    Cheeseburger, fries and soft drink

Burger was fresh, hot and tasty. Lots of ingredients and toppings. The fries were good too.

Fats food joints usually get a bad wrap on review sites but I really liked this 5 guys. They were really quick with our food, lace was clear, we were in and out in no time

One mighty fine cheeseburger "all the way" and grilled jalapeños.

I haven't been to 5 guys since I lived in DC.....Still so mighty fine.... and this 5 guys has got a stellar team behind the counter!

The soda machine malfunctioned and sprayed red dye mixture all over me from head to toe. Stained my new white nikes, shorts, shirt, and vest. When I went to the manager to the employees to resolve the issue, they started laughing. I then ask for the manager and they wouldn't get her. I wanted until she finally came out. She offered me a rag and nothing else. No "sorry" no nothing. Ontop of that the burger was mid.

    Burgers delivered with no meat???

Ordered delivery tonight. Burgers came with no meat or cheese. How? Like, how? Tried calling the store - not accepting calls. Sad.

Proof of purchase and lack of fries. I'd call that a medium at best and definitely not worth almost $8!

Wow, very surprised at the big reduction in fries that a large order now gets you. You'd think with potatoes still being cheap and abundant that $7.39 for an order of fries would be more, like it was pre-pandemic! I think P-Terry's would have been a much better bet tonight. The burgers are ok, but nothing special and the prices have skyrocketed!!! 2 burgers and 1 order of fries at 5-guys now comes in at a staggering $31.47! Disgraceful. Learned my lesson to just wait in line next time across the street!

    Dinner with the family!

Decent food but way overpriced for what you get. I prefer both In N Out and PTerrys to Five Guys

Solid food, just find it kind of hard to justify the cost when there is p-terrys next door, Whataburger close by, in n out, and mighty fine.

A place like Five Guys is a fast food joint with restaurant prices--Culver's is more like a restaurant with fast food prices and vibe, not really a diner. In the fast food burger competition Austin is fortunate to have most of the contenders within the city: In-N-Out, Shake Shack, Five Guys, and Whataburger and even P.Terry's (an Austin local). I draw the line at McDonald's--Ray Kroc's ghost still haunts the place that put all the good mom-and-pop burger stands out of business, even the original McDonald's in California! Culver's 'double deluxe' is a smash burger dressed in the usual way, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. After much debate internal, and a lifetime of burgerology--my first solid food was a burger at Goff's in Dallas--I would give the prize to Culver's. Anthony Bourdain favored In-N-Out FWIW, but I think Culver's is better. Apart from the quality of their burger Culver's also has the best fish sandwich among fast food places: not just the usual chumburger with cheese, but fried cod. If you tell Culver's to hold the cheese and tartar sauce and add mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, you could almost make it a fast food po-boy. I know it's unbelievable, but it's lightyears beyond the usual plywood-like fish sandwich, which is the industry standard. While we're here Culver's has a much more extensive menu than any other fast food joint, and serves some nice frozen custard, although I'm not into sweets. Their mac and cheese is as good as any I've had in a restaurant. RECOMMENDED

The lovely woman who helped us during our last visit also gave Zoloft a pup cup, so they've consistently shown kindness to our little family. They even gave complimentary vegan cookies to guests when we arrived (not sure if it was a special promotion, but such a thoughtful touch!). And the ice cream... WOW. Made with lentils, and honestly some of the best ice cream we've ever had--rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Friendly staff, delicious food, thoughtful service, and creative plant-based treats. But the staff handled it really well. They were fast, apologetic, and refreshingly colloquial, not stiff or robotic, just real people taking care of customers and keeping things moving. Since fried chicken was off the table, I went with the grilled chicken, and honestly it was excellent. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and flavorful enough that it did not feel like a consolation prize. Maybe this was the universe giving my cholesterol a temporary reprieve. The collards were just okay and not the strongest part of the meal, but everything else made up for it. The restaurant itself was super clean, and you could tell this newer location is well cared for. At about two years old, it still felt sharp, polished, and well run. I've been to several Hattie B's locations over the years, including the original in Nashville, Franklin, and Atlanta, where I once saw a woman riding a horse down the street in front of the store, which remains one of the more unforgettable restaurant-adjacent moments of my life. Austin compared well with all of them. Bonus points, there was no line, so we had a quick lunch with coworkers and still made it to the airport early.
