The discount had to be approved by a manager, which the nail techs had to call for while I was there, despite the salon previously messaging me on Instagram saying they would fix my nails. There was no clear communication beforehand that I would still be charged. Considering the gel began lifting in less than 1 hour, I expected the issue to be corrected at no cost. While the staff was polite, the way this situation was handled felt disappointing and did not reflect standing behind the quality of their work. What was most disappointing was the lack of transparency, when I was told it would be "fixed," it wasn't made clear there would be an additional charge (the full service again!) While the staff was polite, this experience did not reflect a business standing behind its work, especially as a returning client. Charging a percentage of a full service that was not redone felt inappropriate. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for a new salon.

Basically, it was done so sloppy and rushed. When she was done, didn't say a word, walked away and the lady who did the pedi took me to the front to pay. I should've known then something was wrong and should have checked my nails but I trusted them to do a good job. Mani/pedi gel, cost was $98, left $22 for tip. I guess if you want something done that is detailed, go somewhere else or find out who is good with doing detailed designs.
