The smash burger was juicy and flavorful, made even better with their amazing garlic sauce. We shared The Philly cheesesteak was also a standout tender and well-seasoned, especially paired with the rosemary. Great spot if you're craving flavorful bites.

This night was full of surprises and a whole lot of feeling spoilt. The night atarted with this incredubky flavorful beef steak burger with caranalized onions, this homemade rosemary sauce housed in the most perfect bun. The second course was the philly cheesesteak. It had onions, jalapenos and more of that rosemary sauce topped with invredible cheese. Next came the putine fries toppped with cheese and vegan gravy. Literally every bite on all of those was incrediblt flavorful and all full of surprises. What I did not expect was the dessert blowing my mind the way it did. we had the funnel cake fries with chocolate chips and cheese cake bites topped with chicolate sauce ans vanilla icecream. I cnanot stress enough how amazing this entire meal was. The service was even better. We had the owner servinf us his proud crearions, showering us with so much love. 10/10 would refommend.

@milehighmosusa is a great local spot in Austin known for hearty comfort food, generous portions, and bold flavors. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, making it an easy choice for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Their menu focuses on classic favorites done right, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and satisfying portions. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak, buffalo chicken fingers, and the smash burger, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Philly cheesesteak was packed with tender, flavorful meat and melted cheese, while the buffalo chicken fingers were crispy, juicy, and perfectly coated with just the right amount of heat. The smash burger stood out with its crispy edges, juicy patty, and well-balanced toppings. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made to order. Mile High Mo's delivers solid comfort food that hits the spot, and it's definitely a place worth checking out if you're in Austin and craving something flavorful and satisfying.

If you're looking for a nice and filling philly cheesesteak near the UT Austin campus, I don't know who else is doing it better than Mile High Mo's. My partner and I came by right before we left Austin, and the owner was very inviting and so hospitable. For a central texas spot serving philly steaks, their sandwiches are honestly comparable to the genuine ones in philly. My only complaint is that their food comes out steaming hot, even the fries, and it takes forever for it to cool down- but again once it does, it's a meal that you'll never forget.

One of theeeeee best burgers I've ever had. The packaging was trash tho. I can't speak on the customer service because it was DD. But honey!!! That burger was PERFECT!!! And they're open late!!‍

We first saw mo's on IG when a foodie had posted about trying out the cheesesteaks in Austin. To be honest we haven't been super big on cheesesteaks, but the burgers they featured is what originally caught our eye. We also really liked the name and found out that they import their bread and meat steak from Philly and poutine for their fries from Quebec Canada which is super cool and also made us want to try the cheesesteaks and fries just because of that! We got the fully loaded Steak Philly (1/2 mile) which was about 6-7 inches and it was soooooo much better and more flavorful then the one we had when we were in philly! The seasonings that they use on the meat gives it such a greater depth of flavor! The burgers were also as expected... DELICIOUS!! We got the full mile on both, which meant we had 9oz of black angus beef (2 4.5oz patties). We tried the bacon bomber which was like a sweet and savory bacon egg burger and we also tried the cheese coma which had a katsu style cheese aka deep fried cheese on the burger. We we so impressed with the flavorings of the meat itself! You could literally taste the quality. The fries they have are some of THE BEST we've had! We really enjoy a crispy fry and these were double fried giving you that perfect texture! The portions that they give are very generous and they live up to the name that they go the extra mile with first class food! Plus we couldn't skip on dessert! The Texas tornado is exactly that.... A whirl wind of wonder that will twist the taste buds in every direction! Its basically funnel cake fries, topped with cheesecake bites, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. If you haven't checked them out, stop waiting and GO!!! They are 100000% worth the trip and the calories!

Went to a Yelp event at Mile high Mo's and we very much enjoyed it. We were able to try four different things. I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak and I loved the burger. I was not a fan of the deep fried cheese curds and our funnel cake dessert was an abbreviated version, and I'm guessing the full size would've been much better. Not a very big place and I heard it gets really busy on the weekends, because it's down by the UT campus. I will say parking is not easy to find and I would guess most of the students walk or take a scooter. The owner/chef was very friendly and you can tell he's really trying to serve quality food.

    Traditional Quebecois Poutine
    Kevin V.

The burger with cheese lettuce, pickles, and sauce was flavorful. The philly cheesesteak loaded with all the veggies was pretty good, but as a lover of traditional philly cheesesteak, I found the sauce to be a bit too much flavor. I would probably keep it simple next time I was there. The poutine was ok, but I've had much better. The cheese curds on the bottom were melted just right though. The gravy was a little salty but i would have finished it all if I hadn't been full from the previous dishes. I was pleasantly surprised when the funnel cake came out and it wasn't carnival style. The cake sticks were easy to eat by hand or fork. I picked them up by hand and used it to scoop the vanilla ice cream and chocolate. Sadly the ice cream did melt a bit fast though, possibly because it was a little warm in the restaurant. Overall this would be a place I would return to at night, if I had been out bar hopping and had the munchies. Very friendly staff too! Btw, parking can be a pain around this area, but here's a pro tip. Park for FREE in the front of the apartments around the corner on 29th St and Helphill Park. If it's dark when you pull up, make sure you don't park too close to the corner since there's a small strip of curb painted yellow.

I must admit, I was surprised! I usually don't like yellow cheese on my Philly, but this changed my mind. I ordered through UberEATS. It was so packed with flavor! I ordered the classic . I wish I would have had more mushrooms and peppers. I will definitely order again. !

    Amanda L.

I throughly enjoyed everything I got here. The lady working didn't speak english but was so sweet and seemed like she was the one cheffing it up too so mad respect bc everything was delectable. I got the smash burger with the mile high mo sauce, side of fries, onion rings and a philly cheesesteak. I enjoyed the light batter on the onion rings but I thought the fries were just a tad bit too salty. The mile high sauce wasn't my favorite, but it was very unique. Ordering system is easy with the Ipads in front with ketchup and togo boxes out as needed. Didn't see any water cups so maybe bring your own water! Could really see this place thriving with its location.

    poutine
    Rachel B.

The fries were solid--not salty and thick--but the gravy fell short of the rich, classic Poutine gravy flavor that I was hoping for, and the cheese curds lacked that signature squeak, leaving them more rubbery than fresh. I really enjoyed the Smashburger--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it was the standout of the meal. However, the Philly didn't taste at all like a classic Philly. Prices are okay and there is plenty of air-conditioned seating inside. We ordered at one of the 2 kiosks and an employee brought out our food as it was ready.

    Mighty Rings
    Edwyn A.

Love the style of their onion rings. They are lightly battered and crispy with nicely sweet onions. The batter is more of a fish and chips consistency which I prefer over the more breaded style you typically find. Even though I got these delivered, they were still tasty and I devoured the entire portion. I also got the cheesesteak. I regret omitting the jalapeños so I suggest adding that to give it a kick. Also the cheesesteak is kind of messy to eat with the melted cheese so I suggest eating it with a fork.

    Mighty Philly Customized Way
    Karen C.

When they say they will make it right, they do! Greeted by Q, the manager with the hugest smile. We had a previous bad experience that was not the fault we believe of the restaurant. The owner immediately reached out and wanted to make it right. NOT many places care enough to do this but they DO! Our meals were cooked perfectly! We both customized our sandwiches and they were perfect! And NOT to be missed is the oh so sweet funnel cake dessert. You must eat it there with the fresh ice cream. It's just the finishing touch. Be prepared to take to go boxes because you get large portions and you want to save for the next meal too.

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. We later saw Brian at another place. And I'll write about that in my review for that place as well. Brian, you're Doll, thank you for your hospitality.

The indoor is very beautiful and smells like cinnamon and apple (a scent that I love), especially going towards the bathrooms. Theres a bar section with plenty of seating and the room inside the restaurant is overall very spacious. I didn't see much of the indoor as I decided to sit outside in the patio. Although being during the Texas summer, the patio has plenty of (very powerful) fans! The view of the green belt next to the restaurant is amazing, and there is also an outdoor bar, which gives impeccable vibes. We ordered two starters and had plenty of food! My husband ordered the Barbacoa Stackers (slow roasted barbacoa, refried black beans, Jack cheese, JAK slaw, Cotija cheese) I personally loved them! The meat was tasty and juicy, the black beans were perfectly cooked and everything was so rich in flavor. Definitely a 10/10! I ordered the Homemade Buttermilk Biscuit, served with honey & seasonal fruit flavored butter (with a side of yummy bacon) Today they had strawberry flavor, and there was even strawberry jam. I have to be honest, THE BEST biscuits I've ever had in my life! And I love me some good biscuits! They were buttery and crumbly to the right point! The strawberry butter with the strawberry jam was the perfect combo! We were told the biscuits are made fresh every morning, and I love that! It was definitely a 1000/10! We also got some chips and salsa. Chips are very crunchy, and the salsa is spicy to the right point! Now I'm building my tolerance with the spicy and this salsa was really yummy, and can build up the spice! The waiter who served it to us, brought it over in a small mason jar and emptied it in the little container for our table, which was something I've never seen done like this. Definitely appreciated it! Makes me think they make their own salsa (forgot to check on that!) They also gave us a complimentary pita bread with pimento, and it was delicious! The pita bread was very crunchy and salty to the right point! They even gifted me a portion of peach and strawberry cobbler, topped with ice cream, for my birthday and it was insane! The flavor was perfectly sweet and mixed with the ice cream was very refreshing and still warm and melting in my mouth! Probably one of the best cobblers I've ever had! And keep in mind, we got here that we weren't feeling super hungry, and yet we were able to appreciate every single bite cause it was so good!! Last but not least - Ali, our server, was incredible! She was so nice throughout the whole dining experience and made sure we had everything we needed. She was so kind to ask if I could add peach puree to my freshly squeezed lemonade (which is a 10/10), and even made sure I had plenty of strawberry butter for my biscuits. We definitely took some leftovers home and I can't wait to have the remaining biscuit in the morning!
