So I'm going to say that this location has been consistently good. Sometimes there's variances in cooking amount and seasoning amounts, but unfortunately it seems like no Wingstop has truly got that down yet. However, of the 3 Wingstop locations in South Austin that I've regularly rotated between, this one is the best and thus gets 5 stars. They've got a Coke Freestyle machine which is a huge plus for me. I love self-serve soda and I like flavoring soda even more. It's not perfect, and they certainly weren't the best the one time I complained (long but silly story there), but otherwise this location has been worth it. read more

Someone give Wingstop an award for best and smoothest flow for picking up your order in this pandemic! Ordering online is the way to go as you can customize any item(s) you want and for me that is a super cool thing as I don't like too much seasoning on my french fries. Sorry not sorry I just want easy seasoning sometimes! You can select Pay at Store so you don't have to put your card online (if you are into that sort of thing). Minimal contact when you pay in the store as the staff only grab your card from you and hand sanitizer is right at the counter. Arrive when your order is ready for pick-up and walk in. There are clear signs to wear your mask while inside and signs letting you know where to go if you need to order, pick up an order, or speak to someone about your order. Last time we went there are glass paneling all over the counter and tables set up on the left side for staging of food and drinks. When you come in you just walk in and grab your things at the table. They do make your drinks now (whereas before you could go up to the self-serve soda machine to make your own) and have it ready for you. Grab your things and head on out! Super easy and super reliable. We have always had fantastic service, food, and now no contact service which is supreme in my opinion in these COVID days. read more

I know that everyone has their wing preferences, but Wingstop is like my OG wing place. I didn't really eat chicken wings until I started to go to a Wingstop over ten years ago. When we were in the area, we stopped in here. This was my second time eating at this location. I wish they had more lighting in the parking lot. It is very dark in the parking lot unless you get lucky and find a spot right in front. This place gets super busy. On our first visit, we walked right up and ordered. Last night, both registers were being used for phone in orders. There was a NFL game playing. I have to say despite the place getting busy, the workers were friendly. They have the Coke freestyle machine here as opposed to other locations where the fountain drinks are behind the counter. You can get your own drink here! It's the little things, right?! The food came out and we were happy! It was so good. I ordered three original hot and three garlic parmesan. Fries were delicious! Thank you for filling our bellies with some great food! read more

Began ordering online but when it was time to pick drinks couldn't choose pink lemonade. No worries I'll just call after work. After work I called around 4pm. Didn't get the woman's name but she told me to put in the order online then call back and let them know what I want. I thought why wouldn't she just take the order but OK. Did as I was told. Again, the lady was curt bordering on rude but she said OK. Delivery was don't by door dash. AWESOME! They were on time and friendly. Unpacking the food I noticed the size of the mac. This is an unprofessional establishment with which I will be pursuing legal action. They stole $30 from me on a double charge, insisted the charge wouldn't go through--it did. I called repeatedly over the course of several weeks, assured I would be contacted by a manager and have the funds returned. I have not been contacted once. I will be filing a BBB complaint and pursuing legal action. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and appalling. Don't expect them to stay open long! read more

I don't eat wings often, but Wing Stop definitely has good ones. Not to mention, free Yelp checkin fries for the win. My kid's favorite lunch is on Mondays/Tuesdays when they offer $0.60 cent boneless wings. Him and his friends appreciate the finger lickin' treat. The fries are tasty, crunchy, not too soft. The downfall is the location. The parking lot is sketchy and there is always homeless hanging around. It creeps me out, but the staff is pretty nice and the food is usually ready in the time they say it will be. I didn't like this Wingstop location. They're in a strip center that's seen its better days in a neighborhood that has, too. I didn't phone ahead for my to go order, so I had to wait through the whole ordeal. The restaurant was hot and I think they had the front door open hoping to cool the place. It's just that chicken wings are not cheap at these places, and their location and atmosphere weren't appealing at all. I ordered Atomic, and they taste-tested me, even though I'd had them before at another store. It was what I expected. Ordered pick up here for the first time, and it was so good! We've been looking for a quick and easy wing place and wing stop by far is the best! They have several different options for wing choices....flavors, wing types, dipping sauces, and drinks! The fries are to die for, I loved them! The wings weren't overcooked or under-sauced, just right. I walked in and the employee read me my order and got it to me, along with my cups so I could get my drinks to go. My husband was craving wings last night and because we were in the neighborhood we decided on Wingstop. We went in with masks on and quickly placed our order. We were told to wait in our car and come back in 18 minutes. There were several different cars in the lot with folks waiting on their orders. After waiting 18 minutes we went inside and picked up our bags of food and drinks. Once we got home, we unpacked our wings, fries and veggies. I was extremely surprised at how nicely packaged everything was. They took their time placing the contents into the bag vs. just throwing it in the way some places do. Wingstop - William Cannon (Austin, Tx). This a reasonably decent facility and the only one near my home. I order food from this place about twice a month. The crowd is heavy on Fridays and Saturdays, so avoid them as I do please. However, I must speak on the frequency of times I've called to place an order (during off peak days/times) only to be placed on hold for nearly 15 minutes. This is outright wrong. I can (and have) driven 12-miles to the facility - while still on hold and showed them my phone with an active, on hold call with Wingstop. When asked about the wait, the response is "there are new people here", "we didn't know", or "we're short today". If these are the excuses on off-peak days/times, I can only imagine the service and excuses on Fridays/Saturdays. Guys you've got to fo better; don't let this terrible service continue to be the norm. read more

I saw a billboard advertising "Gliders" recently and decided I had to try them. Sounded interesting. Catchy play on words with sliders, right? Yeah that's what I was expecting. These are definitely not slider size though! They were more like the size of a regular McDonald's Hambuger. Shame on me for ordering four of them expecting slider size buffalo chicken sandwiches. So I ate 2 and took 2 home wishing the whole time I had just ordered the wings. These things take about 10 more minutes to make than the wings and really aren't anything special. I ordered the hot flavor, but on a bun it just loses something. It was pretty dry to me. Maybe it's the bread? I've had excellent buffalo chicken sandwiches before.
