I had an appointment to get a pedicure. All she did was scrub. The bottom of my feet take off the nail polish and then proceed to put toilet paper in between my toes, and polished them without giving me a full pedicure, what happened to cleaning filing like the whole pedicure process you charge me full price and give me horrible service I will never go back to Kathy shame on you. On top of that I went there a week ago to get my nails done Kathy's husband the shop owner did my nails. I left there with acrylic on my skin lumps in my nails. We made an appointment for three people at the same time and were told us come in an hour. When we arrived, we were left waiting an additional 30 minutes. They only took two of us, rushed one person's service because another appointment had arrived, and then told the third person, "Sorry, we have other appointments, so you'll have to wait another hour." This was extremely disappointing customer service. We scheduled our appointments together and expected to be seen together as promised. Instead, our time was wasted, one service felt rushed, and the third person was pushed aside despite having an appointment. We come here regularly, but today's experience has made us seriously reconsider returning. I hope management addresses these scheduling and customer service issues so this doesn't happen to anyone else!!! read more

Today I called ahead to schedule my wife a pedicure appointment, and when she arrived, they were not ready and had her wait for an hour. Then, once she sat in the chair, she still had to wait an additional 20 minutes. When a nail tech finished another persons pedicure, the nail tech immediately started to try to start my wife's pedicure with the used and unsanitary tools that were just used on the previous customer. When my wife addressed the dirty tools, the nail tech said sorry, and that she just rinsed them in the water. As in the customers pedicure water. When my wife asked for new tools, the nail tech became irritated (or embarrassed in my opinion), and was no longer gentle with handling the tools or my wife's feet. The nail tech was quite irritated that she had to get clean tools. After this, my wife no longer wanted this service, so we asked to stop and pay for what was done so far (filing of the old polish with dirty tools). When we tried to pay and leave, they appeared to make us feel as though we were the issue so their other customers would not know what really happened. The employees are not friendly, the salon is not clean, and you do not get quality service. I highly do not recommend, and should be inspected. Appointments don't mean anything here, and the language barrier made it difficult to ask simple questions. read more

I went to city nails to get a pedicure. I actually called and made an appointment. They told me to come now when I get there there's one employee and he told me I had to wait for an hour and I asked him Why didn't you tell me a better time to come I'm not in a rush so I left and I went back an hour later sat in the pedicure chair for about 20 minutes waiting for somebody to be available to help me Kathy finally showed up and was doing my pedicure when a customer sitting right next to me finish getting her pedicure. She wanted to get her nails done so Kathy the one doing my pedicure told her go sit in my chair. I'll be right there mind you She just started working on my pedicure about five minutes ago she half ass scrubbed my feet and she took off the old gel and proceeded to put toilet paper in between my toes and grab the polish so I asked her Kathy what are you doing? You haven't even cleaned my toes or done the whole pedicure process I pay for a full price for a pedicure I want a full pedicure she then proceeds to tell me oh well I'm not done and I said no you're done that that's why you put toilet paper in between my toes and you have a bottle of polish in your hand so then I said it's OK I'm done I'm just gonna leave What do I owe you for what you've done so far and she had the nerve to charge me $20. I will never go back to city nails. They work in a rush. They do not have quality work. They're dirty. They use the same tools they had just used on a customers feet on another customer and when the customer asked them for clean tools. They got irritated and annoyed. This place is dirty. They use dirty tools on their customers. They do not sanitize them when the customer asked her if she can have clean tools. The lady said oh I cleaned them in the water as in the pedicure water. I'm sorry that is not clean or sanitary. Do better for your customers! read more

I don't even care about the price. I could've definitely paid $50 for a way better pedicure. I got my nails done here (I know, I should have stayed home) because my boyfriend was planning a surprise proposal and he hired my mom to get me my nails done for the pictures (cheesy, I know). I wanted a simple, ombré, full set. Nothing too fancy. I didn't wait too long, which is why I'm giving the one star. But my experience was horrible, the nail tech barely talked to me, all my nails were left in different lengths and shapes, and the skin on my finger tips was cut into pretty deeply. I bled out of 6 fingers the whole ride home. It felt like the tips of my fingers had been chopped off. I couldn't even wash my hair from how painful it was to touch anything. You can see the scabs forming two days later. My new fiancé feels guilty that I had a bad experience here. Horrible. read more

I came in for a pedicure, got the # 2 pedi with Gel which comes with callus remover (she did a bomb job) eucalyptus scrub and some other good stuff. I just get basic white gel pedis nothing too hard or difficult. Always try something basic when trying a new nail shop because that first time will always tell you if you are going back or not! Do not waste your time. I got a full gel set with Cathy. Worst experience I've ever had and I've been getting my nails done for 15 years. She put the wrong size fake nail on my ring finger (it was too small so you could still see my real nail on the side of it) and I had to TELL her to redo it or else she would've left it like that. Didn't do my cuticles or hand massage, nothing. My nails came out crooked I had to tell her to fix the shapes MULTIPLE times to where she would constantly ask me "like this?" "Is that okay?". I wanted gel on my toes but when I realized she didn't cut or clean my toenails and was already about to start the gel I said NVM and just asked to quickly finish and just do regular polish. By that point I just wanted to get out of there. I had to tell her how to cut my toenails (which was just FLAT square) and to fix the toenail polish. I've never had to instruct a nail person how to do my nails ever! Will never go there again. read more

This time around another lady did my nails, very sweet but the nails are not good at all and I didn't want to upset her and tell her to redo them all. I get she tried but i feel she should've known how to do a style like this before even trying to do my nails that way.
