Holly is a sweet person and takes her time. I really enjoyed my first visit here for a pedi, and she did a great job.

Went in today, as a walk-in, for a gel manicure and a pedicure and left with said services and a brow and lip wax. Pedicure was amazing! The waxing (my first time) was exactly what I had imagined it to be. It was in a small yet cozy two bed room. Overall my experience today was great! But, the one star knock off is because the lady who did my gel manicure nicked my cuticles quite a bit and she dug under my thumb nail trying to get the previous polish from under my nail and now it's really tender (even as I'm typing this). Also, she was rushing through because her next appointment came in early and the color could have used another coat. I have been coming here for about a year now and this is probably my first "bad" experience. So, that's saying a lot. Still a fantastic place! Probably better to just do appointments. read more

Went in as a walk-in yesterday for a mani pedi which I didn't mind waiting 30min for since I was desperate to get it done. My pedi was done by Holly who did a really fantastic job. I unfortunately had Amanda do my mani which was terrible. She cut me with the nippers and didn't even apologize about it as it was bleeding. 3 of my fingers are sore and red today from her aggressive over cutting. Even after that I thought I'll still give her a chance but she proceeded to paint my nails like a child, and to make it worse she didn't even clean up the blood. She was literally painting my nails with blood all over it. I ended up telling her to take the polish off since I could do a better job painting at home. She couldn't even take the polish off right and someone else had to finish it. I was obviously unhappy with her service and expressed it to them. I still paid the $14 for the damn manicure. I will not be giving them my business again & if you end up going just make sure your not stuck with the butcher Amanda. read more

Came in today for a pedicure without an appointment and was glad they were able to get me in. The place was empty but I still had to wait for an available nail technician. The polish used here is OPI and other brands I've never heard of before. I decided to go for one of the organic colors they have advertised when you first come in which I ended up liking a lot! As I was sitting there I saw a few customers turned away or given long wait times and I was happy to not be them. The woman doing my pedicure was good.... but in my opinion the service was over priced. $35 for the level up from basic and $7 for callous remover. For $42 I hope to get an amazing leg and foot massage not one that is just OK while answering phone calls until the 10 minute timer runs out. I like the convenience of this place because it's close to home and it is also clean! Prices aren't advertised, charge for credit cards and no tip for services on card. I'm excited to say after living in IB for over a year, I finally found the best nail salon in the area. Today Connie gave me the most amazing Pedicure & Manicure. She was simply lovely & made my experience so enjoyable. I had the Pedicure that included essential oils, an orange scrub, mask, massage, etc. Connie was so efficient & gentle, being extra careful not to hurt me as I'm recovering from 2 broken ankles. She helped me pick out beautiful nail colors that suited me and even had me test them out first. The salon's decor is very inviting & the atmosphere is relaxing as well as spotlessly clean. Went here today to get a manicure and pedicure. From the start the lady was extremely rude to me. I asked for warmer water, she rolled her eyes and seemed very frustrated. After she had started on my feet, I noticed she cut my toe to where it was bleeding. I waited to see if she would say anything, because it was noticeable. She acted like it didn't happen. So when she asked me to put my foot back in the water, I said I didn't feel comfortable because my foot was cut and I didn't want to risk infection (I am also 8 months pregnant and don't want to take any chances). Than across the store another lady told me I had to because of the solution they put on my feet. I asked if they could just rinse it off inside because again, my foot was cut. She rinsed it off, than proceeded to my other foot where she was scrubbing so hard from being mad that my foot has broke out in cuts and bumps. At the end of this, my friend and I go to pay. When it came to laying there was no where to place a tip because I used card. So I didn't tip, because of having my foot cut multiple time and for the fact there was no where to leave even a small tip. The woman, Connie, told my friend we needed to go to an atm and tip them. Demanding we tip them because that is what they work for. This place was horrid and I honestly hope I don't get an infection. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I gave imperial nails a second chance (almost a year later) and I felt the need to update my review... Kit reached out to me after reading my previous review and asked me to give him a try. I haven't had my nails done in a while and since my birthday is right around the corner, I thought I'd treat myself. I wanted to get a pedicure from him first before I tried a manicure. I'm picky when it comes to my nails... So I thought a pedi would be a perfect way to try him out. He is amazing! He gave me an aroma therapy spa treatment. I was excited about how this was starting because he started adding essential oils to my water. I've never had this before... Also, I'm very ticklish and he took notice and didn't scrub too hard, but still managed to make sure my feet were smooth. The best part of the whole experience was the massage! He was firm in places I needed it and gentle in other places. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! He spent a good amount of time on each part of my legs and feet, and I must say I really needed it with how soar my calves were from an intense exercise I did the day before. After the massage, he applied my polish neatly...And also used whatever essential oils he had left over and massaged my legs again for a brief couple of minutes. After we were through he charged me and gave me 50% off which wasn't necessary at all! I was expecting to pay even more than the menu price because went above and beyond! He's worth every $! I can't wait to come back and see him. I usually wear acrylic nails but I've taken a break from them for almost a year now. He's convinced me to try a gel manicure, and I'm excited to see how well he does that. Kit is truly amazing! I have been going to a nail salon down the street for the past four years. My nail tech went out of town without telling me, and I found out that nail tech would be gone for two entire months! So I try to couple of other nail techs at the old nail place, and figured out that nothing was really working for me. I was very frustrated when I walked in to Imperial nails. I was busy and so I had asked to make a late appointment and they gladly accommodated. Maye did my Manicure, and Anna did my pedicure. Both were extremely gentle, very much like a spa treatment, I didn't feel rushed, and it was an overall pleasant spa experience. It has been a long time since I have had my nails done that I didn't feel like they were extremely rushed and frankly risking my nail health just to get me out the door. But Anna and Maye took their time, even though I was the last appointment of the day, gave me extra massage treatments, were very friendly but not over friendly, and completely accommodating. I like this place. I'm just your plain ol' pedicure-once-every-two-weeks type of gal, nothing complicated. They always do a good job on my toes, so what more do I need? They recently went through another renovation and the prices went up, but I see no problem there. You can only tip in cash, they won't let you add a tip with your credit card. Also this place in located in the same shopping center as a vet clinic, pet store, and a grooming place, so be prepared to hear lots of random barking... you know, if that kinda thing bothers you. read more

This is my second time back here because I was very impressed with this place, the inside is very clean and nice, the decoration is a bit different from last time, I think they recently remodeled. Last time I came, Kit did my gel mani and he was very detailed and thorough because the polish stayed on for almost 3 weeks! I went in without an appointment and it was obvious I wasn't welcome....ten minutes after sitting there they asked me to come back in half an hour. No problem... I came back. The lady (Lan) was extremely rude. I asked for regular polish instead of $15 extra for gel. When she painted my nails she only applied the second coat to the middle of the nail so the sides are noticeably unfinished. She didn't even offer to put my nails under a dryer and she rolled her eyes when I politely took a card and asked her name. I absolutely LOVE this place! First and foremost, the quality of service is unparalleled. I get the Green Tea & Honey pedicure every time I go. It feels great, and my legs feel wonderful afterwards. IM SO UPSET. I got my nails done with my sister, she got gel nail polish and I got acrylics. I don't live there my sister does. They used MMA (a dangerous chemical that destroys the nail bed and makes them really hard to get off. Its banned in most states as well.) They didn't do a good job in the first I could still see my cuticles. And the lady who did them was SO RUDE. I would give them zeros stars if I could. read more

They do not have enough staff. Nearly impossible to walk in for any service. Called and made an appointment for a mani/pedi. Waited 20 minutes after appointment time for them to start my service. Purchased the $50 pedicure. Once my pedicure was done, I waited 5 or so mins and asked about my manicure. They had taken other clients and now could not do my manicure. At least 5 clients walked in during my pedicure and they weren't extremely friendly when telling them they have to come back hours later. Multiple people walked out to go elsewhere. Do not recommend based solely on staff and communication. read more

I came here today for the first time. One big thing is make sure you make an appointment. They are really busy at times. The facility is very clean and well kept. The people are very professional and ensure that you are well taken care of. If you are waiting they have very comfortable seats for you to wait at. The pedicures are reasonable priced. I got the $25 one and it came with a reflexology massage and the chair massage. From up they add aromatherapy which starts at $35. It isn't bad. Got my nails done on a Wednesday afternoon and by the next day less than 24 hours later, one of my nails was broken. And that's only one of my issues. When my nails were initially painted, the nail polish top coat must have been old or something because it started to crinkle without me even touching it. Really bad quality and expensive for a full set with no gel or anything. And I know you might be wondering if I did something strenuous or something to cause excess force on my broken nail, but nope. $25 for a pedicure! The highest quote I've received is $20. The only reason I got it done is because I had a wedding to attend and the original place I wanted to go to was booked. (My fault for last minute). But, I was like okay, it's clean, nice, I'll stay. The owner, I assume, was not very friendly. She made a motion to me and said "sit there", didn't even look at me and said it with a rude tone of voice. Glad she didn't do my pedicure... I had 2 colors I wanted to see on my toes- any other place, and I've been to quite a few- would have gladly shown me on my toes and take off the one I didn't want. The lady told me to try it on my fingernail and she'll take it off. I chose the one I wanted and she handed me the cotton to take it off. I removed the polish off of my nail and sat the cotton down on the towel laying on my lap (because I was wearing a dress). I put the cotton down on the towel it left a tiny smidge on the towel and the owner said something to her. She quickly grabbed the cotton and threw it away and then they all started talking amongst themselves. All I could think was, 'you said you were going to take it off, but yet you handed me the cotton and you weren't paying attention after that'. I noticed all the other customers were Caucasian and the owner knew them by name. I'm Hispanic and Caucasian, but you could definitely feel if you weren't a regular or Caucasian you wouldn't be treated as well as those who were... I will not be coming back because of the customer service, but pedicure was done well. But I can go elsewhere, pay a little less and get better customer service. read more

He does an amazing job every time, very patient and takes his time with every customer. He does the best french manicure! Very CLEAN and soothing atmosphere, I had a gel manicure and Sen package Pedicure total came to $65, must tip with cash tho , that's the only reason for one star, plus the fact that they don't put subtitles on the tv screens when they have the volume all the way down so that instead you can hear the soothing music which I love but subtitles in TV please ! They have a very pleasing selection of colors to choose from and they are a little more $ than the other nail shops in area but I must admit they seem like the nicest place, so you pay for what ya get! I had a pedicure done on Sunday. Just a simple pedicure with French tip. This was my first time here and I was in a hurry so I asked to not have any massage of my legs or feet just pedicure. I made the mistake of not asking how much it was going to be. The total for just pedicure was $28! Plus an Extra dollar for using my debit card. $28 for a pedicure is overpriced. I should have just gone to City Nails on 13th st it's $7 cheaper and for the same exact job. On top of high price, the very next day the paint was chipping from one of my toes.
