So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back. So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return. read more

This place is good, the ladies are very nice and they do a really good job. However, is VERY expensive. I went for a pedicure, and on top of the pedicure price they charged me $20 for gel. I've gone to countless places and they always charge me $5-$10 for adding gel, I was floored to see it was $20. Also, this was not disclosed at the beginning of the service, if I would've known I wouldn't have gotten gel and just regular polish. I ended up paying around $80 for a basic pedicure with gel. 1/5 HORRIBLE . Honestly, I don't even know how this place has good reviews because my experience was HORRIBLE. They were so rushed and aggressive the entire time that I was literally made to bleed during my appointment. Getting your nails done should not feel like you're being attacked They were working insanely fast, with absolutely no patience or attention to detail. And somehow after rushing through the entire appointment, the final result was STILL terrible. My nails came out ridiculously thick, clumpy, uneven, and messy. They looked like they had way too much product slapped on them instead of being properly shaped and finished. The craziest part is that I paid for this. I could've done a better job myself with a bottle of polish and 20 minutes of YouTube tutorials. If you're going to rush through someone's appointment, at least make the nails look good afterward. Definitely not worth the money, and I would NOT recommend this place. I left with bleeding fingers AND ugly nails. That should honestly say enough. read more

I've been here twice and the service is a delight as it's high quality. The first time I went I got Gel-X and I really liked my nails! I don't have pics of that, but I went this past Mother's Day. Even though there was a wait, it was only 10 minutes and I think that's because everyone getting their nails done for the holiday. Recently, I got a gel-overlay (Gel builder in a bottle) on my nails. I'm trying to get my nail growth back and keep my cuticles healthy, as I'm a nail biter. Hannah did my nails and took her time as well as paid attention to all details of my nails. The place is nice and clean. My first appointment was okay. I got a gel x set with Hannah, she was very gentle and took her time. Unfortunately, her application wasn't very good as a couple of my nails popped off not even a full week later. I went in to get them repaired, and was told to wait then completely ignored afterwards. They took several different clients while I waited. And there were other technicians sitting, doing nothing whilst I waited. I would've happily returned had someone at least acknowledged how long I'd been sitting there. read more

I've been going to this nail place for approx 1-1.5 years and the prices always varied so I began noting them down. Last time I went a gel mani and pedi was around 83-85 dollars alittle on the high side but Jenny and holly did amazing work. I recently went back after a couple months since I moved out of the area. Holly did amazing. I believe Lee was doing my mani and did a bad job it took her an extra 30 minutes to fix my nails when she noticed me looking at them. When it came time to pay the total was 100 dollars. I asked how much did the price change by since my last visit. the older woman at the register told me it has never changed it's been same price. She charged me 34 for a basic pedi and 22 for getting gel on just my toes!! That's almost the same price as the pedi itself!! She than said it's 22 for gel on my hands and when I asked how much for the mani itself she kept saying 22! Some of the workers are very good but I would double check on the prices before agreeing. It can get busy so appt are recommended. Maybe they raised the prices when they upgraded the establishment. read more

I've never been here before but i just went today. It's a cute place and everyone was so nice. At the front desk, the boss offered some candy before me getting my nails done, it was nice of him. I got my nails done from this wonderful lady named Linh. She's actually the sweetest lady that's done my nails before. I hesitated in writing this review as I tend to just take my loss and leave it at that but this time I feel negatively affected way past than just the negative experience of the appt. Linh Le did not listen to my request of nail color but I thought it's gonna look good regardless, I might like her color and method so I didn't fight her on it. Then during the process she was aggressive and cut my skin when she filed off the previous gel color. I flinched various times and she noticed but did not adjust or try to be more careful. She even went as far as to say " You seem to have a cut, who did that ?" when she noticed one of the cuts was more noticeable. I was taken aback as to why she would ask me that and when I replied with " That was ealier when I flinched it was because you hurt me" and she said nothing. I should have stood up and walked out but like many of us when these things happen we are just too in shock to react. She cut down my nails but ended up cracking two of my nails. She tried to hide it but I saw. I thought it wasn't a big deal since it would be held together with the gel nail polish and I was just trying to make the best of the situation. My nails really burned with the cleaning liquids she used to try to stop the bleedings and everytime I put my feet back in the hot water I felt the many stings from the cuts . I thought I just had to take the pain and my skin would heal with time ( I'm not one to cause a scene or confront clearly ) . I payed and tipped and left hoping the healing would come quick and I could move past the experience but days later my nails still hurt and one is now infected. I am fustrated and saddened that the negative experience has yet to come to an end. read more

My husband and 6yr old daughter went for a mani/pedi for my daughter and pedicure for my husband for a daddy daughter date. I wasn't there and my husband doesn't know anything about this kind of thing. They clearly took advantage of him. They charged him $100 for his pedicure and only to have my daughter's nails and toes painted but they didn't do anything else for her. For my daughter, no massage, soaking, or anything claiming her feet didn't reach. They can and they do. I've taken her before to have the same services done elsewhere and even though she's little, she sits at the edge and they still had her soak her feet, give her a massage and do the whole service pretty much as if an adult including cleaning up her nails and trimming, but obviously slightly different since she's a kid. I paid around $35 for all of that at the other place I took her. I am extremely pissed and disappointed when my husband came home and told me how their experience went at this nail salon. I do NOT recommend this place and would never come back. FYI, I'll be having him dispute the charge because having him pay $100 for that BS is absolutely unacceptable and shame on Lux Spa for doing that. Don't ever come here with your kids. It will ruin their experience especially if it's a first. I read other reviews with the same type of experience. read more
