My usual spot is closed Monday's so I came to this thing . And one finger is pretty crooked . What I originally wanted was each nail painted a different color she wanted to charge me $4 extra. I didn't ask for no rhinestones , no design nothing... just paint it a Different color hell no I was not paying that. I am annoyed she set the timer for so little and went to go wax a lady and said "ok bye I'm going to go wax this lady" you work at a nail salon you know how long it takes for regular polish to dry . I get full sets pretty often and i've gone to many different salons and i've been looking for this green/sage color and i finally found the exact color here! Tiffany is very nice and works fast while making sure it looks perfect. I had my appointment at 1:15 and i was out before 2. Also the majority of salons i've been to have full sets alone starting at $40+, and for the set, gel, and coffin shape altogether was only $37 Probably the most satisfied i've been with my nails in a while. First things first, the quality when it comes to getting acrylic nails is very cheap. I even made the woman who I'm assuming was the manager redo my nails when it comes to length because I did not like it, I can see if she got upset, however this is money coming out of my pocket so I'm looking for quality. I got my nails done on April 28 and the next day my nail broke off on my pinky. For eight years I've always had fake nails and never had any of them broke off, due to the places that I usually go with better quality supplies. Today, i'm noticing the nail on my middle finger is now starting to come off... Nails: they are too fat when it comes to the acrylic powder and the shape is not very flattering through my eyes. This is considered average work. I highly recommend to not really go to this place if you're looking for some thing when it comes to care and quality. I was able to get a dipping powder removal and a gel mani as a walk in past 6 pm. Tiffany was the best cuticle remover ever!!! Best manicure ever :) Working in the medical field, washing hands a trillion times+hand sanitizer can cause cuticle nightmares!! She was very thorough with her job. Tiffany was very fast, yet gave me a very nice looking gel manicure. I do my laundry in the same strip mall that Pro Nails is located in. I was washing my clothes on Super Bowl Sunday & decided to walk over there to get a mani/pedi. The two gals in there were VERY welcoming & friendly, unlike most nail places where they can seem apathetic bordering on unfriendly. They told me it would be 30 minutes, I said that's fine, came back then & they took me right in. At this point the game was just starting & playing on the big screen tv they have up on the wall. My mani/pedi was great quality, my nail tech really took her time & did a good job. One of the customers sitting next to me & her nail gal & I were all joking about one of the players at one point. I was the last person in there & it was almost halftime at this point, & I didn't realize they were trying to get out of there & close up shop til I had about a minute left on my nail dryers. They in no way came across as impatient, or like they were trying to hurry me out of there. Right before I had the polish applied to my fingernails I even asked my gal if she minded if I ran over to fold my laundry real quick, it took 10 minutes & she didn't have any kind of attitude about it. Definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. I called to make sure they had time to do a full set with an anchor design. The lady who picked up the phone said she could do it and gave me a price and said she had enough time to do the set. I get there and I'm not greeted and just told to pick a color. I show the lady the type of anchor design I want and tell her I want white tips and just the ring finger to have the design. She says she can't do it and continues do put on my tips. I then ask if I can just do glitter tips instead but decide against it once I see the limited acrylic colors they have available. The thing that finally made me decide never to come back was how she didn't listen to what I wanted and went ahead and put the blue nail polish on all my nails instead of doing white tips like I had asked. She rushed painting them as well and then took my card, charged it then left to attend another customer, no lotion or cuticle oil offered. Worst experience I've had at a nail shop here. read more

Walked in today around 2pm (Sunday) and it was quiet. There was only 1 other lady in the salon when I arrived. Cindy did my gel pedicure. She was nice, pleasant and took her time. In fact, this was one of the longest times I can remember sitting and having a gel pedicure. The whole experience was nice. The salon was clean and the ladies working were very friendly. I was charged $31 for a gel pedicure and callous remover so definitely reasonable. They do take credit cards (this cash-only stuff is getting on my nerves). The only reason for 4 stars is besides Cindy scrubbing her best, I still have callouses on my heels. Guess I'll be pulling out the Ped-Egg! I will come back however! read more

They'll talk to each other across the chair you're in, make loud phone calls, and worst of all, talk about politics. If you are a girl, you know once you're a fan of a place its hard to go anywhere else....well my place was too far so I ended up here. ANYWAYS, I enjoyed it. They took me in 30 mins before they were closing and they were super sweet about it. The lady re shaped my nails for me and I loved it! I am always happy with the customer service and the quality of the work performed by the women here at Pro Nails. It's not the typical cattle herd nail place, but much more relaxed with more of a spa atmosphere. I usually get my nails done by Vivian and always have an appointment. I have been to many different nail places in Chula Vista, but with this quality, skill and price there is no reason to go any where else. I am a very happy customer! P.S. I read the other reviews and I don't know what a few women are writing about here. I am always greeted and yes, I am asked to pick out a color, but that is just normal operating procedure. So basically if you want to have a cheap terrible nail job go here. This place at face value is clean, massage chairs are new and nice, tools appear to come out of some form of sanitation equipment so....it basically ends there for anything remotely positive. The technician I had was very unfriendly and rough and didn't listen to anything I asked. I had gel nails and I get them done every 3 weeks. Went here because it didn't have terrible reviews. Big mistake! It took her over an hour to remove the gel that I had, which has never happened in my life. By the time she had started painting my nails she had basically rasped off the top half of my actual nail so they were super thin and she had used such a rough file there was no way the gel came out smooth. My manicure and pedicure both came out awful , just poorly done with no attention to detail. Missed spots, tons of extra gel under my nails and on the sides as well as paint on my actual fingers and toes. Don't go here unless you just want a cheap crappy pedicure and manicure. I would have rather paid more money for better service than wasted 2 hours of my life getting a terrible nail job. read more

I recently moved down to Chula vista and i was looking for a new nail salon which we all know is not easy. I was browsing yelp and found this salon. The reviews looked good so i decided to give it a try, plus the pricing was affordable. The first time i went i had told tiffany over the phone i wanted a manicure but i meant to say fill. She was very busy that Sunday but she still gave me what i needed even though i miscommunicated what i had wanted. She rushed a bit but i understood why and she still made me feel at home. My next appointment i made sure to let her know what i needed when i called in and i scheduled to be her first appointment on Sunday. Even though i was her first she rushed the whole time. My nails were lumpy and not smooth and after just one week they started lifting and turning yellow. I just got my nails done yesterday at a new place and she asked me how long i had these nails on and i said no more than two weeks. She was even shocked at how bad they were and slipped them all off my fingers with ease and replaced them with a new set. I don't like to be rushed and i don't like to feel that another customer is more important than me. I understand she gets busy but that doesn't give her an excuse to do a crappy job. I will not be going back. I have found a new place i will stay there. read more
