactly how it should be. Everything tasted great and was consistent with what you expect from In N Out. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and upbeat, which always makes the experience better. The person at the window was especially kind, which was a nice touch after a long day. This location delivers exactly what you want from In N Out. Quick service, great food, and friendly staff. A few of us were in a class from 9:00am-5:00pm nearby on Airport Blvd., and we wanted a restaurant where we could get a quick lunch and be back within a hour. Hence, In-N-Out! I ordered the basic cheeseburger, and it was ready within 5 minutes, despite the growing lunch crowd. The cheeseburger, which I ordered bun less, was served in a paper envelope. They gave me enough lettuce to wrap around the burger. It was yummy with fresh ingredients...and the price is right! The most surprising element of the In-N-Out experience is the server coming to the table to check on us and find out if everything was to our liking. it gave the impression of a 5-star restaurant! I came to this I came to this location last week with Thing Two and her friend. This was my first time at this location. For the area, the parking lot is smaller than most parking lots for chains like this one. When there, a security guard can be seen roaming around the parking lot, which I assume that the guard is responsible for monitoring the parking lot to ensure that only guests of the restaurant are parking in the lot. As with most locations, the inside is very clean and as all orders are made to order, food does take some time to be made. The burgers themselves are not only aesthetically pleasing but they are fresh and have just the right amount of salt and pepper. The fresh cut french fries also have just the right amount of salt. Every single time I visit this location it is a win. I normally go for the double double with cheese no onions and a nice cup of sugar-free lemonade. May have recently removed the lemonade sugar-free. But I never go wrong with ordering a burger from here when I am on the go or need to get something in my system, fresh and fast. The staff is always kind and accommodating. This last visit I changed my double double to a lettuce wrap, which I normally get. I've only had a handful of experiences with In and Out, and they were on a trip to California is a couple years ago. This place was my first stop when I arrived in Austin-- but I didn't have the same experience here. The staff was very welcoming, which was similar. They didn't have an extremely long line, which was the opposite. The food was okay, however, the burger wasn't as good here as California, and the fries here were much better. Definitely feels like the staff are super busy here. They seem less frazzled compared to other fast food places like McDonalds, but overall I feel like all fast food places at night are really busy. After close to 700 reviews there's probably not a lot more that I could say that hasn't already been said. Well for starters, I will include some photos that other Yelpers have not included. I would say that even after being here for a few years this place is still quite clean and organized with a friendly staff. Some yelpers complain that the food is not up to par, but then what do you want for $10? If you're looking for a better burger, then go to Jewboy burgers just up the road and pay twice the price and wait twice as long. There's plenty of seating inside and a dozen tables outside. I do like the fact that they allow you to dispense your own ketchup as opposed to those hard to open packets. However, one thing they do Not do well here is the french fries. They are basically flavorless starch sticks. I really wish they would find a better supplier of this staple. Their shakes are also pretty average. They only have a single drive-through lane which is why I opt for parking in their very spacious lot and order inside. Keep in mind, at this location you'll definitely see some homeless encampment activity. So if you're looking for some cheap grub for 10 bucks, this is a good acceptable place to come. read more

In-n-out is always my go to fast food burger spot. Very reasonable prices, simple menu and quick service most of the time. Their fries to be honest are lackluster, you should probably order them well-done for a crispier taste. For some reason, in-n-out in Texas doesn't slap like California or Nevada locations hence a 4 star. read more

Lots of Texans like to rip on In n Out, but I think In n Out is the best ever. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. Service is flawless. The interior is spotless. No fast food chain gives me more faith in their quality of food and delivery than In n Out. We'll support them any day! The only downside (if any) is their small serving sizes. When we hit In n Out, it's for a small in-between meal or a snack because it's not enough to fill you up. I really don't understand the infatuation with a burger joint that is, well, just as good, if not less than the typical fast food joints. Seriously, I actually tried it for the first time years ago when on the numerous business trips in Silicon Valley, and I simply don't understand the rage. Now, seriously, I get it. My friend and I stopped by here after I picked her up at the airport late one night. We went through the drive thru, which was super quick and efficient and the staff was extremely friendly! One thing I found interesting was that they asked if I wanted to eat my food in my car, which I guess means they would give me a tray of food instead of a normal to-go bag. We ordered two cheeseburgers animal style and two sides of fries. The burgers were a little dry, but the amount of sauce they put on top made up for that completely. The real surprise was the fries. In-N-Out definitely has a reputation for having awful fries, but these were honestly not bad! Don't forget to ask for some peppers on the side, they're more like pickles than peppers. I really felt compelled to write this review because of the staff. This location will certainly get a 5 when the food prepared is consistently fresh and hot. The fries are often too salty or lukewarm. I've ordered their double patty with lettuce bun and their single cheeseburger, both hit the spot every time and at an affordable price. My favorite item is the strawberry shake. A bit of the old In-Out is what Barbi likes pretty often, but anyway. The great news is that these days you can get your burger and your fries animal style - which is pretty awesome. It used to be just the burger. It's a pretty amazing place to get fast food when you're in California, and now as they have expanded across the country, they have definitely gone down in quality. Still pretty good though compared to others. Still tastes more real than most. You gotta be better, the prisoners run the asylum at this joint, bunch of kids operating as a speed slowing than Joe Biden on a bicycle. I was "In" that line with no signs of getting "out", with the chick at the window getting my order completing wrong, then watching her tap the same back button on the screen for 6 minutes, laughing with the chick at the other window because they couldn't figure out a tablet. I assume it was the supervisor coming in to try and make sense of it, meanwhile I see my food freezing at the next window. After about 10 minutes and 47 seconds of being at the first window watching my food go cold, I get my receipt just to see she got my order wrong and up charged my 3 bucks.
